Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property.
There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river.
We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area.
All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken when you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Some sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking.
We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you.

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise.
Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended.
There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites.

We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming and canoeing. The property is traversed by several rainforested creeks and ravines, which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing.
We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer a longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding.
We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.
For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV.

If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View Rd - do not go that way - go through Dayboro Rd.

Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp.
Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent.
Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east.
Campers Day Trippers Rules:
The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple
guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park.
By using this park you agree to the following rules.
All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed
limit.
Fires must be extinguished prior to departure.
Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all
rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so
the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish.
Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of
2pm to 6pm.
Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all
times.
No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users.
No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones
or fireworks allowed in the park.
No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek.
No washing dishes or clothing in creek.
No hitting of Golf balls.
No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok).
No swings to be tied to trees.
Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance
will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for
trespassing.

Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play.
Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat.
We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.

Looking for a quiet, no-frills camping experience? Pointro Campsite offers spacious sites on the scenic banks of Maroon Dam in Queensland. With basic amenities—toilets, hot showers, and firepits—Pointro is perfect for those who want to reconnect with nature.
Enjoy fishing, hiking, water sports, or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. Our bunkhouse sleeps up to 36, ideal for youth camps and group retreats.
No distractions. No crowds. Just the essentials—and the beauty of the outdoors.
BOOKINGS
Please note you cannot book out the entire campground.
WATER
There is no potable water at any of the sites. Bring your own.
CARAVANS
* Only 1 caravan per site allowed.
BOATS
Boat launch locations are available for campers at designated areas within the campsite and to comply with our SEQ Water licence:
* No parking within 20 metres of the water.
* Vehicles must stay on the designated road and cannot drive down to the boat ramp.
* After launching, vehicles and trailers must be parked back up the hill within the Pointro boundary.
* Marquees and similar structures must be at least 6 metres from the water’s edge.
* Boats may be moored during the day but must be removed overnight.
Breaches may result in fines from SEQ Water, which will be passed on to the responsible party.
RULES
- NO travelling in the back of boats, trailers, jet skis being towed
- NO travelling in the in the back of utes.
- NO trail bikes.
- NO Smoking.
- NO excessive noise and no noise after 10pm.
- NO parties.
- Do Not Empty waste water on the Ground.
- Max 1 Caravan per Site
- Report any damage, Incidents or Hazards immediately

One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot.
Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees!
Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views.
Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples.
This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy.
We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more.
We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm.
We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim.
The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges.
Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers.
At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use.
Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them.
We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need.

Me and my wife had our first Hipcamp experience at Tony’s place, and it was absolutely fantastic. The property is beautiful and offers the perfect rural farm getaway. Peaceful, relaxing, and a wonderful escape from city life. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the countryside made us feel completely at home.
Tony was an exceptional host. When I ran out of firewood and didn’t have any cash on hand, he was incredibly understanding, helpful, and flexible with arranging payment, which I greatly appreciated.
Before leaving, I had the opportunity to meet Tony in person and enjoy a great conversation. During our chat, he casually pointed out a koala that had apparently been sitting right next to my tent all night. Somehow, I had completely missed it! We both had a good laugh about it, and it turned out to be the perfect ending to a memorable stay.
Thank you, Tony, for your hospitality, kindness, and for helping me discover what was literally right under my nose 🐨. I highly recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future!

We had a good stay at Camping with Goats at Rocky Creek Homestead. The site was well spaced out, nicely presented and gave us plenty of privacy. The host left us alone to enjoy the stay without any interruptions, which we appreciated. Overall, a relaxed and pleasant camping spot.

Loved our 2 days we spent there in our caravan.
We were made to feel so welcome the whole time we were there.
LOVED SEEING AND FEEDING ALL THE ANIMALS .GOOSE THE BABY GOAT WAS MY FAVOURITE, OMG SO SO CUTE.
Bought some delicious true free range eggs.Yummmmm.
Please go and checkout this amazing farm and support them as feeding all those animals are not cheap.They also take in rescue animals too.
Learnt so much about the different types of eggs and chickens etc.
Thankyou for treating us like family.

Lovely large open space with trees for shade, nicely mowed, fire pits scattered around and lovely sunrise and sunset. Quaint shop on site for local delights. Close to Boonah, Kalbar, Logan’s Lookout, Elderflower Farm, Lavender Farm and Motorcycle Museum. Local pubs at Roadvale, Boonah & Kalbar were all great lunch venues to then enjoy a fireside afternoon & evening. The owner/operator came around in the afternoon to make sure everyone was ok. Cows and a couple of kangaroos provided nature up close. Thank you Kate

We thoroughly enjoyed our caravanning stay at Olive View Camping. The campsites are spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of room between each mown site for privacy and comfort.
We had four vans spread across two adjoining sites, with our vans set up around one of the provided fire pits, and there was still more than enough space for everyone. It’s also extremely dog-friendly, making it a fantastic choice for travellers with furry companions.

A beautiful spot nestled in the mountains, surrounded by green hills on all sides and a lovely creek flowing nearby that is perfect for a swim. Dog friendly, no showers however there are toilets that are kept clean. I've been coming here for years and love it, however there are big groups that also visit so the tranquility is somewhat destroyed - recommend trying to get a spot away from others if you enjoy the quiet, though there is a 10pm noise curfew.

It was very relaxing at Rocky Creek. The goats, and highland cows Minnie and Maple were absolutely gorgeous and very well behaved. Winnie the dog was adorable and Tony and his wife were excellent hosts. Everyone was very friendly. We also saw a beautiful koala, a kangaroo and a small goanna while walking around the property. There was plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable and not have other campers on top of us. If they had showers and proper toilets I would have stayed forever!
