Great spot, so close to the big smoke it was nice and easy to get the and setup after a Friday knock off. Goats and Sheep galore, never short of firewood with the nightly run the owners. Would definately return.
Been to Bares Hideaway many times and always have a wonderful time! The campsite is clean, atmosphere is relaxing, livestock are beautiful and Paul & Tracy are always very accommodating. Definitely worth visiting!!
Great spot, easy drive from Brisbane. Paul and Tracey were great, great amenities, would recommend

Enjoyed our first overnighter here. Wood bought on site was good value for money. Owners are great. Seems like a popular spot and would recommend getting there early to secure a decent site. Will be back.

The camp sites were well maintained. Plenty of spots to choose from. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Loved all the farm animals wondering around. Ample fire pits for everyone, and wood was readily available to buy at a reasonable price. A wonderful place to camp will definitely go back.
First time staying at Bare's Hideaway and we can't wait to go back. The land was spacious with lots of different areas to set up. While basic and outdoorsy, they had the best showers and toilets!
There was a camp kitchen that we didn't use but looked great.
Goats and sheep roamed freely and were a hit with the kids (small and big).
It was such a great place to just unhitch and unwind.

Great camping spot. Everything you need from community kitchen, toilet and showers. Having the goats and sheep visit was great fun, wonderful hosts. Definitely recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Bares Hideaway. Friendly and accommodating hosts. Directions easy to follow. Well maintained sites and amenities, flushing toilets and hot showers scattered throughout the camp ground. Wood delivered every afternoon if needed. Loved the daily visits from the goats and sheep, not intrusive, they had a graze and then moved on. Will definitely be back!

Heaps of great spaces for the kids to have adventures!
Great venue, we had a large group with some first time campers and children under 5. Excellent amenities and they really enjoyed the farm experience. Smudge the goat is very entertaining, close to everything but feels far away at camp, plenty of room and everything available. One of the best campsites I've ever stayed at and my first Hipcamp. Highly recommend

Paul and Tracy are excellent hosts. We had a beautiful weekend away. Kids enjoyed the roaming animals and Paul gave them a great orientation to goat sheep and pig farming!! Thank you so much for sharing your special place with us. We hope we respected it accordingly

Even when quite full you can be out of the way. Everyone is respectful of your site.
We were absolutely blown away by how amazing Bare’s Hideaway is! We stayed for 5 nights from Sunday to Friday and we loved it so much. The campsite is incredibly peaceful, with loads of space and private sites that make it feel like your own little retreat.
The amenities were outstanding, spotlessly clean, hot showers (and we mean hot!), plus flushing toilets, which made our stay even more comfortable.
One of the highlights was watching the sheep and their newly born lambs each day, it was such a special experience. We also looked forward to the daily visits from the friendly goats, who quickly became part of our camping routine!
Everything exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping getaway. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Just down the road from Hiddenvale adventure park Paul’s place is great for a base for weekend of riding, the campsites are spacious and level for setting up your rig, with nice hot showers and toilets Paul’s done a lot of work to make your stay a pleasant one. With a great pub not far away what, more do you need.
What a great camps site. Nice spread out sites, so you have privacy. Flushing toilets and hot showers close to every site. Rubbish and Recycling bins provided. Camp fire bins are provided as well and as a firewood run is done every afternoon so you can purchase wood. Paul and Tracey are fantastic Host's very friendly and helpful. We'll be back again.
Paul and Tracy are very kind and have a lovely property. They come past to greet everyone and sell firewood and ice. They also have sheep and goats that roam freely along with their sweet dog. The Bathrooms and toilets are kept clean and there are a few different paddocks to camp in.

A great experience, the grounds are beautiful, the hosts are lovely, the toilets are top notch and we adored watching the sheep and goats wander around. I also love that each campsite has a firepit. Will 100% be coming back 👌.

We particularly loved Bares Hideaway due to the following:
- Beautiful landscape including numerous friendly goats and sheep that wander the property.
- Early check in available from 7am onwards. -- Each campsite has plenty of space.
- Close proximity to Brisbane
- Amenities including an abundance of clean toilets (plenty of toilet paper!) and hot showers.
- Availability of firewood and ice if needed.
These can be purchased at your campsite of an afternoon and fire pits are provided.
- Dog friendly. Our girl had a blast!
The hosts Paul and Tracey are lovely and certainly have an eye for all the details to make your stay uncomplicated and memorable.
We have camped in many locations across Australia and this one is definitely now one of our faves.

Great spot for a getaway. Paul and Tracy are fantastic to deal with and eager to make your stay enjoyable. The toilet and shower facilities are basic but work great. Perfect spot for a relaxing escape. Nice to have sheep and goats coming in for a visit as well
