Gateway to the South Branch off Emu Creek with the site off the Lincoln Wreck nearby. Sadly a resting place of 6 people. 1955, Mt Superbus. Highest peak in south east QLD. This is a Historic Area it should be respected and enjoyed by all. If you have plans to do the Lincoln Wreck or Steamers while staying please do some research either by Google or YouTube or ask us any questions please. These are wilderness walks that need to be treated with respect. Border Main Range National Park. Emu Creek Valley 20 km. Which places you close access to many park walks include 2km from the start of the Lincoln Bomber Walk. Or walk to the STEAMERS. Prow Funnel Mast Stern. Spring and Bellbird Walk on Broangus, commanding views of surrounding peaks. Our property offers three camping areas. Creek Flat, Paddock Areas. and Prow View. Fire pits at all sites. Can purchase bags off wood at property bags $10. Cracking camp areas prior to or after walks. Or just kick back with family and friends put a camp oven on relax and enjoy the mountain air. Camper trailers Caravan welcome. Recommend off-road or four-wheel-drive, on road vans can access but need to take it very slowly as there’s four water crossings with gravel and small rocks. SUV AWD/ 4X4 Access only 4 water crossing 15km of Dirt So as not to totally rely on HIP CAMP’s insurance we have a waiver which we will send after booking this is just too fully cover ourselves cheers

We had the best tent camping experience so far at Broangus. Perfect 3 days isolated from the rest of the world at one of the most scenic campgrounds. Kids loved the space to play and we also did a somewhat challenging 4wd drive up the hill to another campground with gorgeous views of the mountains. Not to forget the lovely hosts who looked after the camping ground at pristine condition. Will return for sure. 5/5

This is one of the most beautiful campsites we have ever been to! It was extremely peaceful, clean,tidy, the spaces were well spread out too! Jacqui & Don are wonderful people and we felt so so welcomed to their space. They couldn’t do enough for us, and we appreciated it so muc!

Jacqui’s property is Absolutely stunning. A beautiful clear creek at the bottom of a valley, surrounded by majestic mountains and bushland. The facilities are so well done and she keeps everything immaculate. Jacqui is so welcoming and accommodating! She has a good knowledge of the surroundings and was able to easily guide us to the local walks. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time camping at creekside 3. The kids and the dogs enjoyed the space, the campfires kept us warm on those very chilly nights and mornings, the amenities are amazing and Jacqui and Don were great hosts. We will definitely be back ☺️ Just a note: We have a hybrid camper and I would recommend checking the length of your van before booking at this site as it is a tight squeeze but there are plenty of wonderful, flat options up on the paddock for bigger vans.

This 1000% has to be one of the nicest camping spots around. My girlfriend and I stayed on the Creek 3 campsite and it was absolutely lovely, very nice level camp with a fire pit and complimentary bins which was very nice. I must say the highlight was the clear water in the creek which was a very calming touch and I must say the amenities block was very clean and cozy 11/10 would definitely recommend!!

A beautiful hidden gem! We spent a few nights at the Apple Tree site and loved the open area of grass for our dogs to run around, and the stunning views of the mountains to wake up to. Don welcomed us on arrival and checked in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed, but otherwise left us to enjoy the site which we had all to ourselves. The drive to get to the property was a fun little adventure with four small water crossings that our 4wd and off-road van handled with ease - it made us feel like we were in the middle of nowhere but we could still drive easily to a main town to stock up on food or get out of the van when the weather wasn’t the best. The amenities block is fantastic and spotless - one of the best hot showers we’ve had! Would recommend this spot to anyone, we’re planning to come back in summer and stay at one of the sites by the creek.

Stunning spot, were very lucky to have it all to ourselves. It was one of the windiest weekends that QLD had all year so were glad to be tucked in the van. Very neat and tidy grounds, surrounds are beautiful, fun watercrossings to get there and the toasty hot showers and toilets were a great touch given we normally camp offgrid. Don was great, thanks for having us!

So many beautiful camp sites. Everything is so well looked after and the toilet block was fantastic, very clean. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and the guest deck was a lovely spot to enjoy some sunshine and the view as we camped down by the creek. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We stayed 3 nights and could have easily stayed longer!

Breath taking location and very warm welcoming hosts! Amenities cabin built especially for hosting campers. Campsites are comfortably spaced apart with a fire pit provided at each. I would absolutely return :)) An added bonus are the two friendly horses on the property and 3 dogs.

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful stay here. The campsite was spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out, and there are some fantastic hiking trails nearby, making it a great base for exploring the area. The amenities were exceptional for a campsite. Having a proper plumbed toilet and hot shower was such a luxury after a day of hiking, and the large fire pit was perfect for relaxing around in the evening. Considering how well maintained everything is, we thought it was excellent value for money. Jacqui and Don were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Overall, it's a fantastic campsite with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We're already planning our next trip back.
