Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Enter the property from Croftby Rd. The front gate is white with pink bougainvillaea each side, with “Rangeview” sign. The social dam is currently undergoing regeneration during the winter and is in poor condition. There is however a lovely creek nearby to dip in and of course Lake Moogerah Our property is located in a special location very close to Lake Moogerah with spectacular views of the ranges, Mount Superbus , Spicers Peak, Mt Cordeaux, Mt Mitchell & Mount Greville (2 streets away) are all in close view. It is a very quiet area and we like to keep it that way. On the property you will come across our horses, kangaroos and plenty of other wildlife. (Please keep naughty puppies leashed otherwise offleash is perfectly fine). Feel free to bring some carrots to feed the horses. They love meeting guests! Breathtaking night skies with the Milky Way easily visible. We are delighted to share this little retreat with you. There is no reception for mobile out here. Come out and switch off. The main house compound is visible from both sites. Up at the housing area we also run a separate guesthouse. If you’re interested in booking let us know and we can do a cheaper rate. Search “Traditional Workers Cottage” on Airbnb for info on the space. We sell firewood on site! Just give some notice so we can get chopping.

This site is 1/4 of the way up the property. With complete views of the range. A fire pit. A communal table / area that is all yours to use. Rope swings for the kids and views of the ranges this site is a must for families or people just looking to relax and enjoy the views. (The rainwater tap /sink is currently needing repair please refrain from using)

This pull in pull out site is suitable for one self contained vehicle/camper set up or tent site. Situated on the hill closer to the main house but still tucked away privately this slightly sloping downhill site has amazing views of the range, a private feel, plenty of shade during the day and designated fireplace.

This site is situated lowest on the property and closest to the road therefore might feel the least private. Camp infront of our lower dam with views of Mount greville and a relatively flat site.

We absolutely loved our stay at Range View Social Dam! Fantastic location. The undercover seating area was a great bonus—ideal for relaxing by the fire pit and taking in the quiet surroundings. The range views were amazing! No internet, but that really didn’t phase us too much. Huge thanks to Nicholas for having us—we’ll definitely be back!

Good location. We enjoyed being the only set-up at the property which enabled our dog to roam without having to worry about other dogs. Easy access; and expansive views with kangaroos and birdlife, particularly cockatoos early morning. Fire-pit excellent and located next to covered sit-down area. Good get-away from the city. Caravan located on gentle slope which required levelling ramps.

A wonderful stay at range view, with both a glorious sunset and sunrise over the mountains, a beautiful little fire pit, and a magical blanket of stars alongside the resident cows and horses. Will definitely be back! ✨

Great location in the Scenic Rim and views from the campsite with bonus of roofed area for eating and cooking with a firepit. Close to Moogerah Dam and Mt Greville.

Great camping spot, the undercover seating area and firepit are useful and the dogs loved fetching the ball from the dam in the heat, river nearby also was a great place to cool off, will be back again soon

There’s no internet or mobile connection and it’s not mentioned anywhere. Had to drive 5km to make a phone call. Good retreat if someone is looking for it.

The views, the privacy and the dam for the dogs to swim and no other campers is exactly what I was looking for and this place didn't let me down. The friendly horses come up to say hello they are just so gorgeous....no internet so it was just Devine....will definitely be back!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Range View Social Dam! The undercover area with the table and seats was such a great added extra – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The view of the ranges was absolutely to die for, especially at sunset. Huge thanks to Nicholas for sharing his beautiful property with us. We’ll definitely be back!

We spent 4 night here - two families, 5 kids, and a dog. It was awesome. Super quiet and the host, Nick, was great. The kids swam in the dam and there is another creek about 1km easy walk up the road. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely stunning spot, quiet, remote, full of wildlife. Horses and cows in the paddock. Amazing views of Mt Edward and the Scenic Rim. Not as private as I thought it would be, the owners house overlooks the campsite so unless you have a toilet curtain you're very exposed. Otherwise amazing.

Beautiful place, easy to find, had the place to ourselves which was amazing. So very peaceful & quiet. Incredible views of the range & sunset. Good location near Lake Moogerah without the crowds of the campground there. Felt like a true blue Aussie country campspot less than 2 hours from Gold Coast. We had a wonderful time. Only challenge was levelling on arrival for our 6m caravan as the ground is very sloped, but once that was sorted, happy days!

Beautiful spot to camp, the views are amazing. Great little camp kitchen right next to the dam. Very quiet area with only the cows and kangaroos! Stunning property, had the whole place to ourselves!

Great little spot! Host was friendly and informative and then left us to it. The hut with table and chairs are a bonus, great for socialising without having to set up a communal area. Day time views are next level, and the night skies do not disappoint.
