Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level.
You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking.
We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking.
Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended.
During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. Enjoy a local brew and bite to eat at the Tumut brewery. Bahwidgee is just 3km from the Tumut town centre - so close you could ride in, or even walk.

100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife.
Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks.
If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider.
We only have five campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 300m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available.
Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend and the Crossing sites are only suitable for 4x4's and off-road vans / trailers.
You are a 40 minute drive from the sea (try the Shoalhaven 100 beach challenge https://www.shoalhaven.com/100-beach-challenge/ ) and just 15km from the historical town of Kangaroo Valley with its myriad of water activities, golf, wine estates, and quaint shopping. ttps://visitkangaroovalley.com.au/see-and-do/

Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, the Upper Murray is a great area for canoeing and kayaking, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails.
The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site.
Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. We provide a toilet at each location, for your convenience and the cleanliness of the camp site in general. Nothing but your human deposit and toilet paper in the toilet please. No disposable wipes, nappies etc. Please put these in your trash. Also, bring your drone but use it only over locations that are not occupied.
Our own beef and local lamb is also now available to purchase. And, again, wood for purchase if you don't want to gather your own. Please see "Extras"

Also please note that due the closure of the Great Western Highway there is currently an increase in traffic volume going past our property. Our usually quite nights are not as quiet. The campers I have had since this has happened did not seem to be too impacted by it, but if you are wanting complete quietness then maybe wait until the Highway is re-opened.
Our property is located in the Blue Mountains, nestled right in the middle of the national park and all that the Blue Mountains bush has to offer. Gums, ferns, fresh air and swimming holes.
I only allow one group to camp at any one time per site. Other groups will be well away from you. However the dam is available for everyone to use. I adjust each booking with each group depending on size of the group and time of year. I also hold large events so will book out the entire site for large groups.
Just a short drive from Sydney (1 ½ hours from Parramatta) but a world away with its ancient forests and meandering pathways. All photos are from the site or within a 2km walk of the camping site in National Park or reserve. Please note that the canyon photos are from a spot that is very difficult to get to.
I welcome self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. However there are facilities on site for smaller groups at an extra cost.
The property offers a number of sites that can accommodate various group numbers. Please message me if you're interested in booking one or more listings for your special get together.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, but no cats please. Also please be aware that we are surrounded by nature and part of nature are the snakes and ticks.

He is very social and friendly however. please supervise small children at all times, if your dog is not familiar with livestock please do not allow them to roam or have them tied up so they do not chase him! Please only feed him apples, carrots or lettuce/ cabbage leaves

Our property contains the first road in and out of Colo - the original road is supported by hand built dry rock walls some of which are over 3 m high. Often referred to as convict built, but more likely built by freemen who were former convicts.
The property housed the load master's residence who controlled the cargo boats that docked to collect the valley’s produce. This was then transported back down the Colo River which flows into the Hawkesbury river and leads to Broken Bay following the coastline down to Old Sydney Town. The beach diagonally across the river was landed upon by members of the First Fleet’s exploratory scouting party on the lookout for quality farm land - some of which is still in production today.
Our property is on the uppermost reach of freshwater but with tidal influence. This deep water allows swimming and canoeing all year round. Our property is adjacent to the only council built canoe launching facilities on the Colo River.

Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. The swimming dam is not chlorinated and acts as habitat for numerous frog species. Please don't expect clear blue water as some algae is a natural part of the ecosystem.
A wood fired sauna can be used with assistance from the owner and a fee to cover time and wood to get it going.
There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements.

There is good access for caravans and campers - to get to the property is all tarred roads, with no gates to open, just a cattle grid to cross.
The camping area is spread over a beautiful, wide green grassed space, with plenty of level ground.
Fire pits are provided bring your own wood. Do not light fires outside of fire pits unless you have an above ground fire pit of your own. Under no circumstances tip fire ashes over river bank put all ashes into large round below ground fire pits. Near toilets.
There is an abundance of bird life here, including our pet emu Pepper who roams freely, occasional visiting kangaroos and cattle moseying down in the afternoon sunset to drink from the river opposite.

Explore six kilometres of driving tracks, abundant wildlife, large granite rock formations and spectacular views. All sites are well marked and have fire pits.
Our most popular campsite, as voted by campers, is Campers Den.
The site with the best views (although I may be biased!) is Kooyong.
Firewood is scattered around the property, so feel free to help yourself. Revelstone offers six kilometres of tracks to explore, with amazing rock formations throughout. Please remember to leave all gates as you find them, whether open or closed.
Wyangala Dam and village are nearby, offering water sports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and backwaters. Cowra township is a 20-minute drive away and well worth a visit.
The Reflections Holiday Park shop at the dam offers general supplies, coffee and hot food.
Revelstone Mountain Camps offers camping with fantastic views and plenty of space for scenic hikes. There's lots of wildlife, including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes.
There are 14 designated camping areas to choose from. You might also like to try the Revelstone Tepee Tent adventure or the Twin Hammock Camp.
Please do not cut down or use any standing trees, even if they appear dead, as they are part of the mountain landscape.
Phone reception and internet access are available at the mountain sites and some base camp sites.
Facilities and important information
Our campsites are best suited to self-contained campers with their own camping equipment, toilet/shower facilities and water supply. However, communal toilets, showers and a camp kitchen are also available. Please refer to the price guide for any applicable facility charges.
Pets are welcome, but please keep them on a lead when livestock are nearby, as we have plenty of animals wandering around the property.
Revelstone is a fully fenced working farm. Please ensure all gates that are closed are shut again after entering or leaving.
Each campsite offers plenty of privacy and space, with no immediate neighbours.

