Your campsite is on a grassy knoll of Myocum Farm. Your group will be the sole visitors and there is a hot private outdoor shower, your own flushing toilet, a firepit, firewood available, free kindling provided, and a table and benches. There is a recycling and garbage bin provided. Please note our rates are very competitive and cover 4 visitors in our base rate. You are welcome to walk around the 110 acre working cattle farm and see the cows munching, or walk through the fingerlimes - which are a fruit indigenous to this area, or you can just kick back and relax, but with the convenient distance to towns and beaches, you can also use it as a base to very easily explore all the region has to offer. The campsite is easily accessible from the road, and is a convenient distance to Byron Bay and Bangalow (15 mins), Brunswick Heads (10 mins), and Mullumbimby (6 mins). These towns offer great dining, local market, and retail experiences, along with a plethora of activities to pursue: swimming, walking, fishing, great surfing, sea kayaking, ballooning, skydiving, horseriding, golf (eg renowned Ocean Shores golf club is 20 minutes away), and the wonderful rail trail for bikers or walkers can be accessed at Mooball, a picturesque 20 min drive away or try out the new mountain bike trail at the vey pretty township of Uki in the hinterland. Beautiful waterfalls are less than a half hour drive away. There are many local businesses who can help you pursue these kinds of activities if you don't bring your own equipment. The campsite has views across the farm to the distant lighthouse which shines out at night. Your group are the sole visitors and we have had a lot of feedback from guests appreciative of the privacy and convenience this affords them. This farm has been a dairy then beef cattle farm, thus unfortunately it has been mostly cleared, but we are slowly regenerating native species with our cherished hope to continue this in the coming years. You will be the sole group on an open grassy hillock with views across the farm and to the distant lighthouse flashing out at night. Moonrises, sunsets, and sunrises are very pretty. Your site is equipped with a flushing toilet, hot private shower, picnic table and benches, a tap, and a firepit with barbecue plates and free kindling. (Firewood available to purchase, please do not bring firewood from qld.) We also have some rudimentary levelling blocks. The campsite is 80 m from our backyard so partially screened by trees. You are welcome to walk all around our farm, and we will welcome you upon arrival with information to enable that. We are also on hand to give any assistance you might need throughout your stay. We love people enjoying this place and want you to be happy so please do not hesitate to text at any time. Things we don't love at all are speakers for doof music, or loudness we have to worry might disturb our neighbours or us. Having the hipcamp site has been a really positive experience in so many ways, and we get a real kick out of having visitors here, and we know from feedback that people coming really like it too. We love dogs but please remember to book in any pets too, we just like to know what to expect. Looking forward to seeing you! Guests are required to take all waste and rubbish with them. Please keep a close eye on small children as there are water hazards such as dams, troughs, and creeks. Campfires are permitted outside of fire restrictions in our firepit. Pets are welcome but you must have control of them at all times as we have livestock that can be frightened by animals, thankyou.

Camping on the hillside
The perfect spot just a short drive to the beach. We had a perfect starry night by the campfire and a sunrise over rolling green hills. My 5 year old spent the morning in the cubby and on the swing chatting to the cows. Amazing value with a great host who brought us firewood and limes on arrival.

Awesome experience
Great campsite, just as described. Very spacious, beautiful views and great shade trees. The fire pit, toilet and outdoor shower were all awesome. The hosts were very friendly and caring. It is a short drive to Byron as well as beautiful waterfalls. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and highly recommend it. We hope to get back for another stay. Thanks Alan and Nyhree

What a great weekend! This is a top spot and highly recommend. Super close to Byron, Brunswick and Mullimbimby and having the shower and toilet is a huge plus! Allan and his partner were extremely accommodating and we’ll definitely be coming back.

Great spot for caravan or tent/swag camping with an amazing view. It's far away but close enough to everything if you want to do some exploring around the area. The flushing toilet and shower under the stars are a nice little treat that really make this spot a cut above the rest.
