We stay hear 3 to 4 times a year.
It's always so well kept, ralxing and peaceful.
Easy access the the bike trail and the beach/Pottsville is only a 15 minute drive in the country.

Misty Ridge is a beautiful spot for a peaceful rural getaway! The property is serene and well-maintained, with a lovely backdrop of farmland, horses, ducks, and other visiting birds. We enjoyed the chorus of frog calls and clear, starry skies in the evening. The location is also very convenient—close enough to enjoy local attractions like the Northern Rivers Rail Trail and nearby towns, yet tucked away enough to feel completely relaxed. Just make sure you're fully self-contained since there are no on-site amenities, but otherwise, I couldn't recommend this spot more for a quiet off-grid getaway!

Misty Ridge is a beautiful place to camp! The water fountain and the garden created a sense of tranquillity and peace.
Kirsty was a very welcoming host and her communication skills are excellent!
The site is on the Rail Trail so we made the most of that by hiring an ebike and pet trailer for the dog at Moobil. The Cafe down the road made excellent coffee and the pub at Moobil was great and even make dogs welcome in the outdoor covered area.
All in all one of the most pleasant hipcamp stays!
The camp area is stunning, situated around a dam with a water feature and the most amazing plants. Lovely grass area, trees for shade and so many birds. Just loved our stay. Right on the rail trail, perfect.

Beautiful spot right next to a very picturesque dam.
Wonderful, amazing, peaceful and lush - very clean and lots of shade to sit by the dam and relax. Rail trail 100m from camp and the town of Burringbar is 5min ride- 2 mins in car- and has everything you need- incredible butcher, cafe and food store that sells wine and spirits too. Antiques and collectible store very interesting to.
A hidden gem, right on the trail. An oasis of calm with stunning gardens a beautiful lily covered pond and the quiet sound of the water fountain. This is now our favourite and can't wait to book again. Thanks Kirsty for the logs and quick responses.
Lovely camp site adjacent to a large pond. 100m from the Northern Rivers rail trail. 2 km from the cafe/general store. Host will supply firewood and a fire pit upon request. Next door to a house paddock. Only 2 sites on the southern pond area with plenty of space between.

The South side was level and well kept. Nice view over the pond and fountain. Plenty of space for the kids.
Could not get a better spot to access the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. 5 minute cycle to Burringbar for coffee and lunch.

We enjoyed our stay on the North Side site.
Waking up the beautiful birds talking, the dam flowing & the peaceful night by fire.
Host is prompt at responding.
Will definitely return especially with the rail trail being so close

Our 3rd time camping at Misty Ridge and we love it ! It is a peaceful and beautiful part of the Northern Rivers. and despite being only a 5 minute car drive into the lovely village of Burringbar it feels so tranquil and is also very pleasing to the eye. The owner Kirsty was happy to accommodate our early arrival and for that we are truly grateful. We will certainly be returning again as the whole experience makes this one of our favourite campsites that we have ever been too. Well done Kirsty !
Misty Ridge is a beautiful, peaceful farmstay. We loved our time here and used it as a great base to enjoy the many local country towns and attractions.
The campsites are beside a lovely landscaped dam full of purple waterlillies and everything is well maintained. We loved watching the horses in the nearby paddock, making a fire and relaxing in the peaceful setting. The spot has fabulous access to the rail trail for rides and countryside walks. Kirsty is a friendly, helpful host and was quick to respond. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful flat, grassy spot over looking the dam.
We have been coming here for around 3 years now and Kirsty has always kept it spotless and well looked after. Its our go to hip camp when we just want to get away from it all and relax.
Its right on the bike rail trail and a leisurely 10 minute drive to the beach.

Lucky enough to have been here on our own but plenty of room had there been other campers. Absolutely stunning views across the dam to the ranges. About a 15/20 minute drive to main shopping centre and literally out the front gate onto the rail trail. We would have stayed on for longer except for the need for internet. Would love to come back again for a couple of days of true downtime. Thanks for having us.
Misty Ridge was great. Nice area and lovely setting. It’s particularly great if you want to ride the rail trail - which goes across their driveway. Even after your ride you can sit at camp watching the rail trailers go by!
