Canoelands Valley Camping is an easy-to-access camping area with magnificent views through the National Park Valley. There are two allocated camping/van 2WD access zones and three private sites with access via 4WDs/AWDs. Enjoythe privacy and access to walk around the 40 acres. Located 1.15 hrs from Sydney CBD this is an ideal place for a quick weekend getaway for keen hikers, mountain bikers and nature enthusiasts. Surrounded by the Marramarra National Park you have a short drive to access the Canoelands Ridge Trail (17kms), Duckponds Ridge Trail, Marrarra Ridge to Smugglers Point Ridge Trail. We are a short drive to dine at Wiseman Ferry, and only 11 minutes from the local Woolworths. Or enjoy a beautiful walk at Fagan Park in Galston. Your camping/van area is supplied with red/bins. 2 Portaloos available at the front and back section. Dogs allowed but please let me know first. They will need to be on leash all the time and well behaved. Please pick up after them ANYWHERE they go toilet and also they must be vaccinated. No cats allowed. A campfire during permitted times is allowed but only in the fire pits. There is loads of dried kindling and small logs around the property otherwise please bring your own. ALL Sites have fire pits. CHILDREN are to be accompanied by an adult at all times if walking around the property. Beautiful spot to relax, with loads of wildlife and bird watching. Please notify the owner before using a drone, or preferably don't. Please use bins supplied and leave no trace. * There are 5 allocated camp sites. Two are easy(2WD & Vans/trailers) access and have the direct view through the valley. Three require high wheel clearance vehicles (just small hill to drive up with some rocks), these are more private sites(cannot see the other campers) still with lovely views. Please mention what car you have when booking. *please note this is not a loud party site, your noise must not disturb any other campers, this includes music. Especially after 9 pm Please also be mindful at site 1 and 2 of early morning noise.

Absolutely! I’d keep it friendly and appealing, while making the “smallest/lowest cost” feel like a positive rather than a limitation. Site 6 is tucked away in our 4WD section and makes a great little couples getaway. Private, peaceful and surrounded by bush views, it’s a lovely spot to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a bit of time in nature. As our smallest site, and the only non-grassed site, it’s also our most affordable option. It’s ideal for rooftop campers, small two-person tents or swags, and is perfect for those who don’t need a large camping area but still want a quiet and private bush setting. We’re a brand-new camping site, having only opened in September 2026, so there are no reviews just yet. Our very first guest stayed at Site 6 during a private function and absolutely loved the spot – hopefully you will too!

Site 3 is tucked away in our 4WD section and is a lovely little private spot for a couple or a small group of 2–3 people. The site is grassed and has a beautiful outlook across the valley, with a peaceful side-on view that makes it a great place to sit back, relax and enjoy the surroundings. Has the perfect sunrise view. It’s ideal for rooftop campers, small tents and swags, and has its own fire pit for relaxing around the fire at the end of the day. The communal porta loo is just a short walk from the site. The site is accessible by 4WD. 2WD access may be possible by prior arrangement with the owner, so please contact us before booking if you need this option. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead while at the campsite and cleaned up after. A lovely little spot for a quiet escape, a weekend away or a romantic getaway under the stars.

A lovely, peaceful property with beautiful views and plenty of opportunities to explore. We’re a great spot for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts, with short and long hiking trails available within a 5-minute drive. Chill out, enjoy the views and take your time exploring. Guests are welcome to walk around the property, with approximately 1.5–2 km of trails and areas to explore. Camping & access: • There are 4 allocated campsites. • Sites 1 & 2 have easy access and are suitable for 2WD vehicles and trailers. • Sites 3 & 4 require vehicles with good ground clearance. • Weekday bookings are currently available for Sites 1 & 2 only. • All four sites are available on weekends. Check-in: 12.30 pm onwards Check-out: Before 12 pm Our campsites are a great place for a peaceful catch-up with family or friends, but please keep in mind that NO LOUD MUSIC OR PARTIES are permitted. Set up camp, relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The camping/van area is supplied with red and yellow rubbish bins, and portaloos are easily accessible. Dogs: Please message us before booking to discuss bringing your dog. Dogs are not permitted on hiking trails within the National Park. In the camping area, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and owners must clean up after them. All dogs must be fully vaccinated. Campfires: Fire pits are provided at all four sites and campfires are permitted during approved fire periods. Please follow all local fire restrictions and conditions. Please use the bins provided and leave no trace, so we can keep this beautiful property enjoyable for everyone. Site 5 is tucked away in the back section of Canoelands Camping Grounds, offering a spacious and private camping experience with beautiful bushland surroundings and one of the best sunset views on the property. The site is large, flat and beautifully grassed, with plenty of room for both small and larger groups. There is a permanent marquee and fire pit, making it a great option for relaxing around the fire, enjoying a meal together or simply taking in the views across towards the Blue Mountains. The site is well separated from our other camping areas, giving you plenty of privacy. Our shed is visible from the campsite and is approximately 200 metres away. Site 5 is 4WD accessible. Access through a separate private entry for 2WD may also be available by prior arrangement with your hosts — please contact us before booking if you require this option. Small and large group bookings are welcome, although our usual noise rules still apply so everyone can enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Due to the site's open position and beautiful elevated views, bookings may need to be cancelled or rescheduled during extreme weather for safety reasons. Dogs allowed but follow the rules of being on leash and picking up after them. No cats allowed. Toilet options: • A communal porta loo is located a short distance from the site. • For a little more privacy and comfort, you can hire a private flushable camping toilet and privacy tent.
