It's so fresh we drink it! Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level. You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking. We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking. Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended. During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. There are also some beautiful swimming spots and walks to discover in the region, as well as good facilities in town, including the local swimming pool and shopping centre. 100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife. Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have five campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 300m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend and the Crossing sites are only suitable for 4x4's and off-road vans / trailers. Also please note that due the closure of the Great Western Highway there is currently an increase in traffic volume going past our property. Our usually quite nights are not as quiet. The campers I have had since this has happened did not seem to be too impacted by it, but if you are wanting complete quietness then maybe wait until the Highway is re-opened. Our property is located in the Blue Mountains, nestled right in the middle of the national park and all that the Blue Mountains bush has to offer. Gums, ferns, fresh air and swimming holes. I only allow one group to camp at any one time per site. Other groups will be well away from you. However the dam is available for everyone to use. I adjust each booking with each group depending on size of the group and time of year. I also hold large events so will book out the entire site for large groups. Just a short drive from Sydney (1 ½ hours from Parramatta) but a world away with its ancient forests and meandering pathways. All photos are from the site or within a 2km walk of the camping site in National Park or reserve. Please note that the canyon photos are from a spot that is very difficult to get to. I welcome self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. However there are facilities on site for smaller groups at an extra cost. The property offers a number of sites that can accommodate various group numbers. Please message me if you're interested in booking one or more listings for your special get together. Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, but no cats please. Also please be aware that we are surrounded by nature and part of nature are the snakes and ticks. - we need to keep this environment for the wildlife. Please take all your belongings and rubbish with you when you leave. Leave it better than as you found it. Please be aware that due to our proximity to the road and rail that at times you will hear some traffic noise. But most times it is very quiet except for the frogs.

We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin National Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches. Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. The swimming dam is not chlorinated and acts as habitat for numerous frog species. Please don't expect clear blue water as some algae is a natural part of the ecosystem. A wood fired sauna can be used with assistance from the owner and a fee to cover time and wood to get it going. There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. WE ARE NOW CLOSED FOR WINTER. OPEN AGAIN OCTOBER 1 2026. Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, the Upper Murray is a great area for canoeing and kayaking, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails. The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site. Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. We provide a toilet at each location, for your convenience and the cleanliness of the camp site in general. Nothing but your human deposit and toilet paper in the toilet please. No disposable wipes, nappies etc. Please put these in your trash. Also, bring your drone but use it only over locations that are not occupied. Our own beef and local lamb is also now available to purchase. And, again, wood for purchase if you don't want to gather your own. Please see "Extras" We are open from October to April.

There are 14 designated camping areas to set up your camp, or why not try the Revelstone TEPEE TENT adventure, or maybe the TWIN HAMMOCK camp. please do not cut down or use any standing trees even if they look dead as they are a mountain feature. Once your booking has been placed, if you do not hear from me within ten minutes, please give me a ring on the provided phone number. Please note: The road is a dirt road, please check local weather prior to arrival, ground may be soggy if it's been raining recently. When it rains, some of the areas may get muddy. Please reach out to Host with any questions about this. There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's. There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season. The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by. The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know. The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer. Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed. We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one. If you arrive without placing a booking, you will be turned away. The Hartley Vale Garlic Farm was established in 2018 as an organic garlic farm now owned by James and Michelle and their two children. The farm features a hempcrete building named 'The Stinking Rose' used for drying and curing garlic, that also acts as a big room for garlic feasts during planting (March, April and May each year). The building also houses toilet and shower facilities for guests when camping on site. On some evenings, the sky puts on a real show of golden sun rays with pink, purple and blue clouds while swallows flit across the garden beds catching moths. Our guests like to sit around their campfires watching the spectacular show while kids and dogs run around without the burden of leashes or noise of city traffic.

Our property contains the first road in and out of Colo - the original road is supported by hand built dry rock walls some of which are over 3 m high. Often referred to as convict built, but more likely built by freemen who were former convicts.  The property housed the load master's residence who controlled the cargo boats that docked to collect the valley’s produce. This was then transported back down the Colo River which flows into the Hawkesbury river and leads to Broken Bay following the coastline down to Old Sydney Town. The beach diagonally across the river was landed upon by members of the First Fleet’s exploratory scouting party on the lookout for quality farm land - some of which is still in production today.  Our property is on the uppermost reach of freshwater but with tidal influence. This deep water allows swimming and canoeing all year round. Our property is adjacent to the only council built canoe launching facilities on the Colo River.

