We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play. Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat. We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times. We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dinning and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs. Children under 4 are free.

Tarome offers some of the best views of the Main Range and Cunninghams Gap, all of which you can enjoy from the site. The sunsets here are spectacular. The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area. The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD! UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. Directions and communication were clear. Price was good. Surrounds were beautiful. Fire pits for each site and options on where to camp within each site were good too. It was peaceful. Pretty. Inviting. I would stay here again for sure! The goat curry was so yumm and good help when I made enquiries about my food intolerances. I got to camp in a thunderstorm and the place was even more beautiful the morning after. There was one goat who was very friendly and I enjoyed watching the shaggy cows stand in the creek and the kids chase each other up the banks. This was a very good experience

Felt extremely welcomed by Tony who greeted us on arrival and escorted us to our site. The site itself was beautiful and we were lucky enough to get a site closest to the water, falling asleep to the sound of flowing water was lovely. The weather turned quickly on our day of departure and the track became tricky but Tony was amazing and gave us a hand. Thank you so much we will definitely be back.

Sensational site with a fantastic host. We stayed down at the bottom of the property near the creek and had a really nice time. There was some complementary firewood and plenty of privacy. Tony met us at the gate and even took some of our group and gear down in the Polaris. We’ll be sure to come back here in the future to try the hilltop sites. Note: 4wd definitely required

Such a beautiful location with fantastic views! The horses just added that extra farm stay touch and made you feel like such a part of nature. We were unlucky enough to get caught in some big storms but the property was so well maintained it didnt affect us at all and no issues getting the caravan in and out. It was very windy though so don't make the same mistake we did by putting the awning out if the weather isn't 100%! Overall very private and relaxing location and only 10 minutes out from Dayborough. Will definitely be back.

The scenery was beautiful with rolling hills in the background and horses grazing right up around the camp, which made it feel peaceful and close to nature. My family loved camping at Gleneden farm. We had a fantastic experience at Bullockies campsite for 2 nights (despite the rain)! Our little toddler grandbaby enjoyed seeing the chicks, piglets (who are free range around the property), the horses who are absolutely majestic and friendly, and love a good nose scratch, and the beautiful bullocks. We had some lovely evenings around the campfire, which is the perfect end of the day. Also I need to mention a lovely lunch at the local Maryvale pub, live music when we went there, sensational. Overall we would love to go back if we have the opportunity.

Amazing property, Bebe was a wonderful host and checked in when it started storming. Very peaceful, lovely spot to set up camp and our dog enjoyed having a little bit of freedom around the site. We will be back for sure!

2 nights at Rangetop Farm
Our campsite was perched on the top of the range with incredible views to the north & south. It was private and peaceful, the only sounds were from birdsong & the rustle of nature. We had a lovely swim in the dam which was clean & refreshing. We had a fantastic stay & look forward to returning. Thanks Viola!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing peaceful stay This campsite is beautifully maintained and feels very secure. It’s completely private and incredibly quiet — the perfect place to relax and switch off. I was curious about the wood-fire heated outdoor bath, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Heating the water with fire and bathing under the stars after a hot day was absolutely incredible. Such a special off-grid moment. The nearby river and creek are also stunning — perfect for cooling down and enjoying nature. Overall, my stay was so relaxing and peaceful. I also want to apologise — when I was leaving, my car bumped into one of the wooden benches near the fire pit. The timber was heavier than I expected, and I wasn’t able to put it back perfectly. I’m very sorry for that. Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful place. I’d love to come back again.
