This is a place to slow down, breathe out, and leave the outside world behind. 🌾 The Property Explore: 10 acres of cleared, lush open space 80+ acres of natural bushland, rainforest, and wilderness Walking and riding tracks (weather dependent) Whether you’re here for a night or a few days, it’s an ideal stop to rest your weary head in a safe, quiet, and secure environment. ✨ Stay Your Way We welcome: RVs, caravans, camper trailers, and tents We also offer on-site accommodation for those wanting a little extra comfort — including Allan's Place and GypsyBlu Studio, available to book right here through Hipcamp. 🍳 The Camp Kitchen At the heart of OKA is our much-loved “you beaut” camp kitchen, often described as the best guests have seen. A shared space to cook, connect, or simply sit and take it all in. Please leave it clean and tidy for the next kindred soul. 🌏 Location Perfectly positioned just 7km from Bulahdelah (sealed road to the gate), between Newcastle and Port Macquarie. Within easy reach: Myall Lakes Seal Rocks Forster & Port Stephens Gloucester region Beaches, lakes, mountains and bushland — all within a short drive. 🌿 The Experience This is not a caravan park. This is space, simplicity, and nature at her best. OKA is a wonderful place to stay and easily one of the cleanest and best-equipped campsites we’ve ever visited. Kelly and Rod are genuinely lovely hosts. They’re always around, quietly taking care of things and making sure the whole place is running smoothly, while also making guests feel welcome and comfortable. The setting is beautiful, and the kitchen is definitely the heart and gem of the campsite. Everything is thoughtfully set up and well maintained, and the few rules they have are clearly there to make the experience better for everyone. Our kids also had a great time, especially playing with Ruby, their very friendly and lovable dog. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

We had a lovely stay, we were greeted by Kellie despite arriving late and it was raining but she went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible! The living area is cosy and spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped

Second time at Our Kindred Acres amd again it did not disappoint. So peaceful, large enough to cater for multiple groups without being on top of each other. The camp kitchen is next level with eveything you need. Kellie, Rob and Ruby are so friendly and nothing is too difficult. Even put up with our crazy dog. Thanks for an awesome weekend

Fabulous private camping ground

This is a beautifully landscaped private camping ground catering to a maximum of eight visitor groups at any time. People are well spaced out amongst the leafy trees so it is peaceful but also quietly friendly. The camp kitchen and bathroom facilities are rustic, comfortable, clean, attractive & well equipped. We loved our camp fire. The hosts were kind & welcoming and Rod went out of his way to help us set up our electricity supply for the first time - we were 'shaking down' as other campers told us it is called, trying out our campervan for the first time. Even though it was a bit expensive, it was worth it, and we recommend this place highly. We had a great shake-down.

Allan's Place |Vintage Van Stay
Allan's Place was perfectly cozy, gorgeously decorated and very well equipped. The balcony made the space feel even larger, allowing for wonderful outdoor living. Access to a private outdoor shower with hot water and a short walk to shared toilets on the property. The grounds are beautifully kept and perfect for exploring. Pets are welcomed are are sure to love OKA! Kellie and Rod are wonderful hosts and are happy to help with any questions you have during your stay. I highly recommend Allan's Place to any single or couple wanting a peaceful, relaxing retreat!

What an amazing place! Would definitely recommend! The camp kitchen area is well stocked and is super comfortable no matter how many people are staying. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. Kellie was lovely!! Would stay again for sure.

Exceptional farmstay

We went for a shakedown trip with our new camper and were blown away by how stunning our kindred acres is. From the long wondering driveway to the rustic camp kitchen and gardens - simply outstanding.What an excellent property. So beautiful and hosts Kellie, Rod and Ruby the friendly pup made our stay so good. The camp kitchen is so well equipped there isn't a thing you would need that isn't in it. There is a slow combustion fire that we had burning the first night to warm us up inside the huge kitchen/games room whilst we are out dinner. The shower and toilet are first class with a great rustic vibe for the outdoor shower ( beautiful warm water and so fun showing under the stars with an iron clad enclosure to be private. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble for Rod or Kellie to sort out for us. We left with a dozen fresh eggs feeling so refreshed and will certainly come back again and will bring family and friends.

This place was simply outstanding. The space itself is really beautiful and spacious, being there felt very inviting and cosy. There were little enchanted walks to explore and options to make a bonfire. The beautiful and well equipped common kitchen truly was amazing. A stove and board games were provided as well. So literally evert hing you could possibly dream of for an idyllic camping trip is to be found at the kindred acres. The heart of place, however, were Kel, Rod and Ruby. Their way of caring, their generousity and kindheartedness really are exceptional. Thank you again for having us.
