1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or any camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time - we must know your exact numbers.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds, treat it like you would a National Park.
4. ALL WASTE must be bagged and taken off site with you. The rubbish bins in the street are not ours. They belong to the people that live in the valley. You must be prepared to take all rubbish home with you.

The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet.

Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance.
Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house.
Pets are welcome but must be kept under control.
Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place.
Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase.
Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Pets are welcome please pick up after them. All dogs from now on must be on a leash at all times as you cannot predict what other campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here.
Free use of fire pits. 1st wheelbarrow of firewood is free. After that $15 for 20kg bag.
Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, the rest without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control.
We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm.
PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents.
2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking.
3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite.
4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people, the check in time is between midday and sunset. If you arrive after sunset make sure you have a torch. If in doubt call.
5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a hill. we are creating more level campsites. Shade trees are being planted. But they are slow to grow.
6) Please check weather report a minimum of 7 days before you arrive and CANCEL your booking if you are not sure.
7) We cannot control the wind, the sun, rain, or lack of rain.

You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi.
Campers must try to be self contained bringing their own water, toilet and shower. Sorry, no caravans over 20ft. Suite solo travellers, couples wanting a quiet weekend and LGBT friendly. We are only 10 minutes from Lake Jindabyne – turn left to head up to the mountains (a further 30 minutes to Thredbo or Perisher) or right to explore Jindabyne township and its boutiques, breweries, cafes and cinema. Stop in at The Station Resort on the way back from the mountains, just five minutes away for a nice feed and game of pool (during winter).
Our property is on a hill with a dam midway up if you’re looking for a nice walk. Do a loop for spectacular views! Come and enjoy the beautiful outlook and natural wildlife. Rest in peace and privacy or get out to enjoy all the Snowy Mountains has to offer. Whether you come for snow sports, water sports, biking, hiking, yoga or reading – adventure and relaxation awaits.
Access to all sites is via a tree-lined driveway. To get to the western paddock and Sunset, Pine View and Hilltop sites, the turn off the drive to get through the fence means that small to medium setups are suitable. To get to the eastern paddock and Sunrise and Birch Grove sites, the turn off the driveway is a bit wider to allow for larger setups. Please check the details for size recommendations – the maximum sizes listed are for your total setup, including your car and anything towed.
The sites at the bottom of the property closest to the road have easy access and more protection in windy weather, but if you have a 4WD and are wanting to sit and enjoy the 360 degree rural views then head up the hill to our Hilltop site.
We can supply firewood, kindling and fire starters for a small fee, just message us in advance, or you can BYO. Strictly no foraging for wood from the property please. There’s also no power hookups, taps or toilets so it's fully self-sufficient camping. For the peace of other campers, we don't allow generators or pets, sorry.

Just nearby, Riverside Café is ideal for fresh coffee, breakfast or a casual lunch in a peaceful riverside setting.
The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream.
You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water.
The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region.
Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper).

Our camping sites are located far enough from each other so that we can offer complete privacy during your stay where you will have no other campers around you for literally kilometers. You can see more of our property by searching 'River Camping Ashford Dan Proud'.Our part of the Severn River offers many large fishing holes with excellent fishing for Murray Cod, Yellow Belly and Catfish, we request that you only catch and release please. The river is also great for kayaking, swimming and boating and has very large areas of small rapids along river.Relax around the fire pit in the evenings and enjoy our beautiful sunsets and star gazing, in the mornings you can enjoy the sounds of the beautiful bird song. The area is abundant with wildlife, including native birds, platypus and koalas.We are also located only 10kms from Pindari Dam which is another great spot for all water based activities. We are 10kms from Pindari Adventure Park which is a great spot to take kids. We are 25kms from Macintyre Falls and the Kwiambal National Parks which has a number of beautiful walks you can enjoy. Ben Falls, Goat Rock, Reedy Creek Winery and Zappers Winery are all close by as well.Campers must stay within the designated camping area whilst on the property.We have provided a fire pit for your enjoyment and can arrange firewood to be available upon request. Campers must be fully self sufficient and take all waste with them on departure.

Located on the stunning Tumut River, where River Red gums are scattered though out the camp,offering shade, privacy, and comfort. Here you have clear Snowy River water at your doorstep. It's so fresh we drink it!
Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level.
You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking.
We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking.
Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended.
During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. Enjoy a local brew and bite to eat at the Tumut brewery. Bahwidgee is just 3km from the Tumut town centre - so close you could ride in, or even walk.

Bundilla is an amazing campsite. We camped in a group of 5 families with small children and booked sites 1 & 2 and congregated together on those sites. Sites were tidy, facilities clean and plenty of room for activities. Cheryl and Rick are very accommodating and wonderful hosts. We will be back for sure.

Mei has put so much effort and attention to detail into her land to make it the best accomodation ever! The toilets and showers are impeccable, clean, private and easy to access with a range of options. Sites are flat, with your own fire pit and each have gorgeous views. There is so much to do at Fame Mountain; having access to the shed with a ping pong table, pool table, fridges, couches and tables made it a great place to chill, have fun and meet other campers. Mei has made this feel like more of a resort than camping! 10/10 would recommend.

We had the best 4 nights here and could have easily stayed longer. Cheryl and Rick are wonderful hosts and the camp ground was so tranquil and quiet.
We particularly loved how generously spaced out the sites were and the ability to have a fire is a nice touch on a pretty landscape.
It was fun to feed the animals and Cheryl even let us pick some fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden.
Highly recommend this place, run by such lovely people.
We would definitely recommend this place and will most certainly return.

Louise is a lovely, welcoming host who goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The grounds and amenities are spotless, well maintained, and everything is kept to a high standard. My children had an amazing time riding their push bikes around safely and spending hours fishing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was a peaceful, family-friendly place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and welcoming place.

Beautiful spot right next to dinner amazing natural features including a wonderful little creek. The facility's are very clean and in fantastic condition. The location is well signposted and easy to find. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The sites are flat and dry and have their own fire pits. Well worth a visit!

Such a beautiful little stretch of the Wilson River, crystal clear water and a magnificent starry night sky.
We are really grateful to wonderful and friendly hosts, Cheryl and Rick for giving us access to their well manicured River flat paddock.
I’d strongly recommend adding a load of two of wood to your order along with some farm fresh eggs as the hosts also supply fire pits for each of the generously proportioned sites. Plenty of room for even the biggest vans.
We can’t wait to get back out here in Summer to spend a little more time in the swimming holes along the River.

Beautiful serene river with free kayak rentals, a great communal bbq area, very clean toilets and a dishwashing station, lots of firewood available for purchase- absolutely everything you need. Friendly staff.
Wide open spaces with incredible stargazing. The Milky Way!
Peaceful.
Creek walk to a waterfall - need gum boots to wade up the creek.
Great facilities including:
- hot, clean showers and bathrooms with shower gel, shampoo and hand wash provided
- laundry with detergent
- camp kitchen with various equipment, crockery etc
- outdoor shelters with tables and chairs, and fairy lights at night
- fire pits
- power (if you need electric hook up)
- kids playground
