We absolutely loved our stay here! It was such a beautiful, peaceful and family-friendly farm stay. The kids loved making full use of the playground and especially enjoyed taking the kayaks out onto the river from the property. The afternoon farm tour was a real highlight too — they got to feed the ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, horse and donkey, which they absolutely loved! We also really appreciated the fresh fruit, eggs and herbs from the garden. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stop on our travels. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to families travelling with kids!

Camping with the farm animals

Beautiful large, green and spacious campsites. Kids had plenty of fun on the equipment provided and enjoyed riding their bikes around. The creek had shallow sections which was perfect for the kids to walk through and explore. Kids also loved being able to feed the farm animals. Owners were very lovely, chatty and accommodating. Checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. We were offered to pick some lemons and blood oranges from the fruit trees after feeding the farm animals which the kids also enjoyed

This is an absolutely delightful location and stay. Cheryl is a wonderful host and if you have kids we 100% recommend joining her to feed the animals - goats, ducks, chickens, sheep, rabbits, guinea fowl, as well as a horse and a donkey. Although slightly on the expensive side for no power or water - we extended our stay as we enjoyed it so much. Our site was very shaded - so if you need solar don't pick site 3. Also the river was lovely to swim in.

Rick & Cheryl were very accommodating and friendly. The kids loved feeding the animals and swimming in the river. They had bikes, boogie boards and kayaks for the kids to have free use which means we didn't have to take ours. Highly recommend this Hip Camp

Bundillla was a great stay for a couple of nights. Our Friday was very quiet and peaceful. The weekends look busier . Great place for young families. Would be a great summer spot right on the river.

Such a lovely place to unwind and relax with the kids. It’s peaceful, quiet and so calming, with absolutely no stress. We stayed on Camp 1, which is powered, and in my opinion it’s the best spot. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! ❤️

Great peaceful getaway filled with kayaking, nature walks or bike ride, wildlife, river walks and exploring, fishing, camp fire and even a farm tour. Hosts, Cheryl & Rick were great and very accommodating and friendly. Kids had a blast.

Amazing River camping

We had a wonderful few days at Bundilla river camp. Cheryl and Rick are amazing, helpful and attentive hosts. The camp area was extremely well kept and the riverside camp-sites are huge. We thoroughly enjoyed the farm tour and kayaking on the river. The farm fresh eggs, daily wood deliveries and being very dog friendly were an added bonus. We can't wait to go back.

Thank you very much Cheryl & Rick for letting us stay on your beautiful property. You were so welcoming and helpful from start to finish. We stayed on a very spacious site number 7 with lovely grass and a view of the river. A ten minute walk led us to your riverside beach which was amazing. Great camping set-up. Cheryl was very welcoming & even took me on a little tour to round up the cattle. The grass is immaculate & the toilets are clean & a short stroll away. While you can’t see the river from the non- powered sites, you can hear it in the distance when it’s quiet. I had the whole paddock to myself on the first night. Will definitely be back when it’s warmer so I can spend time on the river.

A great stay

We all put our vans on site 1 and 2 as there was plenty of room and hosts were very happy for us to do that as 3 couples were travelling together with caravans. We loved feeding the animals and Cheryl and Rick were lovely telling us about all the animals and a bit about farm life. We also went into the vegetable gardens and fruit trees which was great. Picked a few herbs and fruit. The river was cold for swimming, but we had a swim or two- some braver than others. We paddle boarded and kayaked up river and tried fishing. Having a fire was a must with cold afternoon/ nights and warm winter days. A great stay- we enjoyed it all. Thanks Cheryl and Rick- we’ll be back 😀

The access to the river was a little difficult for anybody with walking difficulties. A beautiful place to stay for those who want a peaceful getaway but fairly removed from any other activities and services. Rick And Cheryl the hosts were lovely. We really enjoyed the animal feeding. And Cheryl was very generous in her time and showed us all around the farm. Great for all the family especially kids I think.. For the price, the inclusion of a hot and cold shower block would’ve been a welcome addition. Overall we had a lovely time with our caravaning friends, three vans in total and we were all able to fit on block one and two quite easily so the blocks are very spacious. It would be good if the river was visible from the camp sites. Thank you Rick and Cheryl.

Lovely Farm stay

Enjoyed our time camping with friends on Site 1 and 2. Had a few dips in the River and a bit of kayaking and paddle boarding. The fish weren’t biting, but just not the right time. Loved feeding the animals at the farmhouse and both Cheryl and Rick are lovely people. We would recommend staying there.

Highly recommend Rick and Cheryl’s Beautiful property right on the river, very well maintained, the cleanest pit toilets you will ever use, We enjoyed feeding the animals and tasting delicious fruit and vegetables from Cheryl’s gardens. Sitting by the fire listening to the trickle of the river - Bliss!

Great Farm experience

We had a fantastic stay at Site 1! The property is beautiful, with a peaceful farm setting that made it easy to relax. We really enjoyed kayaking on the Wilson River and found it to be a great spot for fishing as well. The fresh farm eggs were a lovely bonus, and Cheryl was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in nature.
