With unparalleled tranquility and pristine river views, John's campsite on the Chichester River is a top choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The campsite is frequently praised for its well-maintained grounds, clear and refreshing water, and abundant wildlife, including friendly cows that add a unique touch to the mornings. John, the host, consistently receives accolades for his friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of the local area, enhancing the overall experience. Despite one isolated concern about privacy, the overwhelming sentiment is positive, with campers eager to return for the serene environment and John's exceptional hospitality.
What a beautiful spot on the Chichester River. The river was crystal clear and very refreshing. John is an amazing host very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Will definitely return 10/10
Site was clean, very well-maintained. River was pristine. Drive in was great with a 19ft van, just take it easy as the unsealed road can get windy and narrow. Arrival was a breeze and John met us at the gate to show us to our site. He's a fantastic host. This was our first Hipcamp experience and second time ever offgrid. We'll definitely be back!
It was our first time at John's place at Glenmore. We loved it. John the host was great.
The site was clean and quiet next to the river. Lots of birds and wild life to keep you entertained. Exactly what we were after.
Morning wake up by the locals, (Cows) was a heap of fun. They were not shy in making themselves at home around our camper van.
We will definitely return.
Had an amazing stay at John’s ‘Glenmoore’. Beautiful, flat and shady campsite right next to the creek. We loved listening to the water as we fell asleep. John is a kind host who loves a chat! We’ll definitely be back 😊
John's campsites are far apart and private, you wont see any other campers.... except maybe a friendly visit from the cows in the morning. Such a nice property, the only drawback is that I didn't stay longer 💯
Absolutely loved my stay here! The riverside spot was incredibly peaceful and private. The river is clear, refreshing and enjoyed the sound of the water. The site was clean and flat, was visited by the cows, & possum. A perfect spot to unplug—can’t wait to come back! John is the best host.
Amazing quite spot by the river
Kids loved waking up in the caravan surrounded by the friendly cows. John the owner is very friendly and helpful, I highly recommend
Gorgeous private camping spot next to pristine Williams river. Amongst the scenic hills of the Chichester valley, this place is a gem. John is a great host with a wealth of information about the area and lots of stories. Peaceful with lovely walks and drives abounding in the area. Would love to stay again
We hadn’t been back to Glenmoore for a few years and as I expected, it’s still the great place that it was to camp with a terrific host. Thanks again John for a great camping experience. 10/10👌
We had such a wonderful stay at Glenmore. One of the most beautiful campsites we've stayed at, right on a crystal clear river.
Quiet and peaceful (even with my 3 kids - who loved it too) and only cows and wildlife as visitors. Would definitely come back again!
John is an amazing host. He checked in to make sure everything was ok. The spot is peaceful, shady and flat with lots of space to set up as you like. The cows are very inquisitive and friendly.
This was our second time staying at Glenmoore, we love it and will go back again. We love how private each camp site is. Absolute peace and quiet. Also enjoy chats with John.
Loved the spot, running water, cows greeting you in the morning, birds and other locals come to visit. We had a goanna visiting through the days we were there. Would go back again. Host friendly and helpful thanks john.
Great relaxing couple of days, love the peace and quiet , all three sites booked out but only saw them when driving out as good distance between sites.
Great swimming hole to cool off in as temperature was 33° in the shade.
Highly recommend
Absolutely perfect little spot for natural beauty and serenity. The creek is beautiful, clear and cold and the spot has plenty of shade through the day. John was a fantastic host and very friendly. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a secluded peaceful bush camp
