NSW Ski Gardens is situated on the banks of the Hawkesbury River at Wisemans Ferry. Every October - April is our peak time and its busy! Please be aware there is river noise during our busy times on weekends so may not suit those looking for tranquillity on weekends. During the week it's fine but weekends are busy and a bit noisy. We are 1.2 km from the township along the River Road. There are powered and unpowered sites for caravans and campers set in a rustic location. Amenities include hot showers, laundry, on-site kiosk and boat ramp (fee applicable). BBQ and covered picnic area. Dogs are welcome on leash. Firewood is available for purchase on-site.

NSW Ski Gardens - Access To Power
Great place to camp- the shelter, water, power, fire pit and facilities meant that we won’t need to bring much in the future. River is quiet for kayaking and fishing

We have just arrived home after the most amazing 4 nights of camping! Christine & Digger were great hosts, we had a really enjoyable and relaxing few days. The camping spot was beautiful - right on the river, extremely tranquil which really allowed us to truly relax and enjoy time together as a family. Bonus points for allowing dogs, our little pug had a great time! Also having the fire pit there for us to use, truly made whole camping experience - toasting marshmallows at night while listening to the nature sounds all around us - amazing! The site was powered with water and a great undercover area on a concrete slab, with table and chairs with a handy light for night time. We had quite heavy rain and a storm during our stay so having the undercover area was brilliant to keep all of our kit dry. The facilities were very clean and just a short walk from the site. I cannot recommend this place any higher, we will most definitely be back again, thank you Christine & Digger 😊

NSW Ski Gardens - Access To Power
Great option for a local getaway
Easily accessible sites right by the water.. existing shelters which are a bonus.. if you have a boat even better with the boat ramp in the centre of the place

NSW Ski Gardens - Unpowered Camping
Camping with a view
Nice place with a lovely view along the lake! Nice location to chill and have quality time! I would suggest that they offer some water activities at their office which would just add extra fun to it (especially for campers such as my group that do not have any gear such as Kaiak, paddle, etc..…) Additionally, It would be good to have a water tab closer to the sites. Besides of that, I’d say everything was amazing! The place is well located close to the mountains & river, the bright sky at night, firepit! An amazing place that I would definitely recommend and come back to… ✨

Nice little spot next to the water, wasn’t too busy and staff were super friendly. Lovely little trip out of Sydney.
