The peace and tranquillity and spectacular scenery make this the ideal place to relax and unwind or the perfect spot to base yourself while you explore everything the Tweed Shire and the Northern Rivers Region has to offer.
On arrival you get to choose your own unpowered spot. You then set up camp. The caretaker will check you in at the spot you have chosen towards the end of the day.
Misty Mountain Campgrounds is suitable for tent campers, caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes..
PLEASE NOTE - Children aged between 3 and 15 are booked under Child Rates, Children 2 and under are Free and do not have to be booked in.

1. We are not permitting people to set up in the dark, it is totally black, no lighting in wilderness zone and far too difficult to locate your site, and it disturbs other campers.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
PHONES: Phone reception is good, there is a Telstra exchange on the property.
ROADS: Roads around the sites are unsealed, but most normal cars and the average SUV handle it okay. The road down into the Megalong Valley is tar sealed, very scenic but winding.
ICE: Bring your own ice
WOOD: Timber for fires can be purchased at reception. We are an environmental biodiversity precinct so don’t permit damage to vegetation.
FIRES: Plenty of existing fire spots
SHOPS: The township of Blackheath is 15klm away up on the Gt Western Hwy, none in the Valley
SHADE: Plenty of shady areas
WATER: We are on town water
TOILETS there are 3 men's and 3 women's, plus 8 at reception, plus 3 in pioneer and 3 in corner paddock
SHOWERS: 3 gas hot water showers in men's, 3 in women's, plus 2 in Lodge
NOISE: Shutdown time for music is 10pm - no exceptions! but you can still enjoy the fires - quietly.

BIKE and WALKING TRACKS: Plenty of bush tracks, plus walks up at Porters Pass and Blackheath
Dont forget to bring along some bread to feed the horses and donkeys - they love it
You are reminded to allow enough time to arrive for this property.prior to dark, which is 5.0 in winter.
It is difficult to find a wilderness campsite in the dark and disturbs other campers.
We are requiring ALL vehicles to get registered PRIOR to going up to the site, resulting from so many vehicles trespassing at the venue and causing nuisances for other campers
Please indicate the details of cars such as make, model , colour and rego number prior to arrival.
We must also remind campers that this is not a venue for noisy partying as we are a quiet wilderness environmental zone. We do not tolerate it and will remove offenders. Other campers treasure the peace and quiet.

CAMP 3 is a private in the bush area and will cater for five or so rooftops tents, difficult for caravans or large vehicles.
CAMP 4 smaller possibly two tents or rooftops secluded in the bush.
CAMP 5 similar to camp 3 in the bush and completely private great for a get together with friends.
CAMP 6 is the very top of the mountain with a long wide strip of cleared area with bush on both sides and a window at the end to the valley below, very private, must be fully contained and would suit most vehicles, may lose traction if pulling a heavy caravan or trailer.

1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or any camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time - we must know your exact numbers.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds, treat it like you would a National Park.
4. ALL WASTE must be bagged and taken off site with you. The rubbish bins in the street are not ours. They belong to the people that live in the valley. You must be prepared to take all rubbish home with you.

Canoelands Orchard Camping and Fruit Picking, is located just 1 hour from Sydney's CBD. The property is 81 acres in total with a small shop and cafe onsite. We offer pick your own fruit so are open to the public daily (closed on occasion). Trading hours can be viewed at www.bookingscanoeladns.com. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle.
2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach Bennett Beach 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach.
Pets are welcome please pick up after them. All dogs from now on must be on a leash at all times as you cannot predict what other campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here.
Free use of fire pits. 1st wheelbarrow of firewood is free. After that $15 for 20kg bag.
Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, the rest without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control.
We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm.
PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents.
2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking.
3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite.
4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people, the check in time is between midday and sunset. If you arrive after sunset make sure you have a torch. If in doubt call.
5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a hill. we are creating more level campsites. Shade trees are being planted. But they are slow to grow.
6) Please check weather report a minimum of 7 days before you arrive and CANCEL your booking if you are not sure.
7) We cannot control the wind, the sun, rain, or lack of rain.

Come camp along the beautiful Wilson River on a working cattle property. Shady, grassy campsites by a flowing river, just 25 minutes drive from Port Macquarie.

