Valley View Escape is a 500 acre working dairy farm located in the beautiful Nambucca Valley just 25 minutes off the highway. There is stunning 360 views of mountain ranges and Lake Lumby from all our sites. We offer powered sites and unpowered sites which are all level grounded with grass. There is non potable water available. The property is generally accessible with 2WD vehicles in dry conditions. However, access may become difficult after a sufficient amount of rain. Front wheel drive vehicles may struggle to access the property, particularly in wet or soft ground condition (eg; towing a caravans or large camper vans). Please message before booking if unsure. Our powered sites are conveniently located close by the amenities with flushing toilet, hot shower and dump point. Enjoy and relax at our communal picnic area with fire pit, shade, picnic table and pontoon on Lake Lumby which is great for kayaking and swimming. Also access to local creek at the front of property. We absolutely loved it. We opted for a powered site where we watched the farm in action from our perch at the campsite. The caretaker, Lee was great and loo's and showers were clean, first world quality and rustic. Well done to the to host!

The Lake View was amazing! Great spot with great views of the lake, and paddock across with cows happily grazing on grass. Was lovely to have our own little spot, still with access to use bathroom amenities when needed. Was lovely spot, did have little to no reception for the stay! Close to town and Nambucca heads for site seeing and exploring. The camp facilities were well kept and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We will be staying again!

Absolutely loved our little spot in middle ridge. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. We stayed there on our way up north and changed places to stay here again on the way back down we just loved it so much. The place was private and stunning. The cows came and greeted us on arrival which was awesome. Will be back

We loved the site and facilities, what a gem of a place and the view across the property was fantastic. A real relaxing getaway and watching the cows get hearded down to get milked was a buzz. The lake was clean and included a picnic table and can’t give this place a bigger rap. Darcee was responsive to our needs and friendly caretaker onsite made our stay first class. Don’t expect 5 star, this is rustic charm at its best

Second time camping here. Middle Ridge site is the best choice for a caravan. Need a 4wd to safety go up and down the hill. Full internet coverage with Optus. Stunning views and caretaker brings $20 loads of firewood to your site. Definitely will be returning ❤️

Thanks so much Darcee for sharing your property. We had a very peaceful stay on this picturesque lush dairy farm and enjoyed two perfect sunny days of 360’ views of glorious countryside with no wind farms in site. Was lovely watching from afar the dairy farm in daily operation. Valley view escape provides a safe serene camping experience with caretakers nearby to assist but are also unobtrusive. Highly recommend this Hipcamp only 10 mins from Bowraville for supplies if needed.

It was a great place / site, very well kept and the bathrooms were very clean. Darcee was helpful and there were no issues with last minute changes. The onsite caretake was helpful and could answer any questions we had. We enjoyed going on walks to the dam and spending time together. There was a little added bonus of a calf for the kids to pat and feed.

This place is incredibly beautiful. Being on the lake view site was perfect for me and my best mate (my dog). Visits from cows in the morning and sunsets that were breathtaking. Easy access to get there. Being self contained I didn’t use the amenities but from lake view they are not far up the hill. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely beautiful spot to camp! The views were absolutely gorgeous! The host and onsite caretaker were very kind and friendly. Sites were very well kept and amenities were simple, clean and tidy. Only note would be that the hot water in the shower doesn’t last very long, some of our group of eight had to have cold showers or go without most nights - not sure how that’d go if more sites/people had been using the shower too. Directions to the campsite were clear and easy to follow. Very convenient location too, only 10 minutes away from the town. Overall we were all very pleased with our experience, our whole group had a fantastic time and we will definitely be back!

We had a great time staying at the middle ridge camp spot. Amazing views wherever you look from All camp spots All areas are mowed neat and the driveway is in good condition even after rain. Nothing negative to say will definitely come back!
