Framed by the rugged border range National Parks "Mindoo" is 1100 acres of rolling green hills dissected by the pure, cascading, waters of the Cataract River which provide a number of private riverside campsites. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others.
For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done.
Unfortunately horse riding is no longer covered by our insurance policy. You are able to bring your horses, however evidence of your own insurance policy must be provided.
Be as adventurous or as restful as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hiking, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo". All of our river sites are designated and are space apart.
As most of our sites are on the river and have farm tracks to access, if it is wet we may have to move you to a different site. 4wds are recommended for all sites and are required for some site. Please read the listing for the campsite you are wanting to book. Some of our sites do not suit caravans. All roads require high clearance vans.
If you do not like dogs or your own dogs are not very sociable Mindoo may not be the place for you. Daisy the Doodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle) and Paul the Pig Dog (a very gentle Bull Mastif/Catahoula) like to come and say hello to campers at The Park & The Junction.

100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife.
Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks.
If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider.
We only have five campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 300m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available.
Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend and the Crossing sites are only suitable for 4x4's and off-road vans / trailers.
You are a 40 minute drive from the sea (try the Shoalhaven 100 beach challenge https://www.shoalhaven.com/100-beach-challenge/ ) and just 15km from the historical town of Kangaroo Valley with its myriad of water activities, golf, wine estates, and quaint shopping. ttps://visitkangaroovalley.com.au/see-and-do/

Situated on the beautiful Wandandian Creek with 15km creek frontage, 2.5 hours south of Sydney, Babbling Brook offers ten grassed areas with an easy 3km 4WD drive to campsites. 15 mins drive to Huskisson and Sussex Inlet. We do not accommodate large groups as our focus is peace, relaxation and family friendly.
The property is home to an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, native birds and reptiles. There are also a lot of wombats so stay on the track and look for burrows.
There are many activities to enjoy including kayaking, fishing, swimming, bush walking, bird watching and 15kms of mountain bike trails.
We are pet friendly, please remember to have your pets protected against ticks.
You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet, shower and water. Please DO NOT dig toilet hole, even though you leave it covered, it doesn't take long for the foxes to dig it up and leave a real mess!! Campfires permitted in designated areas.
There is mobile reception. No shooting, archery or hunting. No trail bikes. Do not damage trees, there is plenty of firewood on the ground.

Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround.
It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views.
As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles.
Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks.
We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with.
Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

We are excited to share our piece of paradise with others. We DO have a composting toilet but DON’T have any shower facilities.
Although the creek is very close by we advise you bring your own drinking water.

Set on 4,000 acres of natural granite rock country and untouched overgrowth of lush tea tree bushlands, the sheer beauty of the land will, without a doubt, leave you breathless of its raw natural beauty.
Binghi Station surrendered to the ravaging bush fires of 2019, however, after this devastation came some much needed rainfall which brought hope; the creation of new life in the form of rich, vibrant green country not seen since the 1980’s.
You can explore endlessly on this raw outback property. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in pure wildlife beneath a million stars in the night sky.
Binghi Station is designed for the 4x4 enthusiasts. In other words we strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is very rugged and bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. Its the 4x4 adventure. We would rather talk it down than up:-)
Currently we do not recommend SUV AWD type cars due to there lower profile and vulnerability to bumps and ruts. It is doable many do it all however about driver confidence and add another upto 2hours to trip :-) We recommend parking up the top driveway and having a preplanned lift down.
BE WARNED The driveway and some tracks are rough suited for 4x4 adventure enthusiasts that like to use there pride and joy offroad gear for what its intended.
ps One thing we can say you will never get bogged on our driveway no matter the rain fall as its very compacted despite its authentic rough character.
The Secret Gorge site is suited to tents, camper trailers and smaller length caravans. All our other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers.

Highly recommend Doon Doon farmstay. We stayed at the family tree site and had a wonderfull few days there. The sound of the water running over the rocks lulls you into a blissful feeling of nature while the sky at night is a site to behold. It was boggy so be aware it may be slippery getting in after rain but well worth the effort. Bonus points in being visited by Bonnie and Gus’s the farm dogs with nothing to much trouble for the wonderfull hosts Anna and her husband who would bring down very large bags of firewood when needed.
We loved our visit and can’t wait to get back

Weekend Trip to Warning View Campground
I love the experience! We stayed at Louis, the van and it's very comfy... Perfect for a family or friends gathering where you have a base with kitchen, toilet and hot water. I was very impressed with the kitchen utensils. It's a wonderful spot right by the creek and pretty private as well. The swimming hole had a beautiful bluey water.

We stayed at Feed Flat and it was awesome. Big grassy area with all day sun and a great view of Doughboy Mountain. Little creek running through the farm to explore. The other sites were a fair distance away so felt nice and private. Anna and Tim are great friendly hosts and were very welcoming. Beautiful part of the world, definitely recommend!

3 nights at Trickling Waters Retreat
We had an amazing time at Trickling Waters! Truely private and tucketed away into nature right beside the running creek. Everything you could need was provided making our stay so comfortable!
The weather wasn't on our side for our stay but the tent was so cosy that it was never an issue, we just bundled up on the deck and in the tent listening to the rain and creek.
We will be back!

What a magnificent spot just 10 mins outside of Bulahdelah. Tranquil location smothered in such a welcoming camping location. Chooks and a lovely friendly stumpy tail catle dog named Ruby.
Kellie and Rod were perfect host and got to see them putting on a big group camping trip with Xmas in July being themesd. What efforts she showcased with the decorating. So impressed.
Wife and I have a 18 month old and the spit set up for younger family with a little fold land set up outside kitchen area right and close to the 2x chooks yards. My son was enthralled with some pats of the chooks and a an albino rabbit named mis Molly.
Wish I found this earlier… we’ll be back Kellie & Rod, thanks for sharing your slice of paradise with us.

Great spot if you are visiting the Zoo.
The sites are huge, especially site 4 that we were on. It would easily fit 4-5 caravans in it. Lance was great to communicate with. Booked site 5 but he suggested to move to another one so we didn’t get bogged after the rain they had!!!
Would stay there again.

We loved Kangaroo Creek. So peaceful. With a creek to enjoy your morning coffee beside. The kangaroos milling around, we couldn't have asked for a nicer spot. The placement of each campsite is also well thought out, plenty of privacy. Well done to the owners, this is a great spot!

This is our second time camping at CRWL. Our favourite spot is the main camp flat. It’s open for plenty of sunshine and great for solar charging. The fire pits are spread apart enough to be a large distance to the next camper. The river is sensational to swim in the summer. And in the winter you can still enjoy the river with the canoes. The toilets and showers are well maintained. Property owners Steven and Sharon are wonderful. They are always up for a chat and have a lot of historical knowledge of the region including local Aboriginal heritage.

We were looking for a quick one-night escape and honestly couldn’t have picked a better place. Kellie and Rod were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The whole place has such a peaceful feel to it. We loved wandering the nature walk, the amenities were really clean, and the shared space/kitchen were awesome. You can tell Kellie/Rod put their whole heart into this place.
And of course, Ruby, the friendly, cheese-loving dog was a warm welcome!
Such a special place to switch off and relax. We’ll definitely be back.

What a welcoming and relaxing place to camp! From the moment we arrived, Kel and Rod made us feel right at home with their genuine warmth and hospitality. They've created a truly magical place to stay, and every detail reflects the care they've put into it.
The kids loved meeting and feeding the chickens and helping collect the fresh eggs. The camp kitchen is the heart of the property—full of charm, character, and unlike anything we've experienced before.
We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Kindred Acres to anyone looking for a peaceful camping getaway. We'll definitely be back!
