Rocky River Glamp Tent
We had the best time and an amazing long weekend getaway at Eagle Ridge. The site was private, our glam tent super comfy and spacious but the views, the river and the natural beauty of the area was the standout! Floating down the mini river rapids is a must and a definite highlight. Then, chilling on the deck by the river with a drink in the afternoon and sitting by the camp fire at night made the stay super relaxing. Private loo and shower 👍. I could go on forever!
The camp itself has everything you need.
Just bring your food and drinks. Kristy and Dan have created the perfect glamping experience on a spectacular piece of land. Thank you 😊.

Gorgeous spot
My partner and I agreed this was the best Hipcamp spot we’ve visited :) So beautiful, rugged and remote, but not so remote as the village is only 15 mins or so from camp. The only thing for us was the track down was steeper more rugged (there had been a lot of rain the week before) and how our AWD lower, than we realised. The depth of quiet and “million miles away feeling” was worth it for sure. Our 2 dogs had blast also. Thank you for sharing your land with us Daniel and Kristy!

Heaven on the Timbarra river.
Eagle ridge bush retreat sits in a valley on the timbarra river. As you descend down the access track you catch a glimpse of what a spectacular part of the countryside you will get to experience.
The very private tree lined camp sites feel like you are the only people for miles.
The river is absolutely stunning! Crystal clear water with beautiful boulders and rock formations with a sandy base so very easy on your feet.
The hosts were absolutely amazing and happy to help out to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
While we were there the weather turned and rained a lot....
The river rose a little bit but not enough to be any risk to us whatsoever.
The only issue we had was when it was time to leave. The first part of the climb out up the access track is very muddy / clay and slippery.
I was admittedly towing a caravan which was what caused the issue in the first place.
My van slid sideways up against the bank (thankfully not off the side) causing me to get stuck.
A quick call to our hosts and they were straight down to help out and get us up the hill to the top. ( I know this is usually worth a carton, but unfortunately I was flush out of beer , next time I come I will bring one for services rendered 😉)

Great spot to stay to get away from everything. Only stayed one night as we were passing through but had a nice riverside spot. Water was flowing a little more than usual due to recent rain so we didn't swim. Host met us and took us down to our spot.
