Great camp, as described. Nice, quiet, very spacious sites. Very convenient to the rail trail. Hosts were very helpful. Thanks for the great long weekend. We will definitely stay again.

This camp was just as described. Lovely flat green grassed spot with shade from the perimeter trees. Jane's directions and helpful hints about the area were much appreciated. Great spot - close to the rail trail and within minutes of the beach without the over crowded hassle. Private spot, well away from other campers.

We loved this place so much we stayed, then left, then came back again! Neat and tidy, fire pits provided, water available for fill ups and wifi as there’s minimal reception. Incredible general store within walking distance down the road, central location and we used this as a base to explore areas all around. Jane and Brad (along with Pepper and Benji!) are lovely hosts and quick to reply to any questions you may have. Highly recommend.

Jane’s instructions and communications were very helpful and detailed. We had a great time and loved the spot - so handy to the little local store and the Tweed Valley Rail Trail which we rode on several times during our stay. There were other campers with us but there was plenty of room between us all that we didn’t feel on top of each other. Would love to come back again! Thanks for having us share your great spot.

I would recommend this site. It is in a great area, close the rail trail, beaches and many great little villages of the Northern Rivers. The site itself is well maintained with WiFi and firewood available. There is plenty of room in a large grassy paddock and restricted to just five sites in the unpowered section giving you plenty of room. Having said that one camper decided to setup right next to us !!! Please be mindful that campers often come to these places to get away from the crowded feel of a caravan park, so give other campers some space. There is another section that caters for three powered sites as well.

Fantastic spot, easily accessible, quiet, wifi was a great bonus to check in with the kids, had neighbours but didnt hear a peep. Bush camping feel but Still easy drive to major shops if needed. Walkable to general store and local Thai.

A lovely peaceful site in rural Crabbes Creek - but only a short distance to the attractions of the Tweed Coast. The site is large, with recently cut short grass, and a good water supply available.

Fantastic spot for a getaway! So central to many things - we visited local rail trail, beach walks, Byron bay, Burringbar and other quaint towns just a short drive away. Also 1 min drive to super friendly local grocery & liquor store and Thai take away. Lovely flat grass paddock perfect for doggos to run around on. Highly recommend.

✨️✨️260320 - Simply Beautiful✨️✨️ Where to start.... ♡Amazing Hosts, Jane, Brad, Benji and Pepi are the best. So welcoming on arrival and there if you need them but leave u in peace to enjoy their property and the surrounding area. ♡Property is so very easy to access, is level and is so lovingly maintained. Caters for those who need or want water and power and or those like us, who went totally of grid. (Although we also got our water and firewood from Brad / Jane) on the property when we wanted it). A little romantic dam with water lillies complements the lushous green grass and was within a short walk from our site but the bird life and sounds were beyong terrific, like a song. Neighbouring cows can talk your ears off and watching the calf's run and bounce around like toddlers...was just so cute. ♡The Little town of Crabbes Creek and its people like Brad and Jane, are just beautiful, warmed heart old fashioned (polite, interactive, pleasent, well mannered) people. All so very welcoming to their little town. Must try out the 'General Store' it's automatic door is operated by a lady pulling a string to open it for you.... hungry, can't go wrong with the Thai truck, food is delicious. ♡The surrounding area has so much to do, Byron Bay is not far, the Rail Trail is great and so easy, so much fun and shops in Ocean Springs incl. a little Coles is 20mins down the road. ♡ So restful, so beautiful, so peaceful, certainly recharged our batteries. Home away from home...

Great stay @ Rail Trail Retreat. Excellent location, close to NRRT and you don’t have to ride on any main roads. Power and water available. We felt comfortable and had privacy.

Great place to stay. Huge open space to park the van and heaps of room to manoeuvre it. Expanse of lawn for the kids to play on. Location is very convenient to access lots of the coastal hotspots. Friendly hosts and friendly dog. Would stay again.
