Wonderful private set up. Campers all have their own spaces across the farm, so we enjoyed the privacy. Hosts and all staff were really helpful. Good facilities- and wonderful fruit. Also, lovely to see the farm animals too. They even have a café and coffee 😀

We had a very peaceful couple of days here. Big open areas and amazing lakefront views. Christine was very welcoming and loves to stop for a chat. Toilet block is older but clean. Highly recommend if looking for a peaceful haven.

Weekend Trip to Canoelands Orchard Camping

For a quick weekend getaway with kids, this camp location is highly recommended. There was just enough to entertain my two kids with the pigs, goats and guinea pigs. We also trek downhill on the steep slope to the dam. The highlight of this campsite was picking and purchasing the in season nectarines and peaches of course! I highly recommend Canoeland Orchard camping and would definitely go there again.

Debbie is very caring and gave sufficient details on how to get to the campsite. She messaged me on the morning to ensure she can accomodate our arrival. The site i quiet and low density (only 5 sites and we don't really meet the ppl in other campsite) To reminded that you need to bring all the drinking/cooking water as there is no tap for the camper. we enjoy it and what a peaceful night.

We had a lovely 2 day break with our doggies at Myrtle Ridge Farm, Hosts were very welcoming and were great to chat with. The land was fantastic, with lots of room. Lovely spot. Not too far away from Sydney but it feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The facilities are great for kids and the river is very safe for them and dogs. Great location if you dont want to travel too far. Lots of animals on site too. Kept our 6 year old entertained. We'll be back 🙂

Amazing secluded campsite at night. Busy during the day with visitors fruit picking the orchard next to site. Beautiful Farm get away nice and close to Syd. Tractor ride & feeding animals was fun. Great Tarzan swing at dam.

A quick 5 minute walk or 10 minute drive to facilities, amenities, shop and cafe.

Camp site was nice with a beautiful view and was secluded once the fruit picking stopped which was just after check in time. The site was not too far from the toilets which was handy. The shop sold some of the best marmalade and butter we've ever tasted. It was a great experience for getting my wife into camping for the first time.

We enjoyed our stay in the orchid, there was a nice cafe, animals to feed and a tractor ride. The orchid closes at 4ish so after that we had the place to ourselves.

Canoelands Orchard Camping and Fruit Picking, is located just 1 hour from Sydney's CBD. The property is 81 acres in total with a small shop and cafe onsite. We offer pick your own fruit so are open to the public daily (closed on occasion). Trading hours can be viewed at www.bookingscanoeladns.com. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

We have cleared grassy paddocks, some shady areas, and access to the Colo River, one of the most pristine rivers in NSW. Our river access is normally shallow, well-suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a refreshing dip. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks. We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large with varying distance between each to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space. Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m. IMPORTANT: Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, with conditions, and a $20 fee applies. Please check with Hosts before booking. Once approved, please add the Pets Extra when booking. (Saturday night 2-night minimum) There is no mobile reception or internet access, therefore, providing a true off-grid retreat. Self-sufficient campers are preferred. There are fire drums available on each site, most with grill plates - subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day. There are three communal flushing toilets and two awesome hot water showers!
