You will need to be self contained at the moment. Pick up supplies in Forster, Raymond Terrace etc. The site has good access, no problem for 2WDs to large caravans. Please read the full description before you book. Ta. The land is about 650 metres. It is in a residential street (houses each side). It is a gentle slope down from the street where you park to where the level camp site BUT I do not recommend driving down to the level camping area. Even in a 4 wheel drive cars have been stuck and if it's been wet or even if it's dry, you will be stuck and I have no way of helping you. It's about 20 steps from the street to the camping area. Easy walk. If you have a car/truck with the camping arrangement on your roof, this site is not for you. Sorry. Level area for camping is about 220m with water and power plus a 8m x 2.5m cabin for hanging out in the day, storage in wet weather. The cabin is about 25 steps further down from the camping. It is a gentle slope to get to. The outlook is lovely. The land is just 500 steps from Smiths Lake. The photo of the lake is the spot. It doesn't look that good every afternoon. That was one of those super magic sunsets; but it's often amazing. Town water is on and power is also on. Toilets are a short 3 minutes drive to the Frothy Coffee lake side with BBQ and toilet amenities

Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here. Free use of fire pits. 1st wheelbarrow of firewood is free. After that $15 for 20kg bag. Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, the rest without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people, the check in time is between midday and sunset. If you arrive after sunset make sure you have a torch. Our property is located at One Mile Beach in Port Stephens, we are on 1 acre of land and are only offering 1 site so you will have plenty of privacy. Our property is child friendly with access to our large cubby house and trampoline available. We have two friendly, placid dogs on the property and we welcome other friendly pets to the property. We are close to plenty of wonderful attractions, activities including, Quad Biking, Koala Sanctuary, Camel Rides, Sting Ray Centre and 4WD on Birubi Beach (permit required). We are a 10 minute drive from Tomaree National Park which has plenty of beautiful walks including the summit of Mt Tomaree walk. One Mile Beach is a stunning beach which is perfect for families and surfing enthusiasts. It is bordered by a large park with BBQ and playground facilities. You can also access Bennett's Head lookout from here and enjoy the stunning views.. The area is surrounded by plenty of stunning beaches which offer amazing swimming and snorkeling opportunities. Port Stephens has a number of great cafes and restaurants you can enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

I stayed at Fame Mountain Camp for my partners birthday, with a group of friends. All I can say is how beautiful not only the view was, but how lovely the hosts were as well. They took their time to greet us and give us a few options on what site to select. The campsite is very well set up, especially for beginner campers (like us), with hot water showers and flush toilets. There’s a shed of wood, with all the necessary equipment to chop it. There was a trampoline, pool table and ping pong table. And the communal area had a fridge, microwave and kettle. We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have had a better time anywhere else. Thank you so much Mei and Jon.

We were blessed with terrible weather and despite this Mei offered us shelter in the amazing amenities. Lovely to have a hot shower. I cannot stress how good the amenities are. Beautiful views. We were the only guests but I can imagine that if it’s busy you are quite close to your neighbours like at a traditional campsite.

Met Clint upon arrival he is a great guy easy to talk to and very freindly. The site was amazing great view on top of a hill. Clint provided some fire wood however we also brought good slabs of fire wood and the fire lasted us all night. Unfortunately we didnt get to feed the animals as we arrived after feeding and it was raining in the morning but look forward to next time. Access is very easy and Clint has put down road base so no worries about wet weather access. Overall very good
