Very highly recommend this property such amazing land Ali was amazing at explaining where the sites were and very flexible on where you can stay the cows were sensational so many they camp right at your swag and are so freindly definetly worth going too

A Perfect Country Escape

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at this Hipcamp. Ali was incredibly accommodating and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The view was simply spectacular, peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were hoping for. One of the highlights was waking up to the beautiful cows right at our door each morning, which made the experience feel even more special and unique. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend staying here!

A very quiet and peaceful campsite. Lots of room, and we certainly weren't on top of our neighbours. Sean was very helpful. We had a bit of rain the night before we left and so it was a bit slippery coming back up the slope on site 2, but it all ended well.

This place is perfect. Incredibly quiet, yet close enough to shops and points of interest. Sean and Ali were by far the best communicators we have come across, making us feel at home from the first text message. Their Kelpie was also loads of fun!

Sunrise campsite (site 5)

Beautiful property with lovely views. We spent Easter long weekend at Site 3 water tank hill campsite and it didn’t disappoint. Freshly slashed huge paddock with plenty of room for doggies to run around. It was really peaceful and relaxing and there is so much room between sites. Ali and Sean were very welcoming and very helpful. Only hiccup we had, was finding somewhere flat for our van, as the paddock was on a bit of a slope, BUT OUR BAD, we had forgotten the levellers. So we were on a bit of a lean but note to self, ‘DONT FORGET YOUR LEVELLERS!’ and we managed. Rockhaven Hip camp is close to everything, beautiful Bangalow and The Eltham pub and Byron Bay is not too far, so if you would like to base yourself somewhere for an explore around this beautiful region, it is a perfect spot. We will visit again for sure.

Beautiful view, nice and private. The owners were very helpful in giving directions and being there in case we had any questions or concerns, but we didn't have any issues at all. Will be returning and recommending this campground to friends.

My new Magical Place

What a magical place. The drive to the property is breathtaking. The views go on forever, and there’s even a market stall as you leave — we picked up fresh eggs on the way out. We’ll definitely be back so we can explore the area more.

Peaceful stay, amazing views

We enjoyed Site 1 & it’s beautiful views. This site is best for a caravan as it’s most flatest site. Only 25min drive into Byron Bay shops & 6 mins drive to bangalow. Loved watching the cows play together & Sean dog was very friendly. Will definitely return back here. Only recommendation would be the grass needs to be mowed as it was knee height & itchy on legs.

Perfect quick little getaway. Our dog was stoked to get out into the paddocks, and see the cows. We were given clear and accurate directions from the owners. Whole place is maintained well and was nice to sit back and enjoy the breeze in an open field over a hot weekend. Will stop off again in the future!

This is our second time staying here and has been the best camping spot my husband and I have stayed at. Beautiful views and the stars are visible at night when its not cloudy. We would highly recommend this site. Sean and Ali are wonderful hosts and made our stay enjoyable. We will be coming back again.

Awesome pet friendly farm stay!

We loved camping here at Rockhaven! Sean & Ali were both lovely and extremely accomodating checking in to see if we needed anything. Sean freshly slashed the grass on our site before arrival which was awesome. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to run free here too, and enjoyed a visit from the farm dogs! They were super friendly and loved running around with our dogs. Spring site was lovely and private, would definitely return again.

Sean and Ali were very clear and helpful with their communication, providing detailed directions and offering assistance if needed before we arrived. The site was beautiful, set on a slight slope with stunning views. Although there were other campers in nearby sites, it still felt very private and peaceful. It was extremely quiet and relaxing. We would definitely return.

Rockhaven Xmas

We enjoyed our stay at Rockhaven. We are a family of 4 with 2 dogs. Staying in off road caravan and 4wd. It was so peaceful, never more than 2 other groups during our stay and the sites were generous so there was lots of space between us. Ali and Sean were accommodating - mowing site for us and allowing us to stay an extra day. Rockhaven is perfectly situated to enjoy all that the area has to offer - beaches, mountain bike tracks, Lennox head, Byron bay Bangalow markets, Eltham pub etc. With a caravan you may want to book one of the flater sites near the houses. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend.

Stunning view with farm animals

Had a fantastic stay, we actually changed sites to sunrise, glad we did as we had amazing cow grazing near us, friendly dog, and chickens kept us company. The view was stunning. Host met us at the gate friendly and warm welcoming.

Was expecting a flat pad as advertised. Was mainly angled. Had 2 to 3 foot weeds everywhere, hadn’t been mowed for a bit.cow pads everywhere. There dogs had a bit of a go at our dog. Had to tell them to stay away! If it was flat and mowed I would have recommended it. Otherwise was peaceful and close to byron

Heavenly experience 120 out of 100

Everything about this experience was 120 out of 100. From the scenic tree lined drive going into the property to the well maintained, large and private camp site to the wonderful respectful owners Sean and Ali I could not recommend this hip camp enough. The location is so close to exciting places to visit or you can just spend the day on the site relaxing and hanging out with the cows and chickens. The sunrise/sunset topped off a beautiful experience. We are already looking at booking our next visit here later this year.
