Welcome to Appydaze Hideaway, where our motto is 'Stars, not street lights!’ What we have to offer is simple, and often, simple things are best! Our property is a 120-acre working family property, with 1.2km of river frontage on beautiful Piper's Creek in Kundabung, near Crescent Head. Centrally located between Sydney and Brisbane (Just 2 minutes off the Pacific Hwy), 10 minutes South of Kempsey Service Centre, and 18 minutes North of Port Macquarie Service Centre. The camping area is level and open, with plenty of space for your setup. All campers must be self-contained, with their own toilet, and we kindly ask you to take all waste when you go. Pets are welcome too. We have spent many years building the camp area in order to enable access so that we can share with you, what we are lucky to wake up to each day. This property and our camping offering is a work in progress, any feedback/suggestions (be they positive or negative) we would love to hear from you when you stay with us. Every sunrise and every sunset is different and makes for a new chapter each and every day.Welcome to AppyDaze Hideaway! This campsite is located 25 meters off the local river system, with 150 meters of river frontage. The area provided is both gravel hardstand, with a mainly grassed area available. From the camp area, there is a lovely 200-meter walk along the river to an existing wharf and boat ramp, to fish, swim, and kayak. There is also a maintained nature walk around the river, for a further 300 meters from the wharf. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask they take all waste with them when they go. We do however provide fire pits, with available wood and tables at your leisure. There is a large amount of shade from our beautiful trees around within the camp area itself, alongside lights provided around the timbered area and river line for nighttime. Please camp wherever you wish, as we believe in happy campers at Appy Dayz Hideaway.

Great camp along the river
Loved camping at this property, plenty of room to set up along the banks of the river. Nice flat grassy area and not too far off the highway. Pet friendly, able to have a fire and very quiet at night. Easy drive to Kempsey, Crescent Head and South West Rocks.

A great location/fantastic host.
A fantastic picturesque location. A great place to spend the a break with friends and family. Ideally located on a creek, so there are plenty of activities to do. The grounds are well Maintained and mowed. Peter is an awesome host who made sure everything was as we expected. It is a secluded touch of paradise still within the reach of Port Mac or Kempsey if you need anything. Thank you Peter for making this spot available to campers.

Overall we did not have a pleasant experience. The site was muddy and other late arrivals quite noisy and the host less then friendly.

We absolutely loved camping on Peter's property (appydaze). Flat, grassy and along the banks of a quiet river. Heaps of space means you feel like the only people there. Pete is a great host. Very prompt, happy to talk and make you feel at home. We will be back again soon.
