It consists of a 1964 original vintage caravan, with an open-plan living/dining area, a gorgeous industrial-style bathroom, with a glass ceiling for star gazing & an outdoor fire-pit.
The open air living allows guests to feel 100% connected to the natural environment, while at the same time having access to reliable, fast internet along with the comforts of a hot shower, flush loo etc. It is an ideal way to capture the restored feeling from remote camping, without the hassle of taking all your camping gear.
Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children.
All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space.
The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse
We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. We also request that you kindly ensure that your pet does not go inside the caravan or on any of the furniture including the bed, lounge etc. If there is dog hair in the van or on the couch we may need to charge an extra cleaning fee.

It is a working family farm, 110 acres of mostly cleared land, which is a nice amount of space between the burgeoning towns of Byron and Mullumbimby. During your stay you can just kick back and relax overlooking the farm which produces beef cattle and fingerlimes, but with the convenient distance to towns and beaches, you can also use it as a base to very easily explore all the region has to offer: Byron Bay and Bangalow (15 mins), Brunswick Heads (10 mins), and Mullumbimby (6 mins), all offering great dining, local market, and retail experiences. A beautiful stroll to the nearby river is a wonderful experience as you explore, swim, canoe, Kayak or float down the river (1.2 klm) in the beauty of nature around you. You can even throw a line in and you might catch a fish. There is a lovely covered platform you can sit on as you reflect. If you are quiet enough you might see a platypus or two or catch a fish.

There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's.
There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season.
A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime.
The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened.
Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by.
The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know.
The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer.
Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed.
We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one.
If you arrive without placing a booking, you will be turned away. Please use the directions sent to you after placing a booking to stay at this property.

Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks.
the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats.
there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs..
Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches.
Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches.
National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request.
other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices.

Our camp site is perched on the creek edge with little rock pools and running fresh water suitable for a refreshing swim. A large fire pit area along the creek edge leaves you warm on those cooler nights . Please add the extra firewood bundle and we will have it prepared before your arrival.
Pitch your tent or drive your 4WD right up to our running creek that features lovely swimming holes, rock pools and large shady trees. This area is great to watch the sunset over the macadamia orchard or sit by the campfire at night. This campsite is set in a very private location on our 26 acre property.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. There is access to a picnic table for meals.
We recommend 4WDs to access this campsite, and caravans and camper trailers are ok. If you're unsure about your vehicle please message us.

Our hinterland hideaway, Booyong Farm, is nestled in the beautiful hills of Clunes. With a mix of natural bush and around 600 grand old macadamia trees, it’s a private off-grid escape that still keeps you close to everything. Clunes Store and Cellars is just 5 minutes down the road and is a bit of a local gem, with great coffee, food, groceries, fresh fruit and veg, alcohol, drinks, and even a post office. You’re also only 15 minutes to Bangalow, 20 minutes to Lismore and around 30 minutes to Byron Bay.
Alongside our old horses Sunny and Himi, our chooks, our goats, the cows and our dogs Bowie and Naboo, there’s plenty of wildlife that calls this place home. It’s not uncommon to spot wallabies, echidnas, platypus, eagles and lots of birdlife if you take the time to slow down and look around.
You can choose from two different sites across the property. Site 1 sits up on the main farm plateau with easier access, while Site 2 down by the creek is a bit more tucked away and only suited to those with a 4WD. Each spot feels private in its own way and all of them catch the beautiful sunsets we get out here.
The spring-fed creek runs year round and is a lovely place to cool off after a wander, whether that’s exploring the property itself or heading out to one of the many incredible spots nearby. Just keep in mind that water levels can change depending on recent rain, as Mother Nature tends to do her own thing.
There’s plenty to explore in the area if you feel like heading out, from long lunches and good food to horse riding or a day at the beach. Or you can just stay put, slow down and enjoy the quiet. It really depends what kind of stay you’re after.

As we are located in the secluded and sleepy cane fields of South Ballina there is limited access to shops, cafes, restaurants, etc.
The Burns Point Ferry is the best way to get to us, it runs from 5:30am until 12.30am daily, consistently running back and forth. An approx. 8min journey each way and costs $.00 each way, payable by credit card only. So you can easily go into Ballina town for all shops, cafes, restaurants, etc.
If the ferry isn't for you, you can drive to Ballina via Wardell on River Drive.
The bungalow is located approx. 25m from the main residence, and the campsite is located approx. 300m from the main residence tucked away in the paddocks and forest. We are onsite and available if needed.
Sugar Beach Ranch is an operating farm with staff onsite caring for animals and maintaining the grounds. All care is taken to ensure minimal disruption to guests.

Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children.
All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space.
The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse
We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's.
There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season.
A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime.
The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened.
Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by.
The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know.
The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer.
Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed.
We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one.

Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches.
Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches.
National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request.

This area is great to watch the sunset over the macadamia orchard or sit by the campfire at night. This campsite is set in a very private location on our 26 acre property.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. There is access to a picnic table for meals.

