The 2WD accessible sites feature spectacular views to the right, towards Mt Panorama and Mt Horrible and towards Mt Canobolas to the left. Each campsite offers its own unique features for you to enjoy and a hand crafted pit toilet is accessible to those camped along the river bank. Better still, book into a pub crawl with Damo so you can lie back and enjoy the ride. There are plenty of opportunities for 4WDing and bushwalking in the local area. Please note campsites are non powered It is a 10 min drive from Nelligen town centre and a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience. The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream. You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water. The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region. Come camp along the beautiful Wilson River on a working cattle property. Shady, grassy campsites by a flowing river, just 25 minutes drive from Port Macquarie. Check in time is strictly prior to 7pm. The camp area includes toilets, a basic camp shed, where campers can make use of the picnic table, stainless steel food preparation bench and camp fire pit. There are only 2 sites available with power which is included in the site price. Check out our discount for single travelers and extras like eggs and firewood. Fresh honey also available sometimes during the year. Toilet block newly built. Early check in and late checkout available on request. Laundry services available on request. If you have 3 or more children please call me for a discount. Also we have a huge discount for single travels. Kids will love the farm tour (4.45pm to 5.30pm daily) for the feeding of chickens, horse, sheep and goats. It's an excellent area for mountain bike riding as well! Kayaks available for free. Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. linktr.ee/wrightyscaravans. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy. Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site. Rules: 1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 4.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times. 2. The generosity of Rick and Cheryl was outstanding. My partner and I felt safe and was greatly appreciated of the hospitality. Firewood was offered once arrived and sites were clearly marked, with supplied fire pits. We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Bundilla site 2 with power, it was a spacious grassy site close to toilets and river access. The river is amazing to swim and kayak in and was very refreshing and a great temperature! Kayaks are provided free of charge which is fantastic. The toilets are spotless and clean and we appreciated the herb garden which you are welcome to pick from. There are small fire pits for use at the camp site. Rick and Cheryl were both friendly and helpful and we'd love to visit again one day.

This would also be a perfect place for those who may live close to Sydney, needing to do a shake down trip to get familiar with their new caravan bur who could also benefit from being close to shops to get any supplies. Such a peaceful place to stay. The camping area was lovely and grassy, no bindi’s!!! Spacious sites, enough fire pits for everyone , relaxing by the river, listening to the cows was a real treat. We spent one night, but as we left we all talked about how it had felt like we had been there for days. The horses were am added bonus to our trip, so gentle and inquisitive. My friends and I (and our two dogs) had the best weekend camping at Clyde River at Ross and Lisa's property. The camping sites are very well kept, the areas nice and tidy, the space between campers is great too. Sites are flat so easy and suitable for setting up swags and tents. The toilet and shower facilities are very well clean and everything was provided. The location is perfect, we were able to get the boats in and out easily with the boat ramp on site. Highly recommend and we cant wait to come back!

Thirlmere Lakes National Park is perfect for a relaxing picnic, walk, birdwatching, and glimpse into locomotive history. Mittagong and Bowral have great wineries with restaurant/bistro. There's a range of different bushwalking trails in the region, including Starlights trail, a scenic bushwalk suited to experienced hikers, which forms part the Greater Blue Mountains trail network between Mittagong and Katoomba.
