Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
A 15 acre entire property private sanctuary, where you have the entire property to yourself. Only 950m walk from Australia's best beach (Cabarita Beach, Tourism Australia 2020). Surrounded on 4 sides by National Park. Bliss. Ocean views from the top of the paddock at the campsite. High chance of seeing a koala as located in a conservation zone. Really private place for a campsite, not visible from the road, perfect for a fire and a restful sleep. We have a 15 acre paradise, surrounded on every side by Cudgen Nature Reserve which is managed by NSW National Parks and is only a 950m walk to the beach and about 600m to the main shopping centre and 350m to the local bowling club. Drive up the driveway (easily 2WD and large vehicle accessible) and soak in the ocean and lake views. Smell the salty air, listen to the native birds and light a fire for warmth. Native forest is abundant, and one can easily spend an hour or two wandering the property watching the birds, the ducks by the dam or the stars at night. The prime position is a flat, cleared grassy hilltop, with very little else offered here. This is what we feel makes it so special. Every vehicle can access the site so there is no need to clarify prior to booking. Our driveway was extensively upgraded in 2023. Please note our strict cancellation policy - you will receive a 50% refund up to 30 days prior to your booking so we recommend not cancelling within 30 days of your trip to avoid disappointment. Check in and check out times are fixed and NOT flexible. We recommend spending the morning in Cabarita township or at the beach prior to your check in.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Cabarita Beach Station hosted by Scott! Everything about this campsite exceeded expectations, and I’ll definitely be returning multiple times a year. The location is private, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with nice flat, clean ground that makes it perfect for tents, camper trailers, caravans, and other camping setups. It’s one of those places where you can arrive, set up easily, and immediately relax. One of the biggest highlights is how close it is to the beach, making it easy to spend the day enjoying the sand and surf before returning to camp. There are also plenty of facilities, shops, and conveniences nearby, so you get the perfect balance of a secluded camping experience without being far from everything you need. Scott has created a fantastic camping spot in a beautiful location, and it’s honestly one of the best camps I’ve stayed at through Hipcamp. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing beachside getaway. I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful spot nestled within some spectacular trees, great fire pit area and camp location. So close to town and Cabarita beaches yet you wouldn’t know it when you’re back at site in your own bush haven. Just fab.

Very good communication from Scott throughout. Good location, walkable to town. Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there so didn’t get the benefit of outdoor camping (& the koalas must have taken shelter!)

This was the perfect camping spot for us. Totally private at the top of the hill, but close enough for us to walk to Cabarita shops and hotel, Woollies and bars, plus the Beach. Perfect spot! So peaceful and quiet, especially as we were the only ones on the site. Great ocean breezes amongst the trees. Picnic table, chairs, swing and level pad for our caravan was great. Plenty of bushwalking tracks too. Will definitely be back!

Secluded bush camp but so close to the beach. The Bowls Club is even closer 😉. Abundant Birdlife including Spangled Drongos, Forest Kingfishers and Little Wattle birds. There is road noise during the day, as it's on the hill, but quiet overnight traffic-wise. Campfire pit provided with bench seating but not used this time due to nice temperature. Picnic table and swing are great creature comforts.

We had an amazing stay at Cabarita Beach Station! The site was beautifully maintained, quiet, and perfectly secluded. The fire pit was a highlight. The bush swing was a bonus, and the kids loved it. The location is unbeatable - a short walk to the beach and shops, but still feels remote and peaceful. Scott, the host, was super responsive and made our stay even better. We'll definitely be back!

This campsite was absolutely beautiful so quiet, peaceful, and perfectly secluded. Being surrounded by nature with no distractions made it incredibly special. It gave my daughter and me the chance to really slow down, talk, laugh, and just enjoy each other’s company. We made memories here that I’ll treasure forever. If you’re looking for a place to switch off and reconnect, this spot is truly something special.

Great quiet weekend in private camp-site. Plenty of room on site for multiple size and style set ups. The mosquitos came in as expected but with coils and sandlewood sticks we had no issues. Do need to watch out for limbs on large trees, catch 22 for shade.

A very peaceful location all to yourself so close to town and the beach. Well set up with some solar lights, fire-pit, table, benches and swing. The dogs loved the freedom and there are some great off lead dog beaches close by. The elevated location meant we also had some lovely cooling breezes.

Amazing location and upon arrival we were greeted with a delightful space lite with lovely solar lights, surrounded by crickets and frogs and the sound of the ocean! It felt like “coming home”. This is our second time visiting and Scott the host is very responsive and easy to talk to. We will always recommend this location and being so close to town and beach it’s a perfect place to camp. There is a bbq table and fire pit with ample seating and beautiful swing for the kiddos to enjoy. We will be back in the new year!

We had a lovely time at Cabarita beach station. Scott has a wonderful patch of the world, and we are very grateful he is happy to share it with the Hipcamp community. Wonderul set up with picnic table, firepit, solar lights, and tree swing. Excellent communication and directions from Scott made arrival and set up a breeze. We would love to stay again soon.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay. Beautiful, perfectly maintained quiet site. Large, flat, breezy with a huge fire pit and well-stocked with wood. Easy walk into town and the beach. Scott was great with communications. Only down side was that we failed to spot a koala despite heroic efforts. Looking forward to a return visit!

Really close to town and beach with only minimal road noise. We loved having the place to ourselves. It is surrounded by very tall gum trees which made me a bit nervous to camp under. We would definitely return.
