Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Scenic Rim Regional Council Camp Ground Licence Acc21/0010 and Acc21/0012. There are no facilities here, if you do not have toilet facilities please do not book any of our sties. The camp sites are spacious with plenty of distance between each site - no crowds. Each site is for your group only. Runner up for the best caravan spots in Australia 2024 - Hipcamp Award. Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Enjoy the stars on a clear night. Explore the beautiful Scenic Rim area from here. Visit the historic Tamrookum All Saints Memorial Church. If you are camping around the large natural lagoon please be aware that it is very deep in places and life vests must be worn for any water activity. Swimming in the lagoon is at your own risk. The lagoon provides opportunities to relax, swim, fish or kayak. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon. The Logan River Bech Camp site provides the opportunities to relax, swim, or fish. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon or the Logan River. Firewood is available please message if you require it. Please arrive to camp prior to dark. Message host if you need to arrive later. Open for bookings for Christmas and New Year - numbers are limited. No large parties. We prefer to promote a quieter area. Children aged 12 years and under no charge (please do not include them in your adult numbers when making a booking). Pet friendly off-grid camping. All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes. No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, our neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. Enjoy our large camp sites with family and friends. Noise travels easily in the evening please reduce noise by 9pm. Larger groups welcome on some sites please message hosts. Whistling-Duck Point (2WD)
Our 6th visit to Libby’s property. I highly recommend this place. It’s immaculately maintained with private, spacious, flat, green grassy sites, no shoes needed here and no dirt in van. Camped right on the lake, so easy for a swim or canoe. Libby is a lovely host. Very welcoming and delivers the firewood in her buggy. Thanks for having us Libby. I’ll be back in a few weeks. 😎🌻

We love staying here,its our 4th visit and close to home which makes it very appealing. The sites are a great size so plenty of room and your fellow campers are a great distance from you,so great privacy. Totally recommend. Our dog loves her time there as well.

This remains one of our favourite Hipcamps. Lots of room to set up camp on well looked after grass right beside a natural lagoon. Access is easy and close to all that the Beaudesert area has to offer. When you have enough of the serenity, there is always a different bird to watch for a while.

What at amazing site and an amazing host We booked this last minute and for one night only We arrived and Libby showed us three different sites and allowed us to choose which one we preferred. She was very accomodating. The fire wood was really good and we didn’t even get through the 25kg. The site was very clean and well presented with beautiful views, flat with easy access for both the RV, 2wd and 4Wd. We Will certainly be back again. This is one of my fav spots so far .

We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious area provided and the open skies! Amazing views over the border ranges and a great spot to access the Lion Road to Kyogle and day trip back via Woodenbong. The property has a rich history and Libby is amazing for sharing.

Lovely spot, nice grassy sites, plenty of room to spread out. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Service station just up the road that has just about everything you might need if you leave anything behind at home.

We absolutely loved our stay at River Beach Camp and can’t wait to come back! It was the perfect peaceful escape. The site is beautifully maintained, with plenty of space and stunning views across the property. We loved wandering the walking tracks, relaxing by the river, and listening to all the beautiful birds throughout the day. It was so quiet and relaxing. If you’re looking for a peaceful off-grid getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful property with us, we’ll definitely be back! 🏕️🐾💚

This is the 4th time we’ve been to Logan park. Never an issue with anything. Sites are always spotless and nicely mowed. We stayed at bird spotters this time round. Plenty of room and very private. We will be back again soon no doubt
