Located on the Mid North Coast NSW, 4kms off the Pacific Highway, and a quick 13/15-minute drive to the holiday township of Port Macquarie. Port Macquarie is known for its beautiful beaches, coastal scenery and walks, koala hospital, local strawberry and tomato picking, and 4WDing at nearby beaches and through Cairncross State Forest.
Bernard and Susan are custodians of the farm, primarily using the land for poultry (egg), pig, and goat farming. They are transitioning to an off-grid and eco-friendly lifestyle for their retirement.
The Hatch Farm is home to many animals, most of whom are rescues - including border collies, cavalier king charles spaniels, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, miniature horses, cows, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. There is plenty to do and see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals (there is usually a variety of babies to cuddle!), to casting a line or launching your boat from the rustic boat ramp. Please note that all animal interactions are self-led (including our animal nursery), and children must be supervised by their parents/carers. During NSW School Holidays, host led animal interactions will be available at designated times.

Our riverside sites sit directly beside the Hastings River, with beautiful views east and west and spectacular sunsets over the water. Guests can fish from the riverbank or our private jetty, launch a canoe or kayak for a paddle, or simply sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Despite the relaxed rural setting, you're surprisingly close to everything Port Macquarie has to offer. North Shore Beach is only around five minutes away, while the Hibbard Ferry is approximately 300 meter's from the riverside camping area, providing convenient access to Port Macquarie, its beaches, restaurants, shops and attractions.
Our property is maintained to a high standard and we deliberately limit camper numbers so guests can enjoy plenty of space, privacy and a genuine farm-stay atmosphere.
Good to know before booking
Our campsites are for fully self-contained caravans, motorhomes and camper trailers only. Your vehicle must have its own working toilet facilities. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate tents or rooftop tents.
Access to the North Shore involves crossing the Hastings River by vehicle ferry and ferry charges apply. For longer stays, we may be able to arrange a discounted local ferry pass—please ask us when booking.
Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome and may be off leash provided they remain under their owner's control and do not disturb other campers, livestock or pets.
Campfires for cooking are welcome when conditions and fire restrictions permit.
Whether you're here to fish, kayak, explore Port Macquarie and its beaches, or simply relax beside the river, Shoreline offers a peaceful country escape without leaving Port Macquarie's attractions far behind.

Secluded Racecourse Beach is a short drive south of Crescent Head on the mid-north coast of NSW. We have a beautiful 11 acres of coastal land where you can hear the waves as you sleep with the pristine Racecourse Beach only a 5 to 10 minute walk away. Racecourse Beach is a great spot for surfing, fishing and swimming. All you need to do is find one of our intimate sites for you to pitch a tent or pull up with the camper van.

15 minutes drive South East will take you to Port Macquarie, local surf beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants. 15 minutes South West will take you to Wauchope with it's quaint shops, sumptuous bakery and the wonderful hinterland.
Its just a short walk to Stoney Aqua Park, state forest walks (also great for bike riding), Ricardoes strawberries and tomatoes. Wildnets and skirmish are also nearby for the energetic; Otherwise relax in your deckchair and enjoy the serenity.
As we have livestock on the property we cannot allow campers to bring their own animals.

Our beautiful riverside farm is a 94 acre, safe and private waterfront property. All camps are large waterfront sites and well spaced apart, with firepits and acres of open lawn space for the kids. Only a few k's from M1, vehicle access is easy and no need to un-hitch.
There is excellent fishing, bird-watching and natural ecology. We’re located opposite Rawdon Creek Nature Reserve with pristine waterways to explore. Free use of large 3 man canoe and high tide ramp available for small boats.
The farm has plenty of space available to explore, with walking tracks along the river and good fishing sites in a bushland estuary habitat. Some of our critters include dolphins, echidnas kangaroos, rabbits and cows for the kids to feed. There is abundant birdlife including resident sea eagles, bower birds a host of others.
Nearby we have many beautiful beaches, restaurants, kids adventure parks, a zoo, country drives to great bush cafes and pubs
Plenty of pure fresh rainwater at the shed to fill your van.
Our pristine waterfront location means we cannot provide toilets.

Heartwood Farm is a centrally located 120 acres on the Mid-North Coast - about halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, only 1.5 kms off Pacific Highway, 25 mins to Port Macquarie, 15 Mins to Kempsey, 30 minutes to Crescent Head and 45 mins to South West Rocks.
We are off grid and live close to nature and enjoy the abundance that provides. We have been building and developing for the last few years. We are still a work in progress.
There are three horses that will no doubt come and say hello. They are all friendly, especially if you have a carrot. There are also a lot of kangaroos and wallabies. There are also a lot of different species of birds, including the much-loved Black Cockatoos which are in abundance here. We have also seen turtles, frilled neck lizards, diamond pythons, red belly black snakes (rarely) and goannas.