Our hinterland hideaway, Booyong Farm, is nestled in the beautiful hills of Clunes. With a mix of natural bush and around 600 grand old macadamia trees, it’s a private off-grid escape that still keeps you close to everything. Clunes Store and Cellars is just 5 minutes down the road and is a bit of a local gem, with great coffee, food, groceries, fresh fruit and veg, alcohol, drinks, and even a post office. You’re also only 15 minutes to Bangalow, 20 minutes to Lismore and around 30 minutes to Byron Bay.
Alongside our old horses Sunny and Himi, our chooks, our goats, the cows and our dogs Bowie and Naboo, there’s plenty of wildlife that calls this place home. It’s not uncommon to spot wallabies, echidnas, platypus, eagles and lots of birdlife if you take the time to slow down and look around.
You can choose from two different sites across the property. Site 1 sits up on the main farm plateau with easier access, while Site 2 down by the creek is a bit more tucked away and only suited to those with a 4WD. Each spot feels private in its own way and all of them catch the beautiful sunsets we get out here.
The spring-fed creek runs year round and is a lovely place to cool off after a wander, whether that’s exploring the property itself or heading out to one of the many incredible spots nearby. Just keep in mind that water levels can change depending on recent rain, as Mother Nature tends to do her own thing.
There’s plenty to explore in the area if you feel like heading out, from long lunches and good food to horse riding or a day at the beach. Or you can just stay put, slow down and enjoy the quiet. It really depends what kind of stay you’re after.

The Burns Point Ferry is the best way to get to us, it runs from 5:30am until 12.30am daily, consistently running back and forth. An approx. 8min journey each way and costs $.00 each way, payable by credit card only. So you can easily go into Ballina town for all shops, cafes, restaurants, etc.
If the ferry isn't for you, you can drive to Ballina via Wardell on River Drive.
The bungalow is located approx. 25m from the main residence, and the campsite is located approx. 300m from the main residence tucked away in the paddocks and forest. We are onsite and available if needed.
Sugar Beach Ranch is an operating farm with staff onsite caring for animals and maintaining the grounds. All care is taken to ensure minimal disruption to guests.

Our property is bordered by 4 kilometers of the Wilson River, where gentle rapids create the perfect backdrop for kayaking, swimming, and bass fishing. Picture yourself camping under a blanket of stars, gathering around a cozy campfire, and listening to the soothing sounds of nature. Here, diverse wildlife thrives: from colourful birds to elusive platypus, and even the charming echidna. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join your adventure, but do keep them supervised, as we share our land with working cattle.
Take a stroll up the hill for a picnic, soaking in breathtaking views of the Eltham Valley, or let the wind guide a kite across the sky on breezy days. We believe in the importance of quality time, whether with family, friends, or simply enjoying your own company. That’s why we offer only one booked site for your exclusive use, with the option to reserve up to five campsites for small groups.
Explore the local area with highlights like the historic Eltham Pub, just six minutes away, or venture to the serene beaches of Ballina and Lennox, 25-30 minute drive. For groceries, Bexhill is only eight minutes away, and Lismore offers a larger selection. Indulge in the fantastic local cuisine in Clunes, Bangalow, Ballina, Byron, and Lennox. And don’t forget to explore the Northern Rivers Rail Trail for an unforgettable biking experience!

It was a wonderful experience! Hosts Ina and Lance were very helpful and provided a super detailed guidance how to reach our tent spot which was actually on top of the hill. We were impressed by pretty clean toilet with a hot (!) shower and a silo with table, chairs, BBQ pit, hammock and a drinking water tap even with filters.
It was a wonderful stay, definitely recommended.
P.S. there is a macadamia plantation there and we've bought the best raw macadamia I've ever tried from Lance.

Fabulous off grid stay 😊. Our kids loved the creek and the little tree swing. Not far from town if you need extra supplies. The toilet and shower make things easier for longer stays.

The camping and property was amazing, Stevey was so nice and friendly. The area is beautiful, the horses are so friendly and cute, (don’t forget your carrots they love a snack). The beach is about a 600m walk but is amazing and quiet, and can hear it through out the night. The wildlife was amazing and a wonderful way to connect with nature and disconnect. Would recommend to anyone, the ferry can be a bit of a wait some times but it is quicker. The toilet was clean and did not smell, and Stevey even got us a fire pit to use. Amazing place would return.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay.
Lance and Ina were lovely people and greeted us on arrival.
The space was secluded with a great cooking/hanging area as well as a toilet/bathroom with hot water!
Ample firewood to make a fire, either in the barrel under the silo for warmth or outside for cooking.
The space was in amongst the macadamia trees with room for a number of cars/tents and was a great quiet spot.
Would absolutely recommend to couples or small groups of friends.

Excellent location to spectactular hinterland country. Exclusive use of the site and facilities was a standout and we loved the chic-industrial theme of repurposed silos and metalwork.
And falling to sleep to the sound of falling macadamias and birdlife was a great experience.
Lance and Ina are a lovely couple and are very kind to be sharing their little piece of paradise.

Gorgeous creekside camping spot! We had the place to ourselves and was the best spot I’ve camped at yet!! Great land, swimming and easy to get to with a 4WD. Highly recommended .

We stayed in the luxury family Safari tent and loved it! Super comfy bed, our girls loved the bunk beds, and everything just had a great quality feel about it. Limited cooking options (just a microwave and BBQ) but we got by with that.
Was a very short walk to the beach, and the pool/slides/cafe/bar were great.
Also, staff were really friendly - thank you, Colin!
Only thing to note is that although the park is very dog friendy, the beach right out front is not - so if we wanted to take the dog for a run on the beach, we had to drive to Patches Beach which is around 15 minute drive away.
