Three camping sites on Beautiful Christmas creek. Located in the Scenic Rim. Access to my property is via a gravelled road, and a creek crossing via a concrete causeway, and a low concrete gully crossing that goes through my neighbours property. Please drive slowly through my neighbours property as he has cattle. Access to the campground from my property and Double Gates is via a gravel track. 4WD Recommended. Please drive slowly as I have cattle on my property.

BYO FIREWOOD, FIRE PIT PROVIDED ( Don’t burn plastic or Aluminium ) SMALL CAMPSITE with level areas This site has a dirt surface This site is not fenced off from the cattle Fairly private If you are lucky you might see the platypus that live in the waterhole. The track to the creek and camping ground is a winding one lane track with three narrow gully crossings and a couple of passing spots. So please drive slowly. Please be aware, we have cattle on the property and this site is not fenced off from them. Pets are allowed. Off leash if well behaved, On leash at all times if naughty. Please pick up all your dogs droppings. Thank you. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.

Christmas Creek Cedar Cabin is a Tiny Home. Positioned on a hill above Christmas Creek, where you can watch the sun rise over Little Widgee Mountain and then set over the mountains to the west. This cabin is approximately 30 squared metres, features a small veranda out the front with a small table and chairs, facing Little Widgee Mountain and Buchanans Fort to the east. A larger veranda out the back faces Christmas Creek with two deck chairs, a bar table and a small table and chairs. The loft bedroom has a queen bed with all linen provided. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you comfortable. The kitchen is self contained with a small microwave/oven, a 60 cm ceramic cooktop, a medium size fridge/freezer, a toaster and kettle. Salt, pepper and cooking oil are provided. Utensils and cutlery, pots and pans and dishes provided. The lounge room has a sofa with a 40 cm smart TV with DVD player. No free to air T.V channel’s or Wi Fi available. If you can get phone reception you should be able to connect to the smart T.V. With your phone. Some DVDS available or you can BYO. A small table for two There’s a small fire pit and two chairs in the yard to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains in the afternoon and stars at night. You can drive or walk down to the creek for a relaxing swim. Enjoy a Scenic drive or bushwalk in the local area. Christmas Creek Café is just down the road. Relax on the sun lounge listening to the birds sing and Christmas Creek flowing by. Mobile Phone reception is available if you’re with Telstra and sometimes Optus. The property is 2WD accessible but 4WD in wet weather recommended No pets please.

We love this site. If you want somewhere to totally disconnect from the 9-5 this is the site for you. There is very little phone service so it’s the perfect site to switch off and recharge. We have stayed here a couple of times and we will be back again sometime soon.

Great large grassy site right on the creek, so relaxing and it was awesome that the cows just come and hang with you. It was awesome to totally switch off with no phone service. This site you can see the campers on the other side of the creek but you can set up your site tucked behind d the trees for more privacy.

What an amazing camp site. It’s private and surrounded by bush, you won’t even know anyone else around. The sound of the creek could be heard from our tent. Our dogs had a great time exploring around the creek. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

This place is essentially near perfect, the river location the cows the view a perfect little place to stay relax and unwind ill definitely be coming back for more. We stayed there for 3 nights and honestly if your a nature lover like me you will find it hard to leave. I wished to stay longer. While other campers where there we couldn't see nor hear them we basically had the place to ourselves.

What a beautiful spot. Magical. The road in was great and Kerry was very reassuring and responsive with her messages before the trip. It is a well maintained camp and very private. We loved meeting the cows throughout the day and they even slept beside our tent / car during the night. We could hear them breathing. Very cool. Aching to go back. Thanks Kerry!

We have stayed here many times and again it was a beautiful relaxing stay Stayed at camp 5 and it’s private and has the best spot on the creek Kerry always freshly mows the grass and it’s amazing Def be back ! Thankyou

Lovely site and views! We been to several hip camps and loved that this one is blocked off from the cows and cow poop free!! Yet the cows are still our friendly neighbors too! Def will be back!

I got to this place and wasn't signed at all. The driveway was flooded, not deep but swift. I wasn't risking it. My booking would have made the owner aware I was a female travelling on my own. No one contacted me to tell me this so I ended up being stuck in the middle of nowhere on my own at dusk with no phone service. I'm sure it's a lovely place to camp but disappointed no one contacted me to let me know if would be unsafe to cross the creek and it was flooded.

An absolute gem of a property it is so well looked after. Private campsite #1 & creek frontage. Creek was flowing and so refreshing sitting in the rock pool. Gravel Tracks down to camp were great. Have rebooked already 😊

The best HipCamp we have ever stayed at. Everything is perfect about this place. We stayed in campsite 1 which is quite large and on the rivers edge, 10 steps and your in the water. The other two campsites are so spaced out you wouldn’t even know anyone else is there with you. The friendly cows made the trip even better. So peaceful and so serene. Going to sleep listening to the running creek was lovely.

Site 5 was secluded and beautiful. Camp is in perfect condition. We didn’t have to wear shoes at all as the grass was like a well maintained lawn. View of the creek was spectacular and wildlife was abundant. Plenty of shady trees and creek access was good.

This spot was even better than the last time we camped here! Host Kerry takes great care of the property and obviously mows regularly because the grass was lush and fantastic to camp on with one in a swag. Views of the creek are great, bird life prolific and the cows as inquisitive as ever. A pleasure to get out of town to such a beautiful camp site.

I stayed on Site 5 and it was perfect! The only other sites close by are 3 & 4 and they were empty. Site 1 and 2 are in another paddock so it felt like I had the whole place to myself. Amazing! The site is huge and has a fence around it so the cattle don’t come onto the site. The creek was beautiful and my dog spent everyday swimming and I set up my marquee in the swallows. It was heaven The site is fairly level and there is room under the trees if you prefer to set up in shade or you can set up closer to the fire pit for full sun if you need solar power. Kerry was very responsive to messages and very helpful. I did struggle to find site 5 when I first arrived as I didn’t realise it was in another paddock and I failed to see the opening in the fence where you drive through. Once you see it it’s very obvious. I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be camping here again. Thank you

Nice place to relax, swin at the creek..site 2 is well shaded e flat, but if you want more privacy site 1 is your choice as site 2 is visible from another site 50m in the other side of the creek. Very friendly cows, bring your shovel. I would be back!!

Third time back to site 1 and still our absolute favourite place to camp. Nothing beats the running, crystal-clear creek that has very deep swimming holes right on your camp doorstep. Friendly cows, lovely grassy areas and so close to home. We just love it!
