The natural beauty of the camp site and the hot tub were amazing. Daniel and Kristy were welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. We definitely recommend this spot and will be coming back!

Rocky River Glamp Tent
We stayed here during the school holidays of June 2024 and loved it! We loved the convenience of having everything we need like hot shower, toilet, cooking and grilling, a bed, yet feeling far away from everyone. We didn’t have any neighbours. Our dogs were freely roaming around. The deck with a hammock near the river became our spot. We are with Optus and there is no reception at the site but we walked up a bit and managed to connect when we needed to connect to the internet. The cherry on top were the lovely hosts. Daniel was easy to talk to and responds timely. Kristy was our hero at the site, helping us with all of our concerns. We were already planning our return whilst we were there. Will definitely come back!

This would have to be one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. Everything you need is there and only need to pack your food and clothes 👏🏻 Kristy and Daniel were excellent at communicating before and during our stay. Absolutely loved it!!

Amazing getaway
Absolutely awesome getaway for the family and your pets, Offering a blended scenery of bush with a stunning backdrop of the water was soo tranquil. The Hot tub was a hit with the kids as the river was abit too cold during our stay. We would definitely recommend Eagle Ridge to others and will definitely be back in the summer months too. Thank you Daniel and Kristy, what a amazing paradise you have.

Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat, Tabulam
Stunning natural space
Spectacular place. Just incredible. Amazing hosts and fabulous camp area. Definitely need a 4WD to get down and up the very steep road but totally worth the anticipation. We had rain for a couple of days which made the drive back up the mountain a little more adventurous. You wouldn’t want to be carrying a heavy trailer that’s for sure. We had the place to ourselves which was special and loved the company of rock wallabies who live in the caves opposite our camp place. This would be a mega fantastic place in summer with the creek running. Thankyou to Daniel and Kristy for sharing their special place.

Highly recommend
Thank you Dan & Kristy for allowing our family of 6 plus 2 fur babies enjoy your beautiful space.
We were welcomed to a lovely setup with the glamping tent and outdoor kitchen. Everything we would have needed was provided. Only staying 2 nights though, we hoped for longer!
Things I would keep in mind when booking again;
- Optus has almost zero coverage so Telstra it is. Otherwise we survived and really enjoyed being completed unreachable.
- If you are with Optus, read the instructions provided prior and make sure you call as soon as you turn into the road to alert of your arrival as your connection will drop out soon after
- USB options only if you require recharge
- Water shoes are a must. The river is stunning but slippery
- Be prepared for sand, kids loved it so it was a welcomed surprise
- I read reviews so was prepared to come without our trailer as the road to the site is steep and rocky.
- There’s no bathroom door or curtain, didn’t bother us but for our teenage girl, we utilised a towel as a barrier.
We would definitely be back in the summer sometime!
