Best farm camp we have ever stayed, kids loved the animals and feeding. The kayaks in the river are awesome. The host are super friendly. Would 100% recommend

Lower Flat

We did a short weekend trip away staying at the lower flats camp-site. These sites are all well separated and not near any other camps allowing for a true camping experience over the typical camp ground/caravan site. With a short walk to the amenities block with well kept toilets & hot showers. We found the animals and wildlife throughout wonderful. Our only shortfall to our stay is not realising where the shooting range was for Imbil. The consistent gun shots can be heard throughout the day. Outside of this the camp sites are fantastic.

We love camping at Yabba Ridge, Arna direction to Yabba Ridge where very clear, the view from our campsite was spectacular, and if you have little ones, the animals that are homed there would keep them busy for ages. This is our favourite Hip Camp with heaps of private space.

This is by far our new favourite campsite. It is so well presented and tidy. The amenities are top notch as well. Neat animals that you can feed which was fun too. Every site has plenty of space. We can’t wait to come back!

Always a pleasure to stay at as usual. Gumtrees a fantastic site. Kids enjoyed playing with the owners children and everyone had a great time. We will be back again. Kayaks, animals, peace and quiet. What more can you ask for

We loved Yabba Ridge SO MUCH! The creek was beautiful for a kayak and a swim, the grounds flat and well maintained, the toilet block well maintained with beautiful, thick timber bench tops and lovely warm showers. Firewood was easily available and a short 5 min drive to town for any other necessities, even though we felt remote and peaceful. The kids loved climbing on the huge timber stumps, chatting, looking at the animals and rolling down the hill - they have asked to go back again. They didn't ask for screens once in 4 days! HEAVEN!

Perfect spot. Beautiful views. So peaceful. Such a large camping area. Great touch that you can feed the animals on the farm too or just even wake up & see them. Having a couple of kayaks there to use as well was great to be able to paddle down the Yabba Creek. Even got to see the platypus. Hot showers & toilet were great too. Arna & Luke were fantastic hosts. Would definitely stay again.

Yabba Ridge is a very well presented camping area. All the sites a very spacious and clean. Arna and her family are lovely warm and welcoming hosts. We will be back to enjoy this peace of paradise

Beautiful place, loved the privacy and peace of our site The Landing. It gets a lot of afternoon shade so would be a great site for the summer, the morning sun didn’t hit until around 10am in winter. The Lower Flat site was comparatively sunny earlier in the morning and still very private. The use of free kayaks is fantastic and the animals on the farm are so interesting! Would love to go back in summer so we can enjoy a swim in the river.

Tent camping at 'The Landing' was insanely beautiful and would just like to thank Luke for sharing his childhood property with us and Arna for her laidback, kind hospitality. Perfect first camping experience

If you've been putting off your first camping trip, Yabba Ridge is the place to start. It strikes that rare balance between genuine nature immersion and full modern amenities. Toilets, power, and running water all on site. The wildlife is a highlight we genuinely didn't expect. Deer wandering past your site, ostriches doing their thing, and longhorn cattle grazing nearby, it's not your typical bush campground. The animals add a real sense of place and give kids (and adults) something to talk about long after the trip. We'd recommend this to any families, groups of friends, or anyone just looking to disconnect without sacrificing comfort.

We enjoyed our time at Yabba Ridge. Our campsite was flat and spacious with easy access to the toilets and showers. Luke ensures there is plenty of firewood to purchase for use in the provided firepits. Neighbouring campers are not close by. Perhaps put the sawmill into your Nav rather than the address.

We loved Yabba Ridge so much last year, we came back with friends! Plusses include: huge camping sites and therefore low numbers of guests, Quiet uncrowded atmosphere, amazing unique animals you just don't see elsewhere, great amenities and hot showers, the creek is great for exploring by kayak (and swimming but it was too cold this time), beautiful clear night skies for stargazing, the 'Ridge' is a stunning backdrop too! We will be back again, many more times - Yabba Ridge is my new favourite spot! But don't tell too many people! Thanks again Luke and Arna for a great stay.

What a stunning camp! Definitely recommend this one! We will be back, and soon!! Flat, grassy paddock with power, water and a fire pit with gorgeous views all around and the creek gently meandering below. Amenities were very clean but a little drafty on a windy day/night, but the instant hot water was very welcome after a chilly rainy day. The farm has amazing animals to make your stay interesting. Mind the big bull long horn, he does charge the fence! The ostriches were a sight and their funny running style is a hoot! Overall, we had the entire camp to ourselves and whilst the weather was pretty ordinary, we loved it here!

Beautiful Yabba Ridge

Yabba Ridge - well what can you say? 4 massive sites. 2 powered and watered right on the banks of Yabba Creek with a mountainous rainforest backdrop. Immaculate shower and toilet block and a 3 minute drive to Imbil. We loved the friendly menagerie of deer, longhorns, pigs, emu, wallaby, Guinea fowl and of course Arnie the Ostrich and his two girls. (We don’t know what his name is but Arnie worked). Anyway ‘we’ll be back’.
