Luke, Arna and the Family would like to welcome you to Yabba Ridge Farm. We own 35 beautiful acres along the banks of Yabba Creek. 3 minutes out of Imbil village, 12 minutes to Borumba Dam and surrounded by State Forests. We offer 4 sites, both powered and non-powered sites. Nestled along the banks of a pristine section of the Yabba Creek, there are large swimming holes for all water activities and shallow rapids great for the kids to play in. The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. There are clean amenities, toilets and showers, as well as running water at the powered sites.

What a beautiful camp spot, nice and private too on the Lower Flats. We loved the swimming and kayaking, the animals and the toilet/shower amenities were close by and nice and clean. Wonderful owners too. Highly recommend, we hope to be back in the future.

Stayed 2 nights at the GUMS. Nice secluded area very close to the amenities. Can't say anything bad about this Hipcamp and endorse what the others are saying. The creek had plenty of water and made use of the complimentary canoes. Luke came down to meet and greet, Our 9yo grandson was delighted to feed the Emus. Not a deal breaker, but there was some minor noise from a neighbouring factory. would definitely stay again.

The Landing
This place is breathtaking beautiful. The landing is secluded with a waterfront view, amenities are clean, the serenity is incredible and plenty of animals to feed and pat. Highly recommend and will be back again.

Such a peaceful spot! Sunsets and sunrises are so special. We almost had the whole place to ourselves. The grounds were really well maintained and the kids loved feeding the animals. Great they had firewood to purchase and the amenities were really clean. Nice showers. Kayaks to use. Will be back.

Huge camp sites. Gums next to clean amenities block and feeding the ostriches and deer was enjoyable for us mature campers. Short walk to creek for a cooling swim. Would definitely recommend. Plan to go again.

Amazing location, facilities & price! The toilets and showers were clean and beautifully presented. Being so close to Imbil township offered great convenience and easy access to supplies…yet was far away enough to feel like we were “away from it all”. The creek was divine & the tree covered ridge’s edge was a beautiful backdrop. Cannot fault this place!

Such a peaceful getaway. The weather was perfect so most of my time was spent in the swimming holes, relaxing or kayaking. The property is extremely well presented. Sites are huge and amenities clean. Saw a lungfish in the creek and lots of birds. This is one camp I’ll definitely go back to

A fantastic campsite that ticked all our boxes! Campfires, dogs allowed, hot showers & toilets, power, plenty of space, access to a creek where you can kayak for kms. The ostrich, cows, pigs etc were a bonus! Responsive host, I can’t recommend enough!

Our family and doggo loved staying at Yabba Ridge! The sites are situated perfectly apart that you have your own space and privacy, so we loved that compared to busy campgrounds over the Xmas period. The animals were an added bonus and entertainment for our toddlers! The creek was lovely and refreshing to swim in and the amenities are located close (but not too close) to our site at The Gums. Will definitely be coming back to this lovely camping spot.

Yabba Ridge was an amazing campsite! My friends and I enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the creek while having our setup in a more secluded spot in the lower flats. The amenities were always nice and clean.

We camped at the gums, close to well kept amenities. Large site, close to animals , which were fun to feed. Instructions and information clear and easy to follow. Creek loads of fun, with use of double kayaks added bonus. Well done with making this camping spot as advertised and lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at 'The Gums' campsite at Yabba Ridge. The campsite was well maintained and the facilities were great with access to hot showers, toilet and running water. The river was nice to cool down with during those hot days and the kids really loved feeding the farm animals. Even our dog really loved roaming around. We would definitely visit again.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed how spacious and private the site was felt very peaceful and relaxing. The toilet block was also very clean and well maintained, which we really appreciated. A lovely spot and we’d happily stay again.

My only disappointment was that I couldn't access the creek easily. Otherwise I had a relaxing and peaceful time. Will do it again when the weather is cooler..

We absolutely LOVED camping at Yabba Ridge. Big spacious sites are a huge plus! Clean toilets and roomy showers, good water pressure (just BYO hand soap!). Beautiful deep flowing creek in a majestic scenery, great for swimming, kayaking (free to use) and floating around looking at the beautiful ridge of trees. The animals were our favourite part - so stunning and unique - ostriches, long-horned cows and a majestic reindeer (?) were favourites and you can feed them all for $3-5.a wonderful experience for young and old! Firewood is a huge bag for $15 too! Lovely clear nights looking at the stars - country living at its best! It's not often you find a great farmstay with great water feature too, and the spacious sites means its never busy or crowded, but enough space for a group (just be mindful of how many need power). We will most definitely be back!! I've told all our friends how amazing it was. Thank you Arna & Luke on a beautiful weekend.

What can we say! This place is paradise! Showers, toilets and grounds are all immaculately cared for. Then there are the beautiful animals - long horns (cows), 3 friendly Ostriches (they are incredible) 2 pigs, 2 Reindeer with magnificent antlers, horses, chickens etc. The river is a 2 to 3 min walk and is also fantastic. We swam a d kayaked every day. Weather was perfect as was our beautiful site on The Gums. We absolutely loved the 5 days we were there and will be back. So beautiful, tranquil and private. Highly recommend.

A lovely camping spot with heaps to do at the camp grounds or only a short drive away. Feeding the animals, playing in the creek, watching the wildlife and relaxing next to the fire. We had a wonderful time and plan to come back in the future.

Yabba Ridge is such a beautiful spot with unique livestock (long horns, wallabies, guinea fowl, ostriches, deer, etc) and friendly animals. Arna and Luke are personable and polite, easy to contact, and take amazing care of the property. Best camping amenities with hot water, good water pressure, and clean toilets and showers. Have stayed at Top and Lower Flats and both are fantastic with different positive aspects. This spot has become an annual camping destination for my friends and I and would 100% reccomend to anyone wanting to camp in the area!
