What a fantastic Retro Van! Honestly even better than I ever would have expected. The outdoor beautiful shower, Bathroom and small oasis was just perfect. It felt like you had your own back yard with a fireplace, outdoor barbecue. Sadly due to staying for a wedding we were unable to have a fire in the afternoon.... although that just means we will have to book it again.
Thanks for having us and letting stay at your amazing little oasis!

My two teens and I loved staying at the Retro Van, such a unique experience for my kids... It was a van just like my Grandparents so it was a treat for me to take them back in time. Thank you Jeff for giving us such an experience and for doing such a lovely job in designing the bathroom and toilet area. The cute porch and firepit area is so well thoughtout. Thanks again for sharing this with us.

Staying at the Retro Van was so much fun. It’s snuggled away in a tranquil spot just a 10 minute drive out of the Byron centre so very accessible. We took an Uber into town and back again on the Saturday for dinner and drinks. The 70s style caravan was clean and well equipped for basic needs. Toilet and shower block was very modern and also immaculate. We made full use of the deck, fire pit and BBQ through out our weekend. Even spotted a Koala hanging out in the trees above us while we enjoyed our morning cuppa. Jeff was very friendly and helpful too, big thanks!

Loved my stay here. Very private but still close to everything. The caravan was super comfortable and the outdoor area lovely. Definitely recommend 😊

Gorgeous oasis only a few kms away from the Byron township, everything from the van, to the amenities and the fire pit was great. Would love to stay again one day 🤩

Was a unique stay, with some native animals to observe. Jeff was always happy to help and offer some suggestions regards the local area... the only thing i would suggest, is some curtains to the windows so you could sleep in, in the morning...

Serene Campervans - self-contained
Jeff & Kylie are lovely hosts with a beautiful property just a couple kms from the heart of Byron. Loved my stay here and would highly recommend. Nice, peaceful and surrounded by trees. Tank water and electricity available which was an added bonus.

Serene at Skinners is an absolute tropical paradise which made the perfect setting for our holiday. Kylie went over and beyond and my husband and I highly recommend this stay as we had the best time and had everything at our fingertips making this an incredible location for us to explore Byron Bay and surrounding areas. We will definitely visit Serene at Skinners again.
