NO MOTOR BIKES ON PROPERTY PLEASE!! Burra Creek Camping in Bright is an incredibly beautiful, rustic 5000-acre property, situated 25km North of Robertstown, just over 2 hours from Adelaide. It's suited to those with 4x4 or higher clearance vehicles, and off-road campers/caravans and tents. The camping sites here are very private, and provide large flat areas to set up. All have beautiful surroundings and views. The land here is spectacular. From morning light accompanied by birdsong, to days spent exploring the creek and the bush, to stargazing and toasting marshmallows by night, the land here offers the perfect antidote to modern-day stresses. There is (wonderfully) limited phone service here, meaning it's the perfect place for a digital detox! Two of our campsites have very basic outback long drop toilets (Wombat Flat and Creek Site), but for all other sites, campers need to be fully self-contained. It's you and nature. Therefore we ask that you please ensure the place is left as or better than you found it. All rubbish and waste to be taken with you. Important Information to know before booking: ALL GUESTS/VISITORS MUST BE BOOKED IN BEFORE ENTERING OUR PROPERTY Plenty of fallen timber around you are welcome to collect for firewood, however, strictly no chainsaws or cutting down of trees. For your own comfort, you could take your first day of wood, so you’re ready to have a fire once all set up. And strictly no motorbikes, firearms, or rally driving on the property. Comfort fires only while fire ban season is in place Pets are allowed, as long as they are controlled.

Wombat Flat

Wombat Flat is the perfect spot for small or larger groups with 4x4 vehicles, and off road campers and hybrids. There is a very very basic outback long drop toilet available at this location, but would be best to bring your own portable toilet, to be self sufficient as well. Located next to the creek and wombat holes! Hopefully, you will see a wombat. Heaps of dry creek beds to explore. Milky Way stars for infinity. NO MOTOR BIKES of any kind We ask that your respect our land, and no fast rally driving in paddocks please! Any visitors on our property for a day visit, must be pre-booked via the EXTRA's section when making your booking.

This campsite is located right next to Burra creek, and is perfect for small or large groups, with plenty of space and lots of flat cleared area, and interesting areas to explore including the seasonal creek bed. 4x4 vehicles high clearance best to get to this site There is a very very basic outback long drop ECO toilet, best to be self sufficient, you are also welcome to bring your own portable toilet. Well-behaved dogs welcome. Firewood collection onsite available but please no chainsaws. Only collect the fallen timber. No littering, all rubbish must be removed and not burnt. Please leave our site as you find it. No irresponsible rally driving around property. NO firearms of any sort, NO motor bikes of any kind on our property. Any visitors on the property for the day not staying, please go to the extra section when making the booking. Bright/Burra Creek camping, is situated 25km North of Robertstown, and is best to have 4x4 vehicles and off road campers/caravans and also tents.

This campsite is a nice flat spot that overlooks the red gums. Perfect for small groups with off-road camper trailers, hybrid campers and small caravans and 4x4 vehicles. A nice stroll down the dry creek bed, and keep a watch out and you may see Diprotodon dinosaur bones imbedded in the creek walls from many years ago . NO MOTOR BIKES of any kind No Chainsaws No 4x4 tracks No toilet at this site so please bring your own, no paper or waste to be left at the site. If you wish to have day visitors, you MUST book them in at the time of booking and we do have a small charge for this. Please do so via the Extras at time of booking.

We had a great time at Burra Creek — it’s a very large, quiet campground that offers a wonderful chance to disconnect from technology. I did find the one small spot for reception, but I won’t reveal it ;) it’s a good trek for the next camper to discover.

Emu Rise {Quarry}
We absolutely loved our time at Emu Rise! The view was beautiful, and the sunsets were even better. The instructions were very clear, and the property was easy to find. Our particular site was sort of near the passage to a few other sites, but this didn’t disrupt our stay at all. The farm is HUGE, and the sites are very well spaced out from one another, which gives you plenty of privacy! We had three dogs with us, and they absolutely loved it! Access was also very easy. Two of our cars weren’t 4WDs, but they made it there without any trouble, as the road is in great condition. We will definitely be back soon! I can’t thank Trish and Peter enough for everything. We had such a wonderful time!

Great private and quiet spot. Right next to a dry creek bed, our kids had a ball exploring the creek and climbing up and down the rock piles. Trish gave clear and precise instructions on how to find our camp well in advance. Would recommend.

Eastern Creek
Absolutely magic place to stay! We camped at Eastern Creek for 4 nights with our dog and loved it. The wildlife was incredible, even had an emu walk through our camp and watch us for a evening. We also saw so many beautiful birds nesting in the trees right next to us and a family of emus running through the field. Thank you so much for sharing your property with us. We loved exploring it!

Creek Campsite
This is our second time camping on Peter and Trish's property and both times at different sites and they dont disappoint. So much to see, the rock formations in the creek bed next to where we camped were amazing and stunning. Lots of different types of birds to see and listen too. Big camp areas for kids to do whatever they want. So many tracks and places to explore. Lots of shady trees but also open areas to be out in the sun. We are already planning our next visit because we have so much fun camping here!

We stayed at eastern creek and what a ripper plenty of shade, nice fire pit and an all round beautiful spot. I had an awesome time at Red gum lookout. It’s a beautiful spot overlooking the Burra river. Plenty of exploring and great walks to go on. Lots of wood for a good bomb fire, and you are certainly in the middle of our beautiful scrublands. Very easy to find and highly recommend this bit of paradise to anyone who wants to get away and get a bit of country life. Thank you Trish & Pete for sharing this with me and allowing me to stay. 😉 Love our beautiful state/country 👌

Stayed at the wombat flat site with my 5 year old son. The property is just beautiful. Lots of great places to explore. The area had about 5 fire pits that we found spread out all over. Lots of different options to set up camp. Saw heaps of wombat holes, but no wombats unfortunately. Even had some emu's visit camp in the morning! Trish was great with communication, gave clear instructions on how to reach camp with Google map pin drops and pictures. Made it easy to find the camp site. Will definitely be back again. Would recommend to anyone that wants a beautiful, peaceful piece of Australian courtyside to camp
