One of the most private properties on the Central Coast. Unsealed, steep firetrail -4wd or Awd access only. No mobile reception, so a chance for a digital detox! Close to the Great North Walk. Pick up and drop off available for hikers. Bush shower, hand washing facilities, filtered potable rainwater for drinking, composting toilet. Only one site available, maximum eight people and two vehicles at a time. Campfires allowed when appropriate. No pets. Sheltered deck with table and chairs. Rainforest, freshwater creek, small swimming holes.Bunyip is in a private space at the back of the property, in a small paddock surrounded by forest and close to a stream. There is a sheltered deck space to sit and prepare meals, a camp shower, rainwater and a filter jug. Campfires are allowed outside of high bushfire risk periods. Guests are welcome to wander around the property.

Not far from civilisation and zero phone reception - perfect. Secluded, peaceful, clean and tidy. Great little spot with amazing bird life and some trails to explore. Lots of people mentioned leeches in the reviews - I didn't see any at all over a rainy couple of days (and wet weather leading up to my stay). The covered deck and little bench were very handy indeed.

Had an amazing time at this campsite! Definately relaxing and quite peaceful Brendan was very nice and got to meet his black dog (very cute and friendly) He even prepared us our campfire just before we arrived and provided us with some few wood! Thanks!

Such a beautiful spot. We loved the deck area which makes it feel like you’re “glamping”. Was a beautiful walk down to the creek. My 2007 Subaru outback handled the drive in just needed to gun it at the sharp left bend.

Perfect quiet area to escape reality. The shelter was good as it rained on and off. We took own chairs/shower, glad we did as the chairs there were a little damp and we used our shower so it was hot. There was plenty of fire wood, good value for money. Unfortunately there are leeches, but didn’t bother us overly much. Will definitely return in the summer and explore some walking tracks!

Probably one of the best campsites I’ve stayed at. The amenities were great, the shed at the camp site meant that we didn’t have to set up our gazebo! Fire pit was amazing, relatively flat ground to setup tents. Will definitely be back! Some recommendations for other campers: The entry will require an AWD/4WD. My Subaru Forester made it quite easily despite the rain during our stay but I suspect you’d loose traction with a 2WD especially in rain. Also, there were some leeches at the campground so have your first aid kit!
