Not for us, Black water running through our site, incredibly small sites, concrete pad was badly damaged. The host were backpackers that werent really interedted.
The camp was great. Beautiful spot. Unfortunately we had some rain and our camp site 15A was in a hole and we were flooded. As the place was booked out, we had to relocate our camp to a small dry area on our friends camp-site. We did our best to enjoy the remaining nights. The site could be landscaped to level it out and help drainage for future guests.

Was really impressed with our camp site! I thought the price was pretty reasonable for a powered site in a caravan park. We travelled with a dog so absolutely loved how close the dog beach was. The sites were packed in pretty close. Ammenities were clean and well looked after.

Beautifull place and we enjoyed our stay. Only negative point was that trash bins were overloaded and stinking.

Location is good. Next to the beach however I couldn't really find a consistent way to describe the place. It's laid back, surf vibe for a part of the site which was okay but the other part of the site where we camped was quite run down and even felt close to a dump with a mix of some construction and really old run down cabins, sheds, debris and stuff, etc. Definitely not like in the pictures.... There is very little privacy as every camp spot was really close to each other, bathroom and showers were clean but had broken locks and door couldnt close properly, which is a bit of a safety concern. The front gate was malfunctionning. There was no toilet paper left at 5pm and until we left in the morning. I think there was only one person looking after the whole site, which was friendly thankfully. We left as early as we could (weather was poor as a contributing factor), it just didn't feel great. I would not return.

Facilities weren’t okay - except unpowered sites were below average - was basically a free for all. The first site I was allocated has a tree in the middle of it and also a fire pit which was dig in to the ground. There was no room for my car to park in the spot… nor could I physically access it without driving through someone else’s site.
The unpowered site was okay - neighbours had their dog off the lead and their kids kept hitting my dogs.

Lovely location, but park quite rundown and needs a tidy up. Bridge to beach looks like it should be condemned. But bathrooms nice and clean where we were located. Power and water connections very basic. Repairs were being done to water pipes.

A stunning location but wouldn’t recommend a stay here for the cost !!
Prior to arrival I sent 2 massages and tried to call the number regarding after 1700 check in. No reply!
On our arrival I was met with very unorganised and unprofessional staff. There was a discussion between them both regarding the fact we had turned up and where would they put us which ment to me that they had over booked.
We were taken to a patch of grass which was wide enough for our RV between a caravan and another RV. No space to even put a chair outside. When questioned staff told me that this was a pitch. The caravan next to us had a waste water pipe flowing next to our side door so the ground was boggy and smelt.
Facilities were clean and usable.
Overall a very disappointing stay and very over priced.
We loved our 2 night stay here! Very relaxing, beautiful spot, a step back in time without all the rules so many places have now. We got really lucky with the spot we booked right near the water. Our dog had the best time cruising around, everyone was very chilled. We will definitely be back!

Great immenities, looks to be recently renovated toilets and showers. Beautiful access to the beach. Very shabby park though, could do with a big overhaul to make it more appealing.

King Tipi Tent
We stayed in the glamping tent for one night. The wifi did not work at all. The tent did smell damp and overall the place just needs a massive clean up. Old trucks and trash around the site all over. Staff were lovely and it’s right on the beach!
It was perfect. Stayed in a powered site,The hosts were lovely, The amenities were lovely and clean ( absolute bonus) the beach was perfect, will definitely stay again and again.
Great location and facilities. But once you have made the booking don’t expect anyone to answer the phone or respond to messages.
If you are looking for a 5 star caravan park, this isn't for you. If you want somewhere with a fabulous location, clean amenities (one old, one under renovation but almost complete and demountables) good camp kitchen, cabins and friendly people, then this is for you. It is pet friendly, the beach/rock walks are great. It is run by Mojo Surf, so has surf school and their own accommodation area. I will be back 😁

the region is stunning.
only compaint is that we booked a creek side grassy site and ended up in the middle of all the buildings and opposite the kitchen and bins with no trees.
two days in a group moved in on the area which we were told was ours and we had to move our whole setup to fit them in without anyone from the venue talking to us. Disorganised backpacker place, was very hard to talk to people and organise our site and then we didn't get it anyway, which at Christmas pricing hurts. A shame as the place is gorgeous.

toilets and camp kitchen were a bit dingy, apart from that it’s a beautiful location with great surf out the front. would recommend 👍
Quite overpriced for what it offers. We paid $91/night for a small powered site with no river views, and the neighboring site (unpowered) was very close and they were connected to the powerbox. The site number provided isn’t accurat, you only find out your actual spot upon arrival. There were no private firepits, and no firewood available for purchase either.

Who ever owns this property should be ashamed of the damage they have done to the environment and the disgusting establishment they have created. What an absolute rip off! The worst facilities I have ever seen anywhere in Australia. This place is an absolute dump!

Overall we had a great experience as we only did tent site for 2 nights. The faucets needs an update though as it is too hard to keep pressing while washing the other hand. Shower is warm enough. Kitchen is just ok as long as you have some cooking utensils on your own. The location is awesome though. Although we went there just after rainy season and there are pooling of waters so we couldn't get around much. But over all for tent site its ok and theyre ok with dogs too.
Surrounded by beach, lake and estuary, what a great vibe.
Great family camp site , hot water showers were great .

I'm giving a what could have been review because like us at home in QLD, Kristie's park in NSW suffered from the Cyclones wind and waves.
Sooo our caravan site was right on the water and had everything you could ask for, water,power,nice grassed area, concrete pad as well as local wildlife!
The facility's are old but clean.
The beach ⛱️ was suffering a bit from washed up seaweed and sand erosion, but certainly didn't stop water activities.
There are basic necessities at the office and larger shops in surrounding areas. We enjoyed our time there and will possibly return again next year.
Kristie and Toby where very accommodating when we had to postpone for a week due to the cyclone.
Lots of friendly young people who come and stay for the 🏄♂️ and to attend the surf schools.
Everyone waves and smiles.
Dog friendly and our pups had an awesome time on the beach ⛱️
All in all a great week.