Check in time is strictly prior to 7pm. Firewood and Eggs can be purchased on arrival.
The camp area includes toilets, a basic camp shed, where campers can make use of the picnic table, stainless steel food preparation bench and camp fire pit.
There are only 2 sites available with power which is included in the site price. (Site 1 and 2)
Caravan for hire as well - sleeps 2 adults and 1 child
Check out our extras like eggs and firewood. Please request on arrival and pay via cash or PayID. Fresh honey also available sometimes during the year.
Toilet block newly built. Early check in and late checkout available on request. Laundry services available on request.
If you have 3 or more children please call me for a discount.
Kids will love the farm tour (4.00pm to 5.00pm daily, later in summer months) for the feeding of chickens, ducks, bunny rabbits, horse, donkeys, sheep and goats. It's an excellent area for mountain bike riding as well!
Kayaks/push bikes available for free.
Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy.
Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site.
Early check in available upon request. Free if you are staying more than 1 night. No check prior to 12pm.
Rules:
1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 5.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times.
2. No Fireworks - this is very unsettling for our livestock
3. 9pm quiet time.
4. No drones in the camping area, for the privacy of other campers
5. Generators are allowed for short period of time but not permitted after 8pm.
6. Dogs on leads when walking around the farm - Limit of 2 dogs per camp site.
7. STRICKLY NO GLASS AT RIVER - campers will be asked to leave immediately

A property with amazing river access a history of great fishing and gold panning. The steep terrain adjacent the river lends itself to some fantastic scenery, the perfect place to unplug and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Grab a tube and float down the river rapids, or just relax in camp listening to the sounds of nature.
We have an abundance of bird life and wild cattle roaming the property, theres so much to see and enjoy
With a small number of sites on the property you're sure to feel like the only ones in the world.
Currently access is 4WD recommended due to the steep terrain. Any towing MUST be done with a 4WD.
AWD and rear wheel drive vehicles are fine, though good idea to check with us FWD vehicles are NOT permitted. Good ground clearance is required

Another wonderful stay at Bundilla. Our first visit in our van, usually we camp. Fabulous for kids , the animal feeding was great, and the river was a lovely swimming temperature. Cheryl and Rick friendly and welcoming as always.

Lovely green grass, camping set behind the trees so not direct views of the river.
River was clean and full of water, kids love using one of the many kayaks or body boards in the river. Long drops were beautiful and clean.
Farm tour was also fun for the kids. Cheryl and Rick were welcoming.
Only thing i could wish for was more access paths from the campsites to the river. If you’re in the middle-end of the camp ground it’s a bit of a walk to the river.
But I will keep this one in my list to come back again one day.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The property has a beautiful, clear river that is great for swimming and kayaking. Sites are well maintained with access to toilets. Thoughtful extras like free kayaks, playground equipment, delivery of firewood to your site (fee) and daily animal feedings were all a nice unexpected bonus. Sites were quite close together and it was busy during our stay in school holidays but the river was long enough that you could find a quiet spot if you wanted. We’d happily stay again if we’re ever in the area again.

Great trip. Beautiful location and loved the fire pits. Mei was a lovely host, very helpful and kind on arrival.
Unfortunately as it was a long weekend it was busy and other people staying did not respect communal bathrooms and left them dirty and wet. Mei however did her best to keep the bathrooms clean and opened up another bathroom to accommodate people.

We had a great time camping here over the Labour Day long weekend! The place is beautiful, with amazing mountain views right in front of our campsite. The communal room is a nice bonus, with a TV, microwave, electric kettle, power points for charging devices and billiard table. There are plenty of toilets and showers, all well maintained. A big thank you to Mei for being so helpful and keeping everything clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!

The place is amazing all around & Mei and John were so friendly and helpful!
We had booked for 2 nights then added another night cause it was just that good!
Facilities and amenities 5stars, the place is so well looked after!
John even worked hard to get the Grand Final on Tv for us in the Shed!
Only thing we will say is to make sure and book as many nights as you can cause you will love it! 😀

What a gem of a place for our maiden voyage in the caravan.
Rick & Cheryl were so welcoming & down to earth.
The sites were big, the river was beautiful and refreshing.
The pit toilets were great. Kept very clean, no smell what so ever.
The kids had so much to do. There were kayaks, boogie boards, bikes and swings, all provided. They also loved feeding the farm animals
No wonder it has won all the awards, it's a gem of a place.
