Our 70 acre farm is nestled at the base of the Great Dividing Range on Githabul Country. We’re 5 mins outside of the town of Killarney, with sealed roads (and no river crossings) right to our front gate. Queen Mary Falls is a 10 min drive and if you turn right out of our driveway, you can head 2km down the road to start the Condamine River Crossings. We have both cattle 🐮and chickens 🐔on our property, including a rooster, who does get up early sometimes 😅 and a small vineyard 🍇. The creek that runs along our boundary is home to platypus and rainbow trout and we have seen a number of echidnas around the farm, particularly in the more timbered areas. Videos of our sites and the farm in general can be found on Youtube, here: https://www.youtube.com/@elliamfarm Our property has a range of site options available, so use the filters to find a site that suits you. Our property is accessible by 2WD, however not all campsites are 2WD accessible, so it's best to double-check the description.

12km from Koreelah National Park · 4 sites · Tents, RVs · Legume, NSW
Aroona Farm is a 200-acre cattle property run and owned by a young family of 4. 'Aroona' is an aboriginal word meaning "place of refreshing" or "place of running water" which represents this beautiful property well with its natural springs that open up out of the mountain, into a 'forest-like' section of the property and runs into the gully. We also have Acacia Creek that runs through the front which is the head of the Clarence River. Feel free to have a splash in the refreshing water with a couple of swimming holes. Explore our property on foot with many beautiful places to see, and animals (cattle and horses) to watch and pat. Or simply sit back, around the fire with friends and/or family and enjoy the stunning sunsets while listening to the sounds of nature. We offer several designated camping areas, each private with lovely views. Some are much larger and suitable for groups with multiple tents/caravans etc, whereas some are smaller and ideal for couples and groups of 1 or 2 small families. All sites require campers have their own camp toilet, and take all waste when they go. Queen Mary Falls, Dagg's, and Browns Falls (walking track) Killarney QLD is roughly an 8.4km drive and Carr's Lookout is about 15km drive. We are a 7min drive to Cambanoora Gorge '14 River Crossing' - please make sure you check if it's open prior to going* The small country township of Killarney QLD (7km drive) has everything you need to stock up.

This beautiful 200-acre property is the perfect place to get away from it all. We have a hilltop area where you can view the sunrise from the east and the sunset in the west, with absolutely no light pollution. On a clear night, the galaxy is astounding to view. The property has multiple areas of creek frontage with both kid and adult-friendly swimming areas. There is a good area for using a small kayak (depending on the creek levels) or floating along on an inner tube, and beautiful views and wildlife abound. You may even get a visit from our beautiful king parrots. You can also enjoy bushwalking, birdwatching, and fishing, and there are even deer on the property, but they’re rarely seen. If you’re keen, you can take your 4WD to the end of Emu Creek Road, where you can start your trek up to the old plane wreck. Bushwalking to the Steamers (for the very experienced) can be accessed at the end of Emu Creek Road. We are a working cattle farm and have around 40 head of cattle.

I am happy to share my love for this property and welcome travellers to enjoy the tranquillity of the riverside and enjoy some of the walks and other features of the area. Welcome to She-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside. The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival
