The location is convenient, being around 10 mins from Uki and 20 mins from Murwillumbah, where you can grab ice, food, drinks and firewood.
It was very convenient for our compact 2wd car, as the road is paved to the camp, and the short gravel road in the campgrounds is well maintained.
The campsite is very well maintained, the grass is in wonderful condition, and the portable toilets have water where you can at least wash your hands.
The water hole and creek were nice (in April), and the water was chilly but a good swim.
The camp horse added to the relaxing views, and came over to say hi a few times. We later found out her name is Matilda and enjoys carrots! She was a bit cheeky!
Great view of the stars. You can hear a bit of car noises from the small country road, where a car passes occasionally.
The campsites are well spaced, so you won’t hear anyone if they’re being decent and considerate campers. We did have a group of 11 people next to us on the last night, and it was a bit loud with their music and talking, but that’s on them, not a reflection of the camp or Brodie!
