Camp Kitchen is a communal area for all guests, leave clean and tidy. Leave No Trace – please take all rubbish/items and dispose correctly. Dogs on request, friendly and well behaved, restrained on arrival as we have free range chooks. Pick up dog poo and take it with you. National Parks are nearby, you should familiarise yourself with their domestic pet rules; locations, all available on the NSWNP website. Fires – on arrangement, you are welcome to bring your own firepit and firewood or OKA can supply. Before setting up, we will organise pavers and sand to ensure our grass is protected. We loved Kellie’s place, lots of space, flat grass, beautiful trees, and an incredible converted barn with a full kitchen, bbq, kids toys, couches, and everything you could need. The campsite and bookable accommodation is kind of focused around this central meeting place and it really encourages campers and guests to connect and have a shared experience if they would like, or keep to themselves if preferred, the place is big enough for that too. This was very unique for us compared with other hipcamps we’ve been to, and our 6 year old absolutely loved it (especially feeding the chooks with the caretakers kids living on site). Kellie and Rod are just the loveliest people and there was a generosity and care imbued in every part of OKA, and Kellie’s creativity expressed throughout as well through so many novel features. They’ve really created a beautiful space for people to relax and have fun.

Such a great place to camp, chill out, listen to the birds and watch the sun go down with the most amazing sky full of stars! Kellie is an amazing host, very welcoming as well as the groundskeepers. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for me and my dog 🐶

What an incredible few days we had camping at OKA, and we can't wait to return! Kellie and Rod were fantastic hosts, always quick to reply to any questions and personally greeted us on arrival to show us to our site and around the facilities, which are extensive and impressive. We travelled with our 3 young children and 2 fur babies, and what a perfect way to ease into camping life for our kids' first weekend away in the wilderness. The property itself is private, peaceful and full of charm with much to explore. The onsite facilities such as toilets, showers, shaded gardens and sitting areas, as well as the incredible bonfire and communal camp kitchen were second to none. The eye for detail is exceptional, with every possible need considered and covered, from books and boardgames available, cosy couch nooks, rustic dining areas, a BBQ and a fully stocked kitchen. Rod even kindly lent us a campfire cookstand and gloves so we could prepare meals over our campfire. Kellie and Rod have created something truly special here - not just a campsite but a beautiful little community, and it is an absolute labour of love which exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is so picturesque, the birdlife is next level and the kids absolutely loved playing with Ruby the cattle dog and throwing sticks for her, as much as Ruby enjoyed fetching them! Thank you so much for being such amazing hosts and sharing your little patch of paradise with us. We hope to see you again soon!

We had the most beautiful stay at Our Kindred Acres with our toddler and baby. Absolutely beautiful property, very well maintained, with gorgeous little dams and a great big communal kitchen and shelter with everything you need, including toys and games for the kids. Kellie and Rod were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Such a peaceful, family friendly escape. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We really loved this site, it’s a beautiful and relaxing spot. The hosts have done a great job making the site a welcoming and enjoyable place to be. Great facilities with the big communal shed, amenities were clean and well presented. We loved having a bush shower. Ruby the host dog was great company, very playful and a good natured girl. We will hopefully be able to stay again sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay at OKA! It’s a beautiful campground with a cozy communal area, where we spent some time playing games during the rain. The facilities were clean, which we really appreciated. But what truly made our stay special were the incredibly kind and generous owners, they made us feel very welcome. Stunning and immaculate property with amazing hosts Kellie and Rod! We were nestled amongst beautiful greenery that felt like we were in a rainforest - such a beautiful spot to unwind and immerse yourself into nature.

Really recommend this place. Nice well kept acreage with plenty of space. Great common camp facilities. On-site accomodation includes a restored caravan complete with own facilities and terrace- wonderfully quirky. Kelly is a great host, relaxed and helpful.

Such a wonderful place. The bushland, ammenities and friendly welcome made our stay really enjoyable. We had our dog, who loved it and it was a half hour drive to a beautiful dog friendly beach at Hawks Nest. We will be back.

Kellie and Rod accepted my last-minute booking to surprise my partner with a camping trip for his birthday and it was the perfect place to stay! Kellie and Rod are such lovely people and Ruby is such a sweet doggo. The property is beautifully maintained and staying next to the lily pond felt like we were staying at a peaceful oasis. The campsites are spread out so you can’t hear your neighbours and the camp kitchen and outdoor shower are beautifully decorated. We will definitely be coming back again with family!

What a nice place to stay , beautiful, very tidy you have everything you need there ! We wish to stay longer but it was a bit expensive for use shower and toilet ! If you have a RV best place to be . Outside shower and loo toilet ! Big kitchen and very big and nice shed ! Host wonderful thank you

The first thing you'll notice is the beautifully maintained property with attention to detail that goes above and beyond. The camp kitchen and outdoor shower are exceptional. Everything is clean and tidy and Rod and Kellie are generous and kind people who care about you enjoying your stay and just to note, they also have a cute van and a cabin for the "Non-campers" in your group. 10/10 we will be back. Thanks for a great stay, we left relaxed and rejuvenated.

Exceptionally well maintained. Camp kitchen is very well equipped. The Rustic charm is astonishing and very relaxing. Kellie & Rod are extremely helpful and very friendly. Our Kindred Acres is a credit to them and reflects all the love, vision and hard work they have put into it. Highly recommend OKA, do yourself a favour and add OKA to your travel list.

Beautiful cared for property hosted by the delightful Kellie and Rod and their onsite caretakers. Plenty of space. Our site overlooked a lake with an abundance of water Lillie’s. The camp kitchen is extraordinary, decorated with old-time farming memorabilia. The outside shower (private) and toilets were cleaned daily and spotlessly clean.

I loved this little Hipcamp and if I find myself down this way again I will definitely be staying here. It has such a relaxed vibe about it and Kellie is very welcoming and helpful. Great facilities and showering under the stars was pretty magical as well. I love waking up to fresh air and birds singing!

We really enjoyed camping at OKA. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The natural envrionment was great. I wanted a quiet location away from the main road and this was perfect for that. The facilities were really good. I definitely recommend.

A wonderful place to stay, our favourite campsite of our trip. All sites are all situated a nice distance from each other to allow privacy. We were under a lovely tree with wind chimes. There is a beautiful bridge over the lily pond and a very well appointed central kitchen area. Hosts are excellent, Rod was very kind in fixing a gas issue on our camper :).

Absolutely stunning campsite, with clean amenities and a perfect vibe. It is brought alive by all the small details that make it unique, kudos to Kellie for that! The hosts seemed so fun and they are also very kind. In the shared space, in addition to kitchen stuff, bbq etc. there are table games free to use as well as eggs and honey available for purchase... so much thoughtfulness all over OKA!

Such a beautiful spot, the place is spotless and well cared for. The camp kitchen and area is the best i have ever seen. We had an amazing few days, will be back for sure! My parents stayed in the cabin and we stayed in our camper right next door, it was perfect. Kel & Rod were amazing hosts, thank you!
