Carp Central (2WD Access)
Beautiful country escape
Big, private, grassy site with a beautiful outlook over the lagoon and mountains beyond. Easy access to the lagoon for fishing and canoeing. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. Libby was a wonderful host - greeted us on arrival and took us over to our site and unloaded our firewood. We’ll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved camping at this amazing spot. Libby was a wonderful host and very accommodating. Beautiful waterfront location for swimming & kayaking. Stunning sunsets & misty sunrises just enhanced the experience.

Love this place, the dogs are at home here they know the boundaries and no other live stock to distract them, paddle boards keep us busy during the nice hot days, very quiet if work wasn't so busy we'd stay alot often than we do! 3rd time here.

Whistling-Duck Point (2WD)
I loved whistling duck point it had the most beautiful sunset, the directions to the place were very clear which was very helpful after a long trip, Libby was a great host and although it was close to there house we had so much privacy, swimming in the river at sunset was the most beautiful thing I ever experienced and in the morning we were fortunate enough to watch how all the cows come close up

Beautiful private site with access to the river to swim and kayak. Libby was a wonderful host, greeting us on arrival and taking us down to the site. Firewood available for pre-purchase and delivered to your site.
Large, well-maintained site - great for groups too. Highly recommend.

The Old Boat Ramp is a nicely maintained grass are with great access to the dam.
There is a huge variety of birds that visit the water, so always something to look at. The weather was hot but the water was a nice temperature to cool off in.
The nearby shop was handy and does really nice food.
We thoroughly recommend a visit.

We stayed at Pelican point and found it was awesome place to relax and have a swim close to dam .... The ground area is flat and just peaceful listening to birds 🐦 chirping in the morning ... Overall great for family and friends to enjoy a very relaxing stay... This is our second stay now so would highly recommend this place ...

Easy directions, lovely spot to watch the storms and have a fish and a swim. We caught a couple of carp, and enjoyed the water. Thanks so much for having us, we will be returning ☺️

Great spot with Beagle
Great spot on the Dam with views. Easy access and pleasant.
We had a 2WD camper with Beagle. He loved it and we loved that he can roam without annoying other campers.
Libby was available on arrival to show us to our site. Spot is a large grassy clearing and fairly private.
I will mention that on this particular site there were a lot of flies, so bring the spray. When we walked around to the other empty sites there appeared to less flies on those sites.

Not the Best
Unfortunately the Flies were unbearable but the Host was lovely. I suspect someone had dumped dead fish near the site. Something was attracting them by the hoards.