"The Riverbank" is only 7.5 kilometres and an easy 8 minute drive off the M1. The rich green land supports a small beef raising enterprise and the cattle graze in surrounding paddocks. YOU MUST ARRIVE BEFORE SUNSET
We are pet friendly however only for those pets that live in harmony with our farm animals.
We offer 2 powered sites with water hookup and 2 unpowered drive through sites without water connection; our brand new magnificently appointed camp kitchen and bathroom ammenities are available to all who stay.
We are caravan, campervan and motorhome friendly but do not offer swag only or tent sites.
Campfires can be enjoyed through the cooler months and when permitted by the Rural Fire Service
Unfortunately our 3 metre cliff face river frontage prevents access to the river for activities such as boating or kayaking; nor do we offer farm style adventures.
"The Riverbank" as a destination for a relaxing time to unwind or a base from
which to explore the beautiful Hastings area.
The Abundance Nursery and Cafe with it's splendid lily pond view is a great spot to enjoy a meal or a coffee and only 3 kms back along Rawdon Island road.
The pretty country town of Wauchope is only a 12 minute drive and is home to Timbertown, a theme park boasting steam train rides and a glimpse of the timber getting industry of a bygone era.
Drop into the Vibe Coffee House, pick up "the best" coffee and a sensational meal before perusing the many treasures of Wauchope's specialty shops.
A day trip to the Comboyne plateu is a rewarding experience and enhanced by enjoying a meal at the magnificant Byabarra Cafe on your way through.
Whilst the meals equall those of any capital city restaurant, the view of the valley will take your breath away.
And then; there's Port Macquarie (20 mins) and sorrounds! one of the most scenic and attraction packed areas of Australia's eastern seaboard. Stunning beaches, amazing walks, top class restaurants, the list goes on.
The nearest Dump Points are locacted in Wauchope (12 minutes) or Port Macquarie (20 minutes)

Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy.
Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site.

1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 5.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times.

The camping area is level and open, with plenty of space for your setup. All campers must be self-contained, with their own toilet, and we kindly ask you to take all waste when you go.

There are five major camping locations with many other camping locations that you may like to choose for yourself. You may choose to camp near the cattle yards close to the creek, near the horses or high up on the hill to catch the views of the property.
4WD vehicles & high clearance caravans are recommended and able to camp throughout the property and are recommended. 2WD wheel drive vehicles are able to camp at locations earlier in the property.
Toilet & hot shower available. Dogs are permitted but please discuss with us first. as they may need to be on a lead. Please ensure you do not follow Google Maps as you will get lost.
NOTE: When we are at the farm there little to no mobile reception. Your booking is confirmed and you are very welcome, please don't panic if I do not respond to a question, it can take me a few days. Often we aren't at the farm so sorry there is not always a "warm welcome" for you on arrival. :) Refer to my directions and phone number accessible via "My Trips."

I had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The host was extremely kind, helpful, and responsive whenever I called, and gave clear directions that made getting there very easy.
The campsite itself was beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

What an incredible experience this was. A short one night only trip, but will absolutely be back. The cleanest drop toilets I have ever seen, free kayaks to explore the clean and clear river, and a farm tour to feed the animals. Our kids had such a fun time feeding all the animals including horse, donkey, goats, rabbits, sheep. The onsite caretakers were really nice and very helpful. This Hip camp was amazing ! my daughter had the best time with the bikes and kayaks and all the beautiful little turtles everywhere . the animal feeding was a hit for both my self and my little girl the baby rabbits baby lamb and the cheeky donkey . definitely do your self a favor and get some eggs . i would give it a 10/10 THANK YOU !!

This is our 2nd time here, it’s so relaxing, we did the farm tour, kids love feeding the animals. Caretakers did a great job. Drop toilets are flash and very clean. Used the kayaks that are supplied to go for a paddle . We have already booked our next stay here,

We had such a lovely time at Bundilla river camp! Beautiful large shaded sites on soft ground, right next to the river. My son loved his farm tour given by the caretaker Wayne, and he and his wife were wonderful hosts while Cheryl and Rick were away.
Yes there are compostin(drop) toilets, but they were cleaner than most public toilets! We will be back for sure, could have easily stayed a week.

This is our 3rd trip to Bundilla and we love it and will be back! Beautiful spot - perfect for kids and dogs. Great to have bikes and kayaks on hand. The farm tour is awesome for kids, they love getting hands on with all the friendly animals. Swimming in the river was so refreshing. Cheryl and Rick are always attentive and responsive, such great hosts.

Amazing spot. Lucky to have the whole place to ourselves. Sites were excellent and well maintained. Amenities were great, no smell and decorated nicely. Little extras they had to offer eg kayaks were great. Farm tour was fun… will recommend to anyone who is after a peaceful spot to stay

All of the campsites are relatively flat.
Sites are large and drive in drive out. Super easy access.
All sites are within walking distance of the toilets and also the kayaks and bikes.

Beautiful site, we parked in the Orchard, close to the amazing amenities with a great view of the stunning sunset. Peaceful with plenty of room, privacy and fresh lemons and limes from the trees.
The amenities were outstanding! Kitchen, toilets and shower facilities were the best we have ever seen and the site also disposes of your rubbish and recycling, so an added bonus and convenience.
If you’re looking for a little piece of heaven close to the action in Port Macquarie or Wauchope, then this is your spot

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was such a beautiful, peaceful and family-friendly farm stay.
The kids loved making full use of the playground and especially enjoyed taking the kayaks out onto the river from the property. The afternoon farm tour was a real highlight too — they got to feed the ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, horse and donkey, which they absolutely loved!
We also really appreciated the fresh fruit, eggs and herbs from the garden. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stop on our travels.
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to families travelling with kids!

We had the most amazing stay at Bundilla Campground with our two kids. Such a beautiful, peaceful place and exactly what we were hoping for in a family camping trip.
One of the highlights for the kids was doing the farm animal feeding every evening — they absolutely loved it and looked forward to it each day. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating and really made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The property itself is beautiful, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We made some great family memories here and honestly didn’t want to leave.
Highly recommend Bundilla Campground, especially for families with kids. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Awesome full moon fishing camp!
Space, quiet and your private jetty what mot could you want. Greay fullmoon fishing caught mulloway, flatly and bull shark. Young pup also had a ball. Thanks definitely back again on next days off just hope it ain't booked out.