A beautiful eco-friendly property with lovely water holes and running water from the river where the environment is safe. Pitch your tent or drive in your camper van in a secluded area with lots of trees and natural environment where birds can wake you with their morning songs

A beautiful stroll to the nearby river is a wonderful experience as you explore, swim, canoe, Kayak or float down the river (1.2 klm) in the beauty of nature around you. You can even throw a line in and you might catch a fish. There is a lovely covered platform you can sit on as you reflect. If you are quiet enough you might see a platypus or two or catch a fish.

Children 3 and under stay free and do not need to be included in your guest headcount.
The road is a dirt road, please check local weather prior to arrival, ground may be soggy if it's been raining recently.
When it rains, some of the areas may get muddy. Please reach out to Host with any questions about this.
There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's.
Trash & Rubbish Policy: We do not have facilities to dispose of camper rubbish. All guests must pack out and take all trash with them upon checkout. A $50 fee will be charged for any rubbish left behind on the property.
There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season.
A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime.
The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened.
Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by.
The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know.
The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer.
Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed.
We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one.
If you arrive without placing a booking, you will be turned away. Please use the directions sent to you after placing a booking to stay at this property.

We’ve stayed at Oasis of Hope before and were so happy to be back! It’s such a peaceful, family-friendly spot and the perfect place to switch off, relax and enjoy some time away together.
The amenities are great, with toilets, showers and laundry facilities, which makes camping with kids that much easier. It’s also close enough to Coffs Harbour for day trips, with so much to explore in the surrounding area.
We’ve loved our stays here and would definitely recommend Oasis of Hope to other families looking for a peaceful camping getaway. We’ll happily be back again! 🏕️❤️

The property is well maintained with a small creek next to campsite 2. The kids enjoyed playing by the stream and the extensive grassed areas to kick a ball around. We didn’t use the facilities much as we are fully set up off grid, however there was access to bathrooms, hot showers, a laundry, covered seating areas and camp kitchens in different areas of the property. Campsite 1 looked like it would have been a nicer spot to set up however it is currently closed.
We have a 19ft caravan and had no problems towing it to the campsite. I’m glad we arrived prior to the long weekend as it did get quite busy over the long weekend and would have been more difficult.
We only spoke with one of the caretakers, Donald, who was really helpful.
Be prepared for a long and challenging trek if you plan on walking to the waterfall. We had kids ages 5, 6 and 8 and it took 1 hour, 40 mins each way. The river was flowing well, so it may have been quicker with less rain. There is no path, just rock scrambling the entire way. It was worth the hike, just make sure you take plenty of snack and water if doing it with kids.

Thanks so much to Stuart and Sushi (his beautiful and very friendly and social dog).
We thoroughly enjoyed our little mini break and was just what we needed to unwind.
We were lucky enough to grab a spot down near the creek and pecan trees which was very private and beautiful - 4WD is recommended.
There are other beautiful spots which are very easily accessible and do not require a 4WD.
We will absolutely be recommending Stuart’s property to our friends and will be back.

Lovely, peaceful campsite surrounded by nature. We stayed for a couple of nights and really enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere, with scenic walks and tracks just a short distance away. Our host, Stuart, was very friendly and welcoming. We would happily stay again! 🌿⛺

Absolutely Beautiful location, we loved the creek walk. Good facilities. We camped at the powered site, nice a spread out area. We did not realise there were no bbq’s but Lars set us up with a fire pit and grill to cook our dinner over the fire which was perfect.

We highly reccomend this campsite as it is close to town, directions there are clear and it is very easy to drive in and park up. The setting is pretty on the river and the grounds are well maintained. The extra provision of fire pits and toilet add value to the stay. It would be a restful stay for a few days which we will keep in mind for our next trip as this time it was a late arrival and early exit.

Absolutely beautiful serene very remote Aussie bush camping, with plenty of room to yourself and river running beside your camp.
We stayed at the "Lila" camp and loved that we had some cows pass through both days.
There was no 100% level spot for our big tent but we were still super comfy.
Only downside is the track in and out - it definitely is a 4WD track and you're in trouble if you want to pop out in a hurry or if someone is coming the other way; , one of you would have to back out and it's a long way in. Apparently the owners are wanting to fix the road in and possibly make a second track in which would make this place perfect. Getting in and out was the only downside to this place; it really is a bit of a mission and it would be a nightmare if a vehicle came the other way.
Overall you couldn't imagine a better place to camp in the bush, we loved our time there as did our dog. It was great to see nobody and to be disconnected from technology.
If you're looking to really get away from it all, you'll love it here.

.Stayed two nights in our van and basically had the whole place to ourselves. Such a peaceful spot, while still being close to town and plenty of local sights. Chester was in the paddock behind us and definitely enjoys a scratch — but very much on his terms 😂 If you’re travelling with kids, just keep an eye on them around him as he did get a little nippy at times.
