Brooman rests approximately half way between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay on the fresh water section of the Clyde River. The property stretches south on both sides of the river from the Old Sawmill Town located at its northern end. Brooman is a working farm and encompasses lots of beautiful spaces, restored old buildings, two small mountains, fertile river flats, native forests, grasslands, deep water holes, tree covered rapid sections of river and sweeping views. Brooman is less than 30 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast. Shallow Crossing is 10 minutes to the south. North is Pigeon House car park, Yadboro and the base of The Castle. To the West there are hundreds of kilometres of Forestry and National Park roads through some of the most spectacular forested mountain country east of the Coastal Range. The Clyde River Berry Farm is just minutes down the road. Local fish and chips, great coffee and handmade bread is 25mins drive at Burrill Lake. Some of the best restaurants and bars on the coast are less than 40 minutes drive at Milton and Mollymook. If you are looking to relax and recharge in nature or explore amazing country, then Brooman is it.

Absolutey Breathtaking!
We visited Brooman for my partner's birthday and despite lots of uncertainty about the weather, we had the best weekend. Matt was so helpful in ensuring that we had everything we needed and was super accommodating to our needs. The spot is just breathtaking and the river is gorgeous. It's a perfect spot for all types of groups and has great accessibility to the river. We will definitely be back!

Burroman Flat Site 3 - Private Site
We loved staying at Matt's property ! It was in the shade and the land looked amazing. There is also a river behind the site. We enjoyed spending time next to the fire. We definitely recommend this place.

Burroman Flat Site 3 - Private Site
Good stay
If you follow Matt’s directions to the letter you can’t go wrong. Surprisingly Apple Maps was the closest to the directions taking you just past the main entry gate. We had the choice of sites as no one else had booked and ended up at site 8 which on reflection we should of gone to our original decision of site 3. We wanted the extra sunlight for our solar panels. Site 3 is in our opinion is the most beautiful and with the most privacy. Short walk to the toilets which are a clean and well maintained. Insect’s were an issue during the day but they are bad everywhere at the moment so not a fair reflection, backed off at night.

Mrs Myers House
The palacial home from home!
Wow what a step back in time! If you love less is best with a taste of history this house is palacial from an era gone by. Fully functioning kitchen complete with a gas oven/stove top go and make your scones or damper to feel and taste the simple comfort food your great granny would make! Flushing toilet and a shower that brings nature to you! The loft is a kids dream to sleep amongst the full moon and abundance of stars! Grab a coffee and watch the mist dissapate whilst the sun gets you in the mood to gaze further into the rolling hills and the slight afternoon breeze at wine-o’clock is a great start to those balmy nights whilst you entertain! Get a good read on the walls from newspapers of yester year….this house is truely a gem and you can look down at the town with awe and wonder! Matt has done some awsome renos and he should be so proud as we are humbled he has chosen to re ignite and bring life back to this once booming town! Matt will be the best host you have ever come accross! What are you waiting for!!!??

Riverstone Cottage
Big cottage for big families!
This is my fave cottage! Its got 2 x most comfy king size beds! The shower is stunning built out of river stones! I had 3 families stay comfortably in there! Matt is an awsome friendly host and nothing is too much trouble! He had our sites set up for our late arrival complete with campfire cracking along nicely! We had a full moon and our arrival was one of the highlights of our weekend! Everyone was stunned and couldnt wait for daylight to go exploring! Flushing toilet, kitchen ready to use with a fridge and gas stove…verandahs are ready to hang out with a bevvy or two! So bring your ingredients and start cooking whilst you gaze at a sunrise or sunset! Just divine! You will not be disappointed with this one!
