Easy access for any size rig, cabana with large table, firepit with logs to sit on and heaps of kindling about. Handy tree stump for chopping your wood. Huge area with a nice river to park nearby. Nearby highway didn’t produce anywhere near as much noise as we thought it might. Nice stopover.

Peter has an amazing property and was a super friendly, helpful and accommodating host! The river was awesome to swim and kayak in and the rope swing was a hit with the kids! We stayed for a week and will definitely be back!

Peter is lovely, welcoming and communicative.
The property is easy to find with his directions. There is lots of space, some fire pits and green grass. Also a lovely, well mannered dog you might get lucky enough to have visit!

Nice camping location. The river was a little discoloured from the recent rain but would be ideal for summer camping. Good directions to the Hipcamp and easy to get caravan into. Fire pits were provided which made it slightly more challenging cooking with a camp oven but placing underneath the raised fire pit worked perfectly. Great host. Free use of a kayak along with plenty of firewood to use from the property. Even solar lights came on at nighttime. There’s noise from the highway from the many trucks which took away a little of the ambience but nothing that kept us awake.

Peter was a perfect host! Clear instructions & he met us upon arrival to share some hints about where to park up. Peter's property is gorgeous. We parked up right next to the river, set up, not too much to do as we were only staying one night, had a wander along the river, firepit, drinks & tunes. It was perfectly relaxing & just what we needed after our son's wedding the weekend before. Thanks again Peter for your hospitality, we will definitely stay again when we're in your neck of the woods. Karyn & Kyle.

We just got back from the most amazing stay at this Hipcamp and I can’t stop raving about it! The campsite is perfectly set along a beautiful, river that’s super easy to access — it felt like a hidden paradise. The kids had an absolute blast in their Timmy’s in the river adventuring in the waterways every day!
The camp setup was really thoughtful too — spacious, clean, and private, with plenty of shade and room to spread out. At night, we sat by the fire under the stars while the river softly flowed nearby. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They even gave the kids tips for navigating the river, assisted with firewood. The river has access via pontoons making it’s so easy for us adults to stand up paddle boarding!
If you’re looking for a fun, safe, and beautiful spot to let the kids run free and enjoy nature, this place is perfect. We’re already planning our next trip back! Thanks Pete

I recently had the pleasure of spending some time at a wonderful camp that truly captured the essence of outdoor adventure for families. The open space was perfect for kids to run around and explore, and the nearby river was a highlight for everyone. The children absolutely loved swimming, boating, and even trying their hand at fishing. Although we only managed to catch a few eels, the excitement and joy on the kids' faces made it all worthwhile.
One of the best aspects of our stay was the ability to have a campfire. Peter, the camp host, was incredibly accommodating and made our experience even better. He was available whenever we needed him, offering assistance and ensuring that our stay was as enjoyable as possible.
Overall, this camp is a fantastic spot for families looking to enjoy nature and create lasting memories. The combination of open spaces, a beautiful river, and Peter’s supportive presence made our experience truly special. We can’t wait to return!

We only stayed 2 nights at Peter’s place because we had commitments to move further North to meet friends. Otherwise we would have definitely stayed longer, it’s a great site and Peter is very accomodating.
It has a beautiful and expansive river frontage, plenty of space and some well positioned tables and fire pits to be used.
Of the Hipcamp’s we stayed at on our recent trip this would be our favourite and well worth a stop!

Great for Winter.
Not suitable for Summer with only one access point to swim, however in front of other camp sites so it felt intrusive to go swimming, or be stared at by the campers.
Potentially may return in Winter.

Thanks Peter for a relaxing stay. So much space to choose from...even at new year it wasn't crowded. Also thanks for putting on a Nye get together. Sorry we didn't make it down for your meet and greet. Great quiet spot. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful spot!!
River views, all flat sites perfect for our roof top tent set up.
So many friendly four legged campers enjoying their best lives. Would definitely recommend if you're camping with your dog or just enjoy having dog neighbours for pats.

Very beautiful and relaxing property. There was plenty of room so hardly heard the other campers. Just the lovely background noise of australian bush wildlife.