Some of our campsites/ Van sites DO NOT come with facilities. PLEASE READ THE SITE description carefully. We have 1 powered site that is power ONLY on (OUR DAM ) site. No toilets, showers, kitchen or pool access . You need to be fully self contained. In this area All other ECO AREAS have Hot Shower and flush toilets and some with a fire pit . Some Campsites are in our lovely small manicured bush garden setting. It's a level, grass/lawn shaded area. There are 4x 15 amp powered sites. Suitable for small quiet groups/ families. NOT suitable for loud partying. Hot shower and toilets The state forest is a short 10min drive away for bush walking, mountain biking and 4 wheel driving. Beach is 40 min drive away. We are located close to the Central Coast and Newcastle. (In Cooranbong ) Some of our camp sites have access to three flush toilets and only one shared shower, rubbish facilities and drinking water. (Campfires) we have 5 fire pits on some of our sites , fires are permitted during the winter months. We also have 2 x 4 star cabins which sleep 15 between them, they are listed separately on Hipcamp. However the guests from both the camp sites and the cabins have shared access to the pool and facilities. Which includes a large under cover patio area. FRIENDLY PETS welcome. On certain camp sites our small kitchen with microwave dishwasher and cook top and fridge may be used . Please just clean up any mess you make. For the next guest All cleaning products under sink. WE HAVE 2 DOGS that are people friendly., who love to meet new fury friends , they do have the run of our property . As our property has a lot of maintenance lawns /gardens ; we may use mowers blowers etc , we will possibly maintain between 10 am to 2 pm If needed. WE HAVE A LOT OF WALLABIES RUNNING AROUND PLEASE DRIVE TO 5 KILOMETRES

This was a lovely place to camp. Beautiful views. It is set up with a fire pit. We stayed on the lower camp spots as we had a 21ft caravan. Easy access and even after 24 hours of rain we got out without any trouble. We took a walk up to the top where the 4WD access camps are and it is stunning, maybe next time we will just bring our tents 😊.

Very lovely secluded property. The camp spots are very private and spacious. We stayed at Sunset which is pretty much a bush clearance and not much to look at during the day but is quite nice around sunset and dusk. The stars and the views of the gorge (a short walk) are spectacular. A bit over priced but I’d still recommend.

We had such a lovely stay! The property is a beautiful spot, and we especially loved relaxing in the sauna followed by a refreshing dip in the creek — such a great way to unwind. Stuart was a fantastic host: welcoming, accommodating and always happy to help. He even came to our rescue when our 2WD got bogged in the mud, which definitely wasn’t part of the plan! A 4WD is necessary especially in rain season. We really appreciated how well he looked after us throughout our stay. Thanks again, Stuart, for a wonderful stay. We’d happily come back and would definitely recommend it to others!

Really nice, tidy campground and overall a lovely spot to stay. The grounds were peaceful with plenty of wildlife around, and the donkeys were super cute! Would have been great to have a hot water shower, especially considering the price of the campsite. We felt it was a little expensive for the facilities provided. The only other downside was a nearby campsite running a generator for hours, which was pretty annoying when we were there to enjoy the peace and quiet. We ended up contacting the host, who thankfully sorted it out. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful spot with lovely grounds and lots of wildlife. A hot shower and clearer rules around generators would definitely make it even better!

Booked this for my partner and this was their review: Wonderful secluded spot with picturesque views of the creek. Access is easy going in dry weather for a well prepared 2wd ute or van with high clearance. Facilities at the site include utility tank water, table, bench seats, elevated fire pit, and a hot tub. Likewise, there is sufficient distance between sites for a good degree of privacy and peace. Also, the WiFi access available at the shed is a handy feature to stay in contact with home if the need arises. Greatly enjoyed my 2 night stay, and I intend on returning.

What a stunning spot! We stayed at the Sunrise camp which was private and tranquil. The host had recently placed a porta loo close by which was also very convenient. Found it very tricky to peg in our tent and tarp due to the ground being very rocky and also very loose at times. We got around this in the end and had a lovely stay in any event.
