Camping with views
We loved staying at the Family Binet vineyard. Absolutely stunning views and atmosphere and we can really recommend their vine tasting. We did it twice and loved the company from Natalie and her Husband Daniel. Thank you and we will come back!

we found every aspect of our stay to be amazing - the area was beautiful, the wine tasting was so much fun and the hosts were so hospitable. Short but easy walk to amenities, super easy check in/check out. Definitely hope to return soon!

Weekend away
The Chapel Block is an amazing Hipcamp site. The views towards the mountains were breathtaking at night and early morning. Lucky to watch the hot air balloons fly over both mornings we were on site. The winery cellar door is just a 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive to use the bathroom, and is of course a fantastic spot to sample some of the wines made there. Dan and Natalie are both super friendly as are their kids and dogs. They are always up for chat if you see them in the cellar door or working around the winery. Lovedale is only a 45 minute drive from Newcastle and 10 minute drive into Cessnock if you need any supplies. You are of course surrounded by the Lovedale wineries and in a short drive you are in the heart of Pokolbin. The camp sites are also very private as you are surrounded by trees so you don't feel like you are intruding on anyone. The friendly kangaroos are also a nice touch :)

Nice open space surrounded by peaceful vistas . A lovely camping spot has been created with Pepper Trees and wooden platform beside a small dam . Attractive to Birdss and Kangaroos too.
Dan and Steve provided a comical afternoon as we enjoyed tasting their divine wines.

Camping in the vineyards.
A wonderful peaceful setting. It was magical to be the only guests in the vineyard. Huge paddock with beautiful little dam with our own extended jetty that we used to relax and enjoy the clear skies. We woke to hot air balloons drifting over the hills. We had a wonderful wine tasting with Paul. So many stories of wine and family origins. He needs to write a book. Would highly recommend. Lovely memories.
