The Magic Pond is a private property, not a commercial business. The land is suitable for self-sufficient campers only. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES, YOU NEED TO BRING OR HIRE YOUR OWN TOILET, WITHOUT ONE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. No dumping of waste is permitted on the property. The closest dump point is Caboolture Showgrounds (140 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture 4510), which is open 24/7 and approximately 15 km from The Magic Pond.

Our campsites are located in a rural setting with plenty of shady trees, friendly cows and mountain views close to the Fitzroy River. Relax around a campfire on a peaceful dam and listen to the kookaburras. Dip your toes into the cool water whilst sipping watching the sunset.
It is 10km to the upgraded Fitzroy River/Thompson Point boat ramp and pontoon. Enjoy some excellent fishing and crabbing on the river, bird watching and bush walking up the many hills. Only 1/2 hr. drive to the beaches (Emu Park and Yeppoon), National Parks (Mt Etna Caves, Mt Archer Baga, Limestone Creek), and Rockhampton (Kershaw Gardens and Rockhampton Free Zoo).
Campfires in the firepits provided on each site. Pre-cut fire wood for sale on site. Pets are welcome, however the must be kept within your allocated campsite area and supervised at all time. (Dogs are not allowed to chase livestock or native animals). Quiet genset are also allowed.
Definitely no boats to be backed into the dam for washing purposes. Fish cleaning and boat washing facilities at the solar bore near front entrance. Telstra mobile reception. TV reception with antenna. We a setup for fully self contained camping, however there is a basic bush shower/toilet available for our campers.
The dam is a pristine eco area and no soap/detergents/chemicals to used in/around it. The dam is stocked with silver perch and bass – catch and release.
Camp site caters for 2 Adults and up to 4 kids per site.

Yes: Rocky Creek Homestead is the venue for ""Camping with Goats"! Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play.
Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat.
We do have a Portable toilet onsite, however, no showers and campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
1 Pet per site is welcome, however, must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times.
We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dining and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs.

Flinders peak is a good attraction for those who like a challenge to get to the top for awesome views of the local area.
This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top

Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area.
Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing .
How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

From many parts of the farm you have beautiful views encompassing Maleny, Glasshouse Mountains, Bribie Island, Moreton Island, Stradbroke Island, Redcliffe, and Brisbane Port Site.
We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming and canoeing. The property is traversed by several rainforested creeks and ravines, which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing.
We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer a longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding.
We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.
For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV.
Linen is not supplied.
If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View Rd - do not go that way - go through Dayboro Rd.
For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose.
Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere.
Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers, if you are in caravans or tents and if you are camping with children.
We have 12 large grassy sites nestled amongst trees located at the higher part of our property. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. The camping sites are close together however there is loads of areas to set up along the creek during the day.

*HOT Showers and toilets are situated within easy walking distance at all camp sites

We own 35 beautiful acres along the banks of Yabba Creek. 3 minutes out of Imbil village, 12 minutes to Borumba Dam and surrounded by State Forests.
We offer 4 sites, both powered and non-powered sites.
Nestled along the banks of a pristine section of the Yabba Creek, there are large swimming holes for all water activities and shallow rapids great for the kids to play in.
The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year.
The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge".
We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close.
With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek.
There are clean amenities, toilets and showers, as well as running water at the powered sites.

Welcoming you to our 100 acre horse property nestled in the Glasshouse Mountains, with a creek and a lake. Featuring a mix of pine and natural forest, this off grid campsite has a lovely flat space for camping.
Drinking water and toilet amenities are available, and we welcome well behaved dogs on leashes as well as a place to stay for your beloved horse (please note an additional horse facility fee will be charged). *While we don't have water hookups, we can fill water tanks.

The region is a natural playground of walking tracks, horse trails and abseiling locations, the mountains are also home to six small townships, linked by rail and country roads.

We loved our stay at hidden camp! The boys loved the animals, all so friendly and happy for a pat (and some snacks!) The sunsets in the hammock were my favourite. Leah and Callan were so friendly and helpful always checking in and coming to my rescue buggying my heavy water jugs back down to our campsite and another block of chocolate for our smores kit when we ate it all on the first night 😂 We can't wait to come back ❤️

We had an incredible experience at Hidden Camp. The location is beautiful, with plenty of space to explore, play and to find your own little space not on top of other campers. I know the amenities are in the process of being renovated but everything available to us was clean, accessible and well maintained. There was so much to keep the kids entertained, the roaming animals were so friendly and gentle which was such a great experience for the kids, even my youngest who is typically anxious around animals loved it. Callan and his team were fantastic hosts, arrival was easy, and they do a really wonderful job of running the place. I would 10/10 recommend this spot.

Absolutely worth a visit！
You can tell the owners put real care into details you wouldn't even notice at first glance, which is often the hardest thing to pull off. They've kept the natural, original ecosystem intact while still providing all the comforts and conveniences you need. It's clear a huge amount of effort and hard work went into every corner of this place～well done！
The vibe here is relaxed, private, safe, and welcoming. Callan was warm and friendly, and could even call every animal by name — a small detail that says a lot about the level of care and love that goes into this place.

A hidden little gem just an hour from Brisbane. The host was genuinely welcoming and really cared that we had a great stay. Our kids absolutely loved the friendly horses that wandered over for a pat, and the views were incredible. The sites are spacious, private and peaceful, with everything you need just 20 minutes away, including a pub, food options, IGA, butcher, water, dump point and rubbish facilities. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our very first Hipcamp experience, so we weren't quite sure what to expect, but our stay at One Tree Hill was absolutely wonderful.
We camped at Dead Tree Alley, which was peaceful, private, and only a short walk to the homestead for the bathroom or a hot shower. One of the highlights was the friendly herd of rescue cows, who paid us a few curious visits and seemed fascinated by our campsite and campfire.
The property is stunning, with breathtaking views in every direction. The stargazing was incredible, and watching the full moon rise over the ridge was something we'll always remember.
Our young children absolutely loved feeding the animals and getting up close to them. Guy was especially patient with our 4-year-old, who was initially nervous around the animals. Thanks to his calm encouragement, our son not only gained confidence but even ended up riding a horse!
Guy and his family have created a truly special place. It's clear how much passion and hard work they put into caring for the property and their animals, and sharing it with others. We left with wonderful memories and wouldn't hesitate to return for another stay. Highly recommended!

We loved the open spaces, how easy it was to find a quiet site amongst the gums, the interaction with the animals, go karting down the hills and the friendly warm welcome we received. It let our kids embrace the serenity and wonder of nature all around you. Can’t wait to return one day!
Note: This is a true farm/country experience so if you’re unlucky enough to have rain during your stay, just embrace the mud, pack some gumboots and enjoy marshmallows around your campfire!

River Run Camping is the perfect place for families! The ladies have thought of everything to entertain the children, from Animal Bingo at night to animal feeding during the day. Not many people when I went, so I had plenty of sites to choose from. Chose a site dropped down toward the lake. Unfortunately the night I stayed, there was hooning activity up and down the main road. My lower site probably helped buffer the noise a bit.
Still had a decent sleep once the hoons left.
Amenities new and clean. Firewood available and delivered to site. Friendly staff. Good base for lake activities.
