The property is on a quiet country no-through road. Sites are all fairly level, however if you want it dead level, bring levelers:) There are fire braziers available on each site. There is a small running creek at the Creek Paddock side. The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km). Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding. Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive. The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away. The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast. In the village itself there are options for food, drink and entertainment, with a General store, Post office, Thai restaurant, Natural Wine Shop, Coffee Shops, Pharmacy, Butcher, Cheese factory, and Sports Club . And only 4 kilometers away in the nearby village of Mooball, there is the famous Moo Moo Roadhouse for meals, coffee and fuel, and the also historic Victory Hotel for further food and drink options. Base yourself on this lovely property and explore the beautiful Northern Rivers Region and all it has to offer. This is a quiet and peaceful camp ground and is suited to people wishing to enjoy the serenity of nature. It is not suitable for large groups or those wishing to party on. Please note this is NOT a 'party' site. We are designated 'Land for Wildlife' and so most suited to those who seek peace and quiet. Owing to the terrain, this property is not suitable for children, but adults are welcome to wander around the beautiful gardens. Very sorry but this site is not suitable for those who have to make use of a wheelchair. Campfires are allowed in the fire braziers provided subject to regulations and conditions. BYO Firewood. To protect the abundant wildlife we also have to have a no pets policy. Please note there is a 50-metre uphill incline of 15 degrees to access the site. We are a working turf farm located just off the highway at Pottsville. It's an easy 9 minute drive to Pottsville Beach and we offer a flat patch of grassed land next to a dam with a maximum of 4 separate occupants (so it will never be crazy and over crowded like a caravan park). We accept all types of RVs, caravans, vans and camper trailer. All Hipcampers must be carrying their own toilet. We do not accept tents or swags. The perfect spot to spread out and relax, have a camp fire, look at the trees and explore the wonders Northern Rivers has to offer. These include beautiful beach's, walks, hikes, the Tweed Valley Rail Trail and Uki Mountain bike park all close by. Only 7 minute drive into Pottsville town which has an IGA, great cafes and restaurants, bottle shop and a few specially stores. 30min drive to either the Gold Coast or Byron Bay. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all rubbish and waste with them on departure. Weekend Trip to Stokers Siding

An absolutely wonderful stay. The highlight for me was the sense of privacy and peacefulness, surrounded by amazing scenery that made it easy to completely switch off and relax. The host was incredibly welcoming, hospitable, and very well organised, which made the whole experience effortless from start to finish. A beautiful place that I’d happily visit again and highly recommend.

Great spot. We stayed at a nice grassy camp next to a small creek. Clean and spacious and a nice bricked fire pit. Night sky is amazing there as well. Perfect for taking a telescope. The owner is extremely communicative which helpful when booking last minute.

Weekend Trip to Treepod of the Treehouse

Lovely spot on the mountainside with amazing views. Gorgeous little cabin with everything you need - comfy bed, all basic kitchen equipment plus Weber, deck chairs and lovely chimney fire pit to stay warm while appreciating the view, quiet and birdsong. Robin was a great host and a lovely touch to have breakfast supplies and fresh fruit and eggs. Thanks for welcoming us to your little village on the mountain.

2 nights at Burringbar Camping - The Haven

This camp is perfect for people who want a quiet bush experience. It is the perfect place to stay if you don’t want to be crowded in on a caravan park. We wanted to ride the nearby rail trail and it was a great location for that. The bird life and the bush setting was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and made you feel at home! Highly recommended to anyone who values a peaceful getaway!

Suzanne and husband, Rob’s farm was a friendly and well located place to camp for cycling the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Suzanne and Rob were very approachable and nothing was too much trouble. The cheese platter and gelatos produced at their boutique dairy were exceptional.

Weekend Trip to "JALUM" Undulating Farmland!

It was a very nice farm with lots of horses, ponies and an alpaca! There’s lots of space to set up and the views are beautiful. Karen was lovely. There’s some highway noise so it doesn’t feel super secluded, but it didn’t really bother us. We enjoyed our stay and the location was great.

We had such an amazing stay and couldn't recommend this place more highly. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing camping trip. It was the perfect spot for our family, with plenty of space for the kids to explore and enjoy themselves. A special mention to Tom, who was an incredible host. He was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating from the moment we booked. Nothing was too much trouble, and he genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with a fantastic host, this is the place. We'll definitely be back and can't wait for our next visit!

Steve checked in with us on arrival to make sure all was well. Site was quiet and private. Protected from the road by rows of trees lining the edge of the creek. Trees for shade and clear space for your solar and fire pit. Room for a large van.

Good directions, easy to find. Lovely mown grassed paddock and small running creek, just across from rail trail. Lots of birds. The two campsites are far enough away from each other for privacy. Toilet is clean.
