Our campsite is set within our own ten acre private garden. With only one site booking, you have ensured the privacy to relax and explore the seasonally variable gardens, from the spring magnolia's, dozens of varieties, through to the camellias both sasanquas and japonicas, with the autumn colour of the acers. Centrally located great base to unhook and explore the Northern Rivers. These gardens are part of a wholesale nursery and there are a few times that staff may be in the gardens collecting cuttings. There is no access to the nursery. Our place suits relaxed self-contained travelers only who want to relax and recharge. Located just 10 minutes from Pacific highway at Ballina. Pets are Ok, we have a friendly large dog who may visit. There is a covered BBQ area with table and chairs. For group bookings, up to 10, use the extra van / tent site in the extras section.Drive in site, park anywhere on the grassed area bounded by the gardens. Composting toilet to the east of the Gazebo. Pets ok. We have a permanent 12volt solar set-up. It has a 105ah battery. Standard Anderson outlet plus cigarette and usb points for charging. There is no 240v access.

Our experience at Parker’s Place was excellent. Such a beautiful private area with great toilet and bbq facilities and also potable water. We loved walking through the beautiful gardens and our children had plenty of space to play. The location was excellent and was a great central spot for us to visit the surrounding areas.

Such a beautiful spot to set up camp! Feels like your own secluded botanical gardens. It has the cutest little creek and all the native birds made it the place a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Couldn’t recommend enough. Found the pergola area really functional and it was so handy having a tap with rainwater on site!

This is the best Hipcamp we have stayed in. If you like peace and relaxation this is the place to be. Massive area to ourselves amongst beautiful manicured gardens with the sound of running water from the creek as you sit under the well appointed BBQ area. Can even spot a platypus. Clean compostable toilet what more can you want when it is a stones thrown from Ballina, Lennox Head and Lismore etc if you want to do some exploring of the area, go for a hike or have a nice lunch by the ocean. 10 out of 10. Hosts are very friendly and accomodating and take pride in the upkeep of this lovely area. Ps check out the maze.

This is a must site to visit and stay. If you do you’ll want to return as it is beautifully appointed quiet and peaceful. Damien the host is a really nice and accommodating guy. For a site is for self contained you will be spoilt with a clean and tidy composting toilet, creek and potable water available as well as 12 volt outlets for a fridge or charging devices in the covered kitchen area. Really nice flat grassy area options available which was ideal for pitching our tent as well as plenty of private room for our dog to run around.

A truly magical place! Lovely flat grassy site that is very well maintained. We were right on the creek - so peaceful and relaxing (and saw a platypus!). Damien was a great host, friendly and helpful. He has created a spectacular site, with a huge covered area, drinking water taps and the best compost toilet we have come across. We spent a day cycling the bottom section of the Rail Trail (short drive into Lismore). Also so lovely to wander through the beautiful gardens. We will definitely be back!

Loved camping here. Private spot with no other campers guaranteed on the second site! Might see some workers in the garden from time to time. Owner Ray arrived promptly after we did to provide extra toilet paper and took the time to answer my questions about the gardens. Serene spot with creek wrapping around. Beautiful gardens to explore with lots of flowers. The hedge maze is so fantastic! The most clean and smell free composting toilet experience of my life! Very much worth the price and location. The undercover area even has usb charging ports and a light for the area. Two drinking water taps available made for a comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful. Can't fault Damien's peaceful immaculate property. Damien is a very helpful and accommodating host. Highly recommend a visit here. Just wish he would come to my place in Qld and do my gardens for me ☺️

Close to beaches & towns for day trips. A great site to come back to, what you see in the pictures is accurate. Green lush lawn, compost toilet, water etc. Damien & family are excellent hosts.

Beautiful tranquil spot all to ourselves. We so enjoyed relaxing here and exploring the gardens and labyrinth. Damien was such a kind host and made sure we had everything we needed. We are keen to come again!

Wow! What an awesome campsite! I had a perfect stay there with my dog. The campsite is so pretty, grassy with lovely shade trees, plus the undercover area and tables is a great setup. I was in absolute awe at the incredible gardens nearby, and we had many strolls through there, always seeing something new each time. Thank you for a very relaxing and peaceful couple of days, looking forward to returning in a couple months time and seeing the different season in the gardens.

Excellent. Beautiful gardens. Quiet and spacious. The covered eating area with tables and chairs was very handy. More than big enough to protect us from the rain and unfortunately we did have a bit. Aldi the natural toilet is the best one I’ve ever used and I commend Damien for installing it. All up 10/10

If this campsite was within our one-hour Brisbane radius, we’d be here every single weekend. Beautiful gardens to walk through, peaceful, dog-friendly, fantastic composting toilet and thoughtfully set up … it’s literally our kind of perfect. Damien is a friendly and responsive host. Brilliant spot. One camper at a time. Quiet, sheltered, gazebo with a 12volt supply and seating and barby, fire pit, potable water available, phone reception, immaculate (if that word applies to loos) composting toilet . Damien great guy, offered solutions to a power issue I had, and left us to enjoy his property. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit here, do so, it rates amongst the very best we have been at in 20+ years.

We had 2 nights/ 3 days at Parker’s Place. It was like camping in the Botanical Gardens- simply incredible. We are not garden people but found ourselves wandering through the gardens and admiring the beauty. The campsite itself is also incredible - it’s definitely a place to have an extended stay at if you simply want to wind down and relax.
