We absolutely loved camping on Kate’s property. There is so much space, acres of lush land that feel open, calm, and beautifully maintained. Waking up to the sounds of animals in the morning was a real highlight and made the experience feel very peaceful. We barely heard the noise of the road despite being close to it.
The location is excellent, with very easy access to the popular beaches around the Jervis Bay area. A big plus for us was that the camping is dog-friendly, and the generous space between sites meant we never felt crowded or too close to other campers. Kate took the time to introduce us to her animals, the goaties, alpacas, and donkeys which was such a special touch. Overall a relaxing and memorable camping spot that we’d happily return to.

We loved our stay here. Great hosts, plenty of space, flat ground and cute animals to feed in the morning. The portaloo was a bonus and surprisingly clean and didn't smell!
If you need to fill your caravan water tanks before arriving, you can do so at the rec reserve just 2 minutes away.
Great location to explore the surrounding areas. We loved swimming with the kids at Bendalong and at the river near Mona Mona playground in the Jervis Bay area.
Will definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Wandy Donkey Camp was a fantastic spot for tent camping. Beautiful scenery and the large paddock meant it felt very private even with other campers sharing the space because everyone was able to spread out. Kate was an excellent host. Unfortunately we didn't meet the donkeys on this visit but will hopefully be back!

We stayed at the Flash Camp over New Years. I was really impressed with the amenities, Bbq's & toiletries.
The whole site is very family & kid friendly. They put on an inflatable water slide for the kids in the afternoons, there's a park area with slack lines & a flying fox plus a soccer field.
The water was beautiful & peaceful, plenty of shallow areas for the kids & deeper parts for a swim.
I highly recommend Jilla, we'll be back!!

We stayed for two nights on our way back from central coast. It was so lovely, the river is accessible from the campground and there is heaps to do for kids. The owners have placed a flying fox, kids monkey bars, and a soccer pitch with goals. They also come in the afternoon and inflate the inflatable water slide for kids. There are toilets and sinks for washing up. They also accept dogs and allow fires. The glamping area is very cosy from what we could see ☺️ thank you for having us, we will be back for Australia Day long weekend for more adventures

Kate and Dave were the most amazing hosts and the Camp was the best we’ve stayed at! The different camperes were placed far apart so it felt like we had the entire ground to ourselves - and we were placed so we were looking right at the cows which was amazing. In the morning we were able to meet and pet all the animals on the farm which was an amazing experience ❤️
Fuerthermore they were amazing at showing us the stingrays and how to feed them.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riverbend, Karoola Station. Plenty of space to spread out with easy access to the river go heaps of swimming. It was nice and quiet even with most spots taken. Unfortunately we couldn’t have a fire but that was a fire ban rather than a property issue. We didn’t see then hosts which we thought was slightly unusual from our previous stays at other Hipcamps but given time of year (between Xmas and NYE) we figured they might have been holidaying too. We will happily come back!

We had a wonderful stay. Even at the busiest time of year, we felt like we were camping alone. Our site was beautiful and green, water available close by and a 3 minute drive to the beach. Kerren and Mark were wonderful hosts, checking in daily if we needed anything. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our time at Jila Campground, so much so we extended our trip by double! There are so many great facilities that aren’t mentioned on hipcamp including high ropes for kids, a soccer field and a huge blow up water slide that get put up in the afternoons. The river is amazing. Very clean and super safe. Great for families. Our dogs loved running around off leash and making friends with the other campers. The campground is well space out so you’re not on top of anyone and you feel totally immersed in nature. Toilets and camp skinks are convenient and clean.
