We loved the view from the Campsite. It was very peaceful. Lots of birds, with a couple of little one's flitting in the old pepper tree.
The stargazing at night was amazing.
Yep, I'm a repeat offender and a regular visitor to this ripper spot. It always outdoes itself with amazing sunsets, and the night sky and stars are next level! Waking up with beautiful birdsong, and going to sleep listening to the thudding feet of roos hopping by is bliss. Bush Camp is a beaut level site, always appreciated by we tenters, and wonderfully maintained. The track down to camp is 2wd friendly. The cherry on top for those who prefer silence to neighbours, is that the site is all your own. What a winner! Thankyou Regina and Karl for sharing such a wonderful space.
Regina was lovely. Highly recommend staying here. So quiet and peaceful. Lots at kangaroos and wallabies around on dark. Great place to just relax.
Awesome campsite, quiet, peaceful and plenty of space! Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

You have a vast open area set camp. Great place to kick back & relax. You don’t have to worry about other campers invading your area. With the river fire glow in the evening & the clear night/ morning to experience the lunar eclipse. Topping off our couple day escape.

Friendly host who met upon arrival. Old peppertree commands a beautiful sunset vista as you loose count of the wallabies/kangaroos on the nearby hills. Impeccably maintained site with a few walking trails to explore.

Camped at Bush Camp for the night, very peaceful and incredible views of sunrise/sunset
Had a group camp at old peppertree and found site well maintained. Easy access with large firepit. Supplied wood burnt well and hosts very helpful if needed. Very relaxing.
Great spot for a peaceful getaway. We stayed at the bush camp site which was very spacious and easy to set up on. Great sized fire pit and plenty of room for the 4 legged friends to play around the site. Communication with Regina was excellent and the mowed walking tracks were an added bonus.

Bush Camp at Coobindah
We loved our stay! The site was great - spacious and shady. Very quiet and no other campers nearby.
I've just returned from 3 days tenting at Bush Camp, and it was a beaut! Regina is a fantastic host, and communication is always exemplary. Bush Camp is easily accessed and just a stones throw from civilization, but it's wonderfully secluded with plenty of birdlife and roos, and gorgeous starry nights. There's a great fire ring, and the surrounding trees are spaced perfectly for your hammock! Oh, and when it's blowing a gale there's plenty of room for kite flying! Cooby Dam is just down the road too, which is a big winner for those of us chasing one of those elusive Cooby cod!!!! Thanks for a great stay😊

Old Peppertree at Coobindah
Our stay at Old Peppertree was a private, secure and a relaxing camp for a few days away. Our hosts Regina & Karl, provided awesome communications & directions to their property as well as after arrival, sent a detailed map of their slashed walking tracks. Camping area was shaded & the grass was mowed, perfect area for a wonderful stay for us and our dog.
We loved our long weekend getaway at the Peppertree camp @ Coobinda. The view was spectacular and sunsets just gorgeous. Great little spot to visit surrounding area. Hosts were lovely & helped us navigate our spot after arriving later than expected. Highly rate The Farmers Arms pub 10minutes away. Best eye fillet ever.

Old Peppertree at Coobindah
I recently enjoyed a couple of nights tenting at Regina's Old Peppertree site, and it did not disappoint! Communication was exceptional and directions concise. Easy 2wd access. The site was beautifully maintained with the old peppertree providing a glorious shady haven. Wonderful views of both sunrise and sunset, and a cracking firepit to enjoy on those crisp evenings. As a fisherman and kayaker, the very short trip down the road to Cooby Dam was a big winner. I'll definitely be back!

Private. Relaxing. Easy access.
Amazing getaway for the whole family and dogs.
Perfect place to sit and relax but also close to pub and cooby dam for outings.
We had a great time.
Beautiful spot to view stunning sunrise and sunsets. The area was well maintained with walking trails to explore. The dogs loved running around the open spaces and around the old pepper tree. Great place to stay for peace and quiet. We would go back.

Bush Camp at Coobindah
Coobindah was an amazing escape. Our large group had a fabulous time, with enough space for all our gear and room for the kiddos to ride their bikes. We stayed at Bush Camp which was relatively flat and slashed as well. The hosts Regina and Karl were very helpful and accommodating, and always replied to messages quickly. The spot is close to amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants, with plenty of other things to explore nearby. The firewood supplied by the hosts was also fantastic. Definitely recommend this spot.

Beautiful spot to spend a few nights. Not far from town about. 20/30 min drive into Toowoomba. Cooby dam 5 mins down the road with a playground for the kids. Property was beautiful, private and plenty of space for the kids to run around. Will definitely stop in again when passing through the area. Thank you.

Bush Camp at Coobindah
This was a beautiful, quiet place to camp for the three days we were visiting the Toowoomba carnival of flowers. We could leave our caravan and know it was in a safe secure place. The view from the peppercorn tree campsite was great with stunning sunsets. Our host Regina greeted us on arrival and was very helpful, giving us all the information we needed and then left us to do our own thing which we were very happy about. Was an amazing fire pit with wood for sale which would have been stacked for us at our campsite if the council hadn’t called a total fire ban the day before we arrived, but hey that happens. Will definitely stay here again if we are up in Toowoomba.

Old Peppertree at Coobindah
Regina is very easy to deal with and very responsive to messages. The property is well kept and easy to get in and out of.
Private and peaceful best describes Coobindah. We were greeted by Regina when we arrived and given direction to our Bush camp, our fire wood was awaiting us, along with singing birds and a few local Kangaroos which set the scene for a perfect weekend.
Cannot recommend this property enough. Regina was very helpful communicating up to the time we arrived and showing us the site. Karl assisted with the wood we purchased which burnt well, although only got to have 2 fires over the 4 nights due to wind and dryness. Hosts then left us be for the remainder of the camp.
Beautiful spending time in the bush site, great walking tracks, animals, birds, and the privacy, peacefulness was second to none.
Managed to get some great sunsets during the stay as well.
Love to come back here again for another stay.
Regina and Karl have a beautifully maintained property with 2 very private sites. We loved the views and seeing some new birds on our walks around the property. The Old Peppertree feels like an old friend. We will definitely be back!
Everything about our stay was easy, from the pre engagement with Regina, instructions to get there, the approach & gaining access in & out of the beautiful van site. The site was clean, flat, grassy & the views absolutely wonderful! We didnt use it but there is a lovely rocky fire pit, stone coffee table & beautiful dappled shade of the peppercorn tree. Loved the roos that popped in & out to munch on the pick. Birdlife was also lovely. Regina was very helpful with where to eat dinner & other local places. Highly recommend this camp.
