Meraki Farm Eureka offers an exclusive, single-booking campsite tucked away on a 28-acre organic farm ensuring seclusion for your group of up to 8 guests. About the Property Welcome to Meraki Farm Eureka, an organic oasis nestled in the stunning Byron Bay Hinterland. Here, we only book one group at a time, meaning you will have the campsite completely to yourself. Whether you are looking to disconnect, explore or simply relax by the water, you will enjoy absolute privacy and peace. Positioned just a short drive from Clunes and Federal Villages, and only 10 minutes from historic Bangalow, we offer the perfect balance of a secluded campsite amongst pristine nature along with hinterland convenience. The Campsite and The Land. Set up camp on our beautiful, spacious, grassed creekside flat. To keep your stay worry-free, the camping area is securely fenced off from our resident cattle, leaving you free to relax. The property features a small spring-fed creek as well as a larger main creek right by your tents. When you stay with us, you are welcome to wander around the property, explore the land, and even forage for your own macadamia nuts fresh from the macadamia trees. Wildlife and Activities. Our creeks are abundant with local wildlife. If you are quiet, you might spot an elusive platypus, turtles, wallabies, or a koala. The property is a perfect spot for bird watchers. You may also see one or two of the local peacocks roaming around with the peahens. 🏊 Cool Off: Take a refreshing dip in the creek right alongside your campsite—the perfect way to wash away a warm hinterland day. Unwind: Bring your hammock and string it up between the trees for the ultimate creekside nap. 🎣 Explore: Spot yabbies and bass in the clear waters. 🔥 Campfires: Gather round the fire pit under the stars (strictly subject to NSW fire restrictions; please check current warnings). There’s plenty of wood available. Logistics and Accessibility. 🚽 Amenities: This is a pristine, leave-no-trace site. You must bring your own self-contained, Hipcamp approved, camp toilet and all of your own drinking water. 🚗 Access: The creekside campsite is accessible by SUV or AWD during dry conditions. However, 4WD is highly recommended after wet weather. 🌧️ Wet Weather Backup: If heavy rain makes the creek track inaccessible, we have a backup site up on the plateau near the avocado orchard. The creek is accessible on foot from this site, it has panoramic hinterland views, and on a clear night, you can see the sweeping arc of the Byron Bay Lighthouse while sitting around your campfire.We have a beautiful creekside grass area to camp on with privacy and space. Cows move around the property and your camp area is fenced-off right at the creek. There is lots of wildlife around including platypus, turtles, and wallabies, yabbies & bass. The creekside campsite requires a 4WD in wet weather or AWD is ok if the conditions have been dry. There is plenty of firewood and only one group stay at a time, so you'll have complete privacy. We loved camping at Meraki Farm. We took our dog and two small children away camping for one night and it is the most picturesque, peaceful place. Tim, Sally and Harry are downright beautiful people, too! They couldn't have been more helpful. We had the camp spot completely to ourselves. It was very private and we felt safe and relaxed. Highly recommend this spot at any time of year!

The perfect campsite

It's tempting to keep this one a secret because it is THE PERFECT campsite. A babbling stream, endless supply of Macca nuts, and complete serenity all to yourself. Abundant wildlife to spot and plenty of scenic walks to do or a cool dip in the clear creek are just some of the things on offer here.. Highly recommend this sweet spot and you won't find a nicer host than Tim. He made sure we had everything we needed and guided us to the site stopping at points of interest along the way. His warm hospitality made this campsite even more special. This area has so much to offer you wont won't to leave. Just book it you won't regret it. Tip.. Take a walk to the thinking tree and enjoy

Creek camping at its finest

Tempted to put a bad review just so it’s more likely that this place will be available next time I want to go! Booked for two nights, extended for a third.. what a beautiful spot; the creek and the wildlife it supplies just makes it! Met Tim and his son Harry, both lovely and very welcoming people. Ended up having a few commonalities with Tim and stayed chatting for a while and probably could’ve kept chatting for hours.. but I should mention this was only when we were up near his property, the rest of the time he left us to our privacy way down at the campsite. The only further info I will mention is related to 4WD access. 99% of the time you won’t ‘need’ to put it in 4WD, but it does assist on the downhill. Although if there has been a day or two worth of solid rain, the steep hill out will give you a challenge. My Navara with full tyre pressure and no diff lock couldn’t get over the first lip, it was not a big deal for me but something that should be considered for others. The next day was sunny and the hill dried up quickly and was no issue at all getting up. Tim also mentioned that in a worst case scenario he has a tractor that can be utilised, which was reassuring if there was a massive downpour. Overall this is by far my favourite spot I’ve found for privacy and relaxation. The big highlights would be laying in the cool creek ‘rapids’ while having a few beers, or just watching the resident family of turtles do their thing in the afternoon sun.. 10/10!!

I have to say that it's one of the most excellent spots I have ever camped. Really quiet a, nice place next to the creek, with a variety of wildlife, a macadamia plantation, a clean place, a great host, good communication, and excellent indications. Thanks very much for your hospitality and warm welcome.
