Weekend Trip to “Wywurri 2”

I have to begin by saying that Jennifer is an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE host. She is truly an angel of a person—kind, generous, and extremely accommodating. She was quick to respond, sent us great recommendations, and even checked in with us via text every day to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed on Site 5 for two nights, and the location was perfect. We were greeted by her stunning and friendly horses upon arrival, which was a highlight. The site itself is very spacious, sitting next to the trees and overlooking a little pond and paddocks. It was super quiet, and despite there being two other camper parties nearby, the layout offered so much privacy that we felt completely alone. We have a Nissan Patrol and a double-fold camper trailer, and the site was very easy to access and set up in. The location is extremely private, yet super-convenient—you are only about 15 minutes away from everything you could possibly need, and it’s central to all the famous surf beaches and nature walks in the area. We will definitely be back again!

It was a very handy spot to camp after a long days travel and before we headed through Sydney the next day to the far south coast. Only a short drive off the M1. Basically a tucked away horse paddock of a few acres with plenty of space between sites. We booked site 2 after reading other positive reviews. We liked it and felt safe and secure. Would booked again. As the owner’s description indicates there are no facilities and you have to be fully self contained.

It was perfect for our camping trip with young children. Gumtree grove was so peaceful, we loved the short walk to the river. The trampoline was a pleasant surprise and we were very grateful to have canoes to play on. Totally magical spot. Would love to go back.

Wow what a great campsite everything you need supplied toilets showers fire pit and plenty of room to move around. Kids also loved this campsite with games supplied, a little creek that the kids could explore and have a little splash. Very clear communication on arrival personally showed to your campsite and explained all the amenities.

Had a lovely weekend camping at Myrtle Ridge farm. Big grassy area with plenty of sites however doesn’t feel cramped at all. Working flushing toilets and hot shower. They can provide you with a fire pit as well. Hosts were amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Our aim was to go here relax, and do some campfire cooking. Which we absolutely did! This was a great spot to do that! . We had plenty of privacy. This would also be a perfect place for those who may live close to Sydney, needing to do a shake down trip to get familiar with their new caravan bur who could also benefit from being close to shops to get any supplies. Thank you for a lovely spot to get away!

This was a perfect site for us. Just a place one group, and there was the added benefit of a nice covered area with a table and chairs next to the fireplace. Generous fire wood was supplied as well. Totally quiet with just the sounds of nature. Extra bonus. It is off the grid. We will be back.

Fabulous place. So much space that no matter how many people are camping you still have plenty of room. A couple of toilets and a shower were an added bonus. Alana was looking after the property while the owners were away and did an exceptional job. She visited everyone to check if we needed anything a few times a day. She was particularly happy to visit us because we had our Newfoundland Gracie with us 😊We will definitely visit again. Also love that it is only 25 minutes from home 😀

Encompassing salt marsh, casuarina forests, open grassland and gumtree groves there is an incredible diversity of species to be found on this relatively small property. Mystical Mountain is located on a 53 acre working farm. Backing onto McPhersons forest, our campsites are ideally located within a short treck or bike ride into the forest. The forest has a beautiful creek and waterfall, perfect for a day trip. The property is conveniently located 1 hour from Sydney and just a 2 minute drive to groceries, food and a pharmacy and 7 minutes from the pub and a doctor. A 30 minutes form town and close to attractions such as Glenworth Valley and Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary. Also Markets every 2nd and 4th Weekend. The site currently does not have toilets or electrical facilities, but something we are working on. So please bring your own toilet and take with you.
