Perfect off grid camping! All our sites are suitable for groups of friends and family that want to enjoy a few days away camping or a nice private escape for couples. Our family farm is a working cattle property where you will see cows and calves and share the space while they graze on the rolling hills. Our picturesque farm is nestled at the end of a road surrounded by Mount Jerusalem and Nightcap National Park. Our farm offers a unique camping experience where visitors can escape the hustle and bustle and relax and immerse themselves in the tranquility. Our farm is a situated approximately an hour from the Gold Coast, 40 mins from Nimbin and Murwillumbah, an hour from Byron Bay and only 20 mins from the beautiful historical village of Uki. Our farm boasts rolling hills, lush green pastures, and serene creeks and dams. Whether you’re pitching a tent or parking your caravan, you’ll wake up to breathtaking views every morning. At night, have a campfire and see the sky come alive with stars. Grab a blanket, lie back, and marvel at the constellations. Our remote location ensures minimal light pollution, making it an ideal spot for stargazers. Firewood is available for sale, please feel free to ask.

Please message us before booking this site it check on access conditions and if you are unsure if your vehicle van/trailer is suitable. The Plateau is the most amazing spot to camp. This campsite is part of a working cattle farm, so you may see cows grazing nearby. To keep the camping area clean and comfortable, we've installed an electric fence around the site to prevent cattle from wandering through, no cow poo in your camping zone! If you'd prefer to turn the fence off, there are clear instructions provided in the arrival details. You’ll still enjoy the peaceful farm atmosphere, just with a little extra privacy and cleanliness. If you’re bringing your pet along for the adventure, we strongly recommend ensuring their tick prevention is up to date. This site has the most amazing view overlooking our big dam with Doughboy Mountain and Mt Warning in the background. The site is suitable to offroad campers. In wet condition you may need 4wd to access this site. Big Dam Camp is a very secluded site situated at the back of property nestled under Mount Jerusalem & Nightcap National Park. The view is spectacular and as evening descends, gather around the communal fire pit. Roast marshmallows, swap stories, and watch the sun set. Here, the only rush is the wind through the trees, and the only deadline is the sunrise. This campsite is part of a working cattle farm, so you may see cows grazing nearby. To keep the camping area clean and comfortable, we've installed an electric fence around the site to prevent cattle from wandering through, no cow poo in your camping zone! Communication with Anna has been the highlight of this whole experience. She responded quickly, provided insight to the weather to make our stay enjoyable and less stressful (should their property be inaccessible), and even provided options at other sites to accommodate conditions. And then on top of that the camp site was AMAZING!!! It felt remote, couldn’t hear one sound of civilisation, just cows and birds. And the view was spectacular. Highly recommend for those who want offgrid goodness and great service!

Elsie's meadow was a spectacular spot! It was secluded from the other sites and the views were impressive. The site really has it all. A small creek to fall asleep to, an awesome view of the mountain and a large flat grassed area to camp on. A friendly little dog greeted us on arrival and the host had pre-purchased firewood for us and started the campfire before we arrived. Absolutely would return. Thank you for hosting us!

We had the most beautiful two-night stay and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect little getaway. As a young family, we were simply looking for somewhere to slow down, switch off and enjoy some quality time together, and we found exactly that here. It’s such a peaceful little spot, surrounded by gorgeous land and nature. There’s something really special about the feeling of being here, it was quiet, relaxed and beautiful. Our hosts were lovely, welcoming and accommodating. We felt completely comfortable from the moment we arrived and really appreciated how easy and relaxed everything was. We had the best weekend and left feeling genuinely refreshed. It felt like we’d discovered a little hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you Anna & Tim (and Gus) for such a beautiful stay, we’ll definitely be back! ❤️

The Family Tree
Highly recommend Doon Doon farmstay. We stayed at the family tree site and had a wonderfull few days there. The sound of the water running over the rocks lulls you into a blissful feeling of nature while the sky at night is a site to behold. It was boggy so be aware it may be slippery getting in after rain but well worth the effort. Bonus points in being visited by Bonnie and Gus’s the farm dogs with nothing to much trouble for the wonderfull hosts Anna and her husband who would bring down very large bags of firewood when needed. We loved our visit and can’t wait to get back 5 stars

We stayed at Feed Flat and it was awesome. Big grassy area with all day sun and a great view of Doughboy Mountain. Little creek running through the farm to explore. The other sites were a fair distance away so felt nice and private. Anna and Tim are great friendly hosts and were very welcoming. Beautiful part of the world, definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Doon Doon farm! We stayed at the creekside retreat loved the sound of the creek and beautiful view of the mountains tucked away and big spacious campsite with lovely moo of the cows passing through. Got a little stuck trying to go back up in the slosh and mud but Tim was awesome getting us out. Great place and amazing owners. 10/10 definitely will be back 😍🐮

Doon Doon Farm was Gem. Very green hilly paradise. Very secluded camp sites make this place a must go. We stayed at Natures Nest which is the back of the property, it is in my opinion the best views on the property when it’s wet. Anna was extremely flexable and easy going to deal with. It is a small working cattle farm which was awesome to see the cattle roaming.

Beautiful property , with plenty of space between campers. Every camp has a great view of the surrounding mountain range. The access was really easy and the directions were spot on. Anna is a fantastic host and was really helpful. We are already planning to get a group together to head back out.

What a little pocket of paradise tucked away at the end of the road in Doon Doon surrounded by ranges & amazing view of Mt Doughboy! Better than in pics. Not far from GC. We loved our stay. We already looked at booking whilst on the way home but the site we wanted was booked! A peaceful rejuvenating place, just what we needed. Wandered the creek looking for thunder eggs with the kids!! Great night skies for stargazing. Stopped in/out of the cute town of Uki. Hiked in Jerusalem NP. We did have a little difficulty getting level on Feed Flat site. Firewood excellent quality, worth buying from them, delivered to site, too easy! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing property. We hope to be back again soon.
