This hipcamp was cute and surrounded by beautiful nature. The bathroom was clean and the showers had super hot water with great water pressure which was nice on a cold morning! One thing worth noting is you don’t get to select your site, and the owner chooses it for you on your arrival (maybe dependent on your rig, group size, and where other campers are parked). We thought we’d be getting a spot by the river since that is all we saw photos of, but we were actually placed about 100m up the hill, which was still nice and had good views. Although it was just below a residential house, and there were sites on either side of us booked, so it isn’t the most private camp. Each site has a fire pit and they sell firewood on site. For the nature, nice amenities, and easy access— we still think the price was great and would recommend it!

Overall had a wonderful stay. Scenery was gorgeous and Dave was a very accomodating host. Was not as private as expected however, there many sites very close by. Also not able to camp right along the creek like we had hoped.

The most we have ever paid for an unpowered site. Reviews were very good which led to our disappointment. Yes it was peaceful and quiet. Yes the amenities are excellent. However, gardens need to be weeded. Sites levelled. Office is an eyesore. No phone reception. No WiFi. No camp kitchen. Take away your own rubbish.
They need to align their pricing with what other sites offer and then we would recommend.

Clean facilities and a lovely creek that my puppy absolutely loved splashing around in! The campsites were a little close together, but everyone was polite and friendly, which made for a really pleasant stay.

First trip away in our new caravan and we could not have chosen a better place. David was amazing in showing us in to the site which was in the perfect position, nice and private by the creek. He knows his land so well and gave super good instructions that got the van in the right place straight up. The site was mostly flat and surrounded but trees which was lovely. Shower and bathroom facilities were well equipped with hot water, clean and easy to access. There is no phone signal at the site which is nice for peace and quiet but didn’t realise how many times we needed to Google 😂 We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Lovely property and had our own campsite during off season situated on the creek with a nice watering hole. Clean toilet/shower amenities and nice to walk around the property to see the cows and goats

Beautiful, well kept property. Friendly hosts who were very accomodating. We especially enjoyed patting the very friendly cows across from our campsite
My dog and I felt very welcome and had a great time camping over a very cold weekend. David was a great host and provided wood (and some help with the communal axe). We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone seeking a cheeky weekend getaway. No reception, which was actually great! Nice hot showers in a clean amenities block.
