Canoelands Valley Camping is an easy-to-access camping area with magnificent views through the National Park Valley. There are two allocated camping/van 2WD access zones and three private sites with access via 4WDs/AWDs. Enjoythe privacy and access to walk around the 40 acres. Located 1.15 hrs from Sydney CBD this is an ideal place for a quick weekend getaway for keen hikers, mountain bikers and nature enthusiasts. Surrounded by the Marramarra National Park you have a short drive to access the Canoelands Ridge Trail (17kms), Duckponds Ridge Trail, Marrarra Ridge to Smugglers Point Ridge Trail. We are a short drive to dine at Wiseman Ferry, and only 11 minutes from the local Woolworths. Or enjoy a beautiful walk at Fagan Park in Galston. Your camping/van area is supplied with red/bins. 2 Portaloos available at the front and back section. Dogs allowed but please let me know first. They will need to be on leash all the time and well behaved. Please pick up after them ANYWHERE they go toilet and also they must be vaccinated. No cats allowed. A campfire during permitted times is allowed but only in the fire pits. There is loads of dried kindling and small logs around the property otherwise please bring your own. ALL Sites have fire pits. CHILDREN are to be accompanied by an adult at all times if walking around the property. Beautiful spot to relax, with loads of wildlife and bird watching. Please use bins supplied and leave no trace. * There are 5 allocated camp sites. Two are easy(2WD & Vans/trailers) access and have the direct view through the valley. Three require high wheel clearance vehicles (just small hill to drive up with some rocks), these are more private sites(cannot see the other campers) still with lovely views. Please mention what car you have when booking. *please note this is not a loud party site, your noise must not disturb any other campers, this includes music. Especially after 9 pm Please also be mindful at site 1 and 2 of early morning noise.

Lovely peaceful property with beautiful views. A great chance to explore for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. Close access for hikers to many short and long trials within 5-minute drive. Chill out and enjoy the view. You are welcome to walk around the property, there is about 1.5/2 km of trials and area to explore. * There are 4 allocated camp sites. Two easy access (2WD and trailers fine). Two sites require vehicles with high wheel clearance. ** Now offering access on weekdays to Site 1 & 2 only. Weekend access to all four sites. Check in is 12.30 pm onwards Check out is before 12 pm A place for enjoyable quiet catch ups but NO LOUD MUSIC OR PARTYING. Set up camp with easy access and impeccable views. The camping/van area is supplied with red/yellow bins, with easy access portaloos. Please message us prior to booking to discuss dogs. No dogs on hikes in the National Park, and in the camping area dogs are to be kept on leash at all times and to be picked up after please. All dogs must be vaccinated. Fire pits are provided for all four sites as campfires during permitted times. Please use bins supplied and leave no trace. * Young babies, please don’t book if your child is going to be up crying at night, noise travels here, thank you for understanding. *No cats allowed * Commercial business wanting a photo/video shoot please contact directly before booking thank you.

The area and view were stunning. The camping grounds were well maintained and comfortable to set up on. The ammenities provided were accessible and clean. Debbie was also very easy to talk to and chat with. Would 100% recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Debbie’s Hipcamp! Debbie was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the start. We stayed at Site 4, which was absolutely gorgeous - peaceful and private. The portaloo was also very clean and conveniently located, which made our stay even more comfortable. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend Debbie’s Hipcamp to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

My friends and I loved our stay at Canoelands Valley camping. Check in was easy, the campsite had a beautiful view of the valley, and it was in a quiet, private area which was great. Good facilities and location, with lots to do in the nearby area. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay. Facilities - toilet & sink - were very clean and easily walkable from the campsite (4). Upon arrival, welcome and instructions were printed for us to access easily on our stay. Would recommend to friends and would come again ourselves!

Stayed for one night and we really enjoyed our time, drive up was great and our site had amazing views over trees and the valley. We were lucky to even see a great sunset. Feels relatively private and what a very lovely host :) Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing place to stay, quiet and peaceful with some beautiful wildlife. Debbie was amazing and incredibly helpful, even setting up a marquee for us before we arrived to have some respite from the rain. Would absolutely visit again and for longer next time!!

We loved our stay in this campsite. We stayed in site 2 and the fire place area was magical during sun rise and sun set. Saw the mixture of orange, yellow, and red cascading the hilltop view. The grass is mowed and we had enough firewood for the night. Will come back here and bring friends who are just trying out camping like us. The place has the amenities like portable loo nearby, some signal from optus, and fitting for people who wants the adventure of being in an off-powered site. The place and ambiance were generally quiet. We could hear cars passing by like what other reviewers have mentioned but would rarely hear them during the night. Kookaburras were here and there. For the price, view, and amenities, this is a go-to place.

Stunning views with peace and quiet

We arrived to directions and FYIs at the entry gate, portaloos for use and a hot shower (although this is moving to the glamping area). Even without the shower, it was the perfect spot. We camped at lot 5, it was private and had a gazebo with solar lights. The fire pit was awesome and the sunset views spectacular. The addition of general and recycle bins for use was a bonus you don’t often get. Can’t fault Debbie as a host or her property.

It is a beautiful spot with great view across the valley! We had a relatively easy time getting our caravan in with total car and van length at about 13m to site #2. Some of the other sites of the back of the property would be more difficult with a van but liaise with Debbie and she will sort out the best spot for you. Campsites are relatively spread out which is great! You will see other campers however they are approx 30-60m away and we were not bothered once. Highly recommend this place!

Great little camping spot for us and our little doggy. We were in Site 2 which is accessible via 2WD, has a beautiful view and is a short stroll to the clean and functional porta loo. Big firepit provided and enough flat grass for a tent too if you had one (we were in our campervan). Would definitely stay again, thanks Debbie!

Located within 90 mins from CBD this is a great option for those who don’t want to travel too far. The Great Northern Road convict trails are not far from site! There are 5 sites spaced out from each other, with site 1 and 2 the closest to each other. These have a great view over the valley and are 2WD suitable. Great to have the 2 portaloo toilets and the fire pits! I’ll be back again!

My partner and I had the chance to stay at camp 1 for 3 days and we absolutely loved it! Our campsite overlooked the valley and it looked so incredibly serene. Our entire stay was uninterrupted and quiet, and we even had a chance to explore stores close by. Thank you Debbie for being so accommodating during our stay and checking on us via messages.

Canoelands is a fabulous site, we've stayed twice in different sites (3 & 4) and both were as enjoyable as eachother. Debbie is a great host, there was printed information on arrival, which was really helpful and the sites are easy to find. Its also close to amenities and great hikes so theres lots to do nearby.

I camped in a Van at Debbie's Canoeland site. Very easy to find, flat, grassy, mown site .Camp-fire and pet friendly. The portaloos with handwashing facilities were great . Lovely views across the valley
