This was a great find. So close to motorway it was fantastic, but still not too noisy. Lots of room in an open field with plenty of fire pits. Toilets are clean and maintained. Water available is good bore water. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Bonville Camp Ground
This camp was great, we stayed 3 nights and it was so peaceful. Perfect base to visit Coffs Harbour, Forrest Sky Pier, Boambee Beach, Sawtell, Bonville lookout.
Make sure you see the Big Mahoghany Tree on the property.
Didn't manage to get out of the Witches circle though. 😊
Great campground, pet friendly, fire pits, large clean sites, clean toilets, easy access to walking and Mountain Bike tracks. We will camp here again.
I loved Bonville Camp! The views were beautiful, the camping area was clean and tidy. Fantastic amenities were provided and these were spotless! Would definitely recommend.

Great camp spot, well kept, fireplace, excellent composting toilet, water available. It was quiet, peaceful with lovely walks in the adjoining forest. Welcoming hosts who enjoyed a chat.

Great spot, tucked away from the highway and while you can hear the road a bit it's dulled down a bit by the noise of the ocean overnight which is lovely!
Great facilities and very well thought out camp. Camp spots are spread out nicely so space between you + any neighbouring campers. Great fire pits at each spot. So nice to watch the stars by the fire! The bathrooms and bore water tap were a highlight. Lots of well thought out details in how the whole place is set up. Will definitely be back!
Our 10yr old loved the fun and interactive escape room.
Our 13yr old loved that each site had a fire pit with affordable firewood available.
Our 15 yr old loved how spacious the sites were.
Dad - thought we would get a minimal camp site but were surprisingly welcomed with clean new amenities, firepits, fire wood, a free library, mountain bike track and bush walk and hosts that really care for their visitors, all with most affordable prices.
Mum - enjoyed the serene mountain views, fresh amenities and giant skip for rubbish. 7th

Beautiful spot, spotless bathroom. Plenty of space. Nice and flat.
Loved my stay! Everyone was so friendly and accomodating. The campsite was amazing! Such beautiful views. Was so relaxing I wish I could have stayed longer! But will definitely be back :)
Wide open space with plenty of room to relax. Toilets were very clean and tidy.
Beautiful place to stop over between Gold Coast and Sydney, lots of space with beautiful view!! My family loved trying to figure out the witches escape circle we had so much fun solving the clues!!

We had a fantastic stay at Bonville Camp Ground. Gregg has created a great camping spot that is incredibly well set up, with spacious, level sites and everything kept neat and tidy. The campground is peaceful, well maintained, and the facilities are clean and well looked after.
It's in a great location, close enough to everything around Coffs Harbour but still feels quiet and relaxing. Gregg was a friendly and welcoming host, which made the stay even better.
We'd happily stay here again and highly recommend Bonville Camp Ground to anyone looking for a quality Hipcamp. Thanks, Gregg, for sharing such a great place!

Gorgeous location, friendly hosts, and fun little surprise with the witches circle puzzle. Highly recommend.
This was a great spot to stay for an overnight stay or a few days. Only about 15 min from Coffs Harbour & surrounded by bush and paddocks to give you a nice country feel. Gregg was lovely & very helpful. Fire pit at each site & firewood provided which is a great help, along with very clean compose toilet’s. This is not a free camp ground so please don’t disrespect the work Gregg does by coming in after hours & parking in the bush, using the facilities & leaving early the next day without paying..!! As a couple did while we were there.. Not ok!! The only thing l would say is be careful driving in, make sure you look down the track to see no one is coming up as it will only fit one van at a time..!!
This was such an easy and pleasant overnight camp. Access is via a short gravel road with some hills but it is well graded and we had no trouble in our large motorhomes. Just drive on in and find a spot in the huge field that is available. Not all sites are level but there are plenty that were. There are lots of spots with camp fires set up which we appreciated on the cold night we were there. Wood was available as well as 2 camp toilets and a bin. There is some lovely woodland at the edge of the field for walking the dogs. There is some noise from the highway but it’s far enough away to be more of a constant hum than terribly intrusive. Overall a great little camp!
Excellent signage with easy access via the well maintained gravel driveway. Spotless composting sawdust toilets. Loveliest hosts. 💚

Bonville Campground is both well maintained & managed. It provides easy access to local MTB trails, beaches & the beautifull hinterland into Bellingen. We'll be back for sure!

A beautiful campsite with lots of space, green rolling hills, pristine forest, campfires and great views of the stars. Lots of birdlife, especially kookaburras and butcher birds. One of our favourite campsites.
Potable bore water, bins and and pair of new composting toilets (kept very clean), but otherwise most suitable for self-contained campers. Some surprise gems including a large white mahogany tree and an escape room-style challenge.
Very close to mountain bike trails. A short drive to Urunga, Sawtell or the Coffs coast.
