Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. River rd ranch is at heart of the sunshine coast being only a 10 minute drive to Coolum beach and Yandina, 25 to 30 minutes to noosa, mooloolaba, Maroochydore beaches, Sunshine Plaza, bars and restaurants! Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. (unless fire bans are in place ) fire wood available 20kg = $20 (cash only sorry due to a few nonpayers) Pets are welcome but we must respect our Neighbours with horses and other campers so must be friendly retrained at all times. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. We stayed at the Mountain View site at Yabba Creek Farm and had the most amazing time. The site is spacious, has a purpose built shelter, and is beautifully green, with stunning views all around. The shelter that’s been built is fantastic — open and airy, allowing the breeze through while still providing great cover. Having a hooked-up shower was an added bonus, and being so close to the river made the experience even more special. Kaylea and Dean are wonderful hosts. They have created a peaceful, well thought out, and truly wonderful place to relax and reconnect with nature. We can’t wait to come back — highly, highly recommend!

We were on Grey Gums site. Lovely campsite - plan to stay again! Huge space allocated - could fit multiple families. Each site has a fire pit. Creek was clean and lovely to swim in morning and afternoon. Loved seeing the horses galloping in the paddock just 30m away. Kids loved the animal petting - chickens, Guinea pig, blue tongue lizard, turkey, pony ride! Felt very private and relaxing with so much space around us.

Beautiful, large well kept sites with lawn. The Silky Oak site was shady during the day and conveniently close to both toilets and the rustic outdoor shower. We appreciate the 'maximum people per site' rule because it cant get too busy. Also loved the 'no loud music' rule! Hosts met us on arrival and were helpful and friendly, providing information regarding the camp grounds and the surrounding area etc. The access to the water from our site was a very short, easy walk. The water was amazing in that it was clean and gradually got deeper - suitable for both children and adults. We will definitely be back!

Great spot with good sized camping spots along a rocky creek. Our site had a picnic table and swing (which none of the other sites had) a big fire pit and direct access to the creek. All sites have good tree coverage and open sunny places. My dogs loved the space and creek. There were piles of cut firewood to use (but I wouldn’t rely on it, I think it was just the owner leaving branches and trees that came down in the storm for people to use). There is a drop toilet as well which is very rustic. Great little spot close to Yandina.

Best campsite in the area! Extremely well maintained and set out. Extra things for people to do like kids playground area and water play activities on dam. Stunning dam that’s ok to swim in. Birds and little lizards everywhere. I had 5A spot. Loved it. Was not at waterfront but behind that where the bushes were so lots of birds. No-one drives past this spot (it’s at the far end). There was a lot of rain one night. The ground held up well with drainage. Owners stayed away and just checked via security cameras (in and out of property) and a drive by in their 4 wheeler buggy. They don’t hassle the campers at all. Was a lovely private un-interrupted stay. Garbage bins on site and hose to use as well. Really loved this place. Was not bitten by any insects.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

Cleared shady camping spots are available for fully self contained campers as there are currently no facilities available so you must have own camping toilet and leave no trace. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. This area also includes a small number of powered sites * TOP CAMP.. This open area is approximately another 150 metres up the hill from from midcamp, overlooking both Mid & Rivercamps, with 360deg views, has 3 large flat sites. plus many more dispersed sites, also suitable for all types of camping vehicles *Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own. *Showers and toilets are situated within easy walking distance at all camp sites *Lots to see and experience in nearby Warwick and the Granite Belt. Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers, if you are in caravans or tents and if you are camping with children. We have 12 large grassy sites nestled amongst trees located at the higher part of our property. Each site is large and can allow group bookings. Loads of space for tents, camper trailers, caravans or motorhomes. The camping sites are close together however there is loads of areas to set up along the creek during the day. Pets permitted but must be restrained.

QUIET, and NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL. 7 camp sites to cater for a relaxing self contained getaway. The beach track has good 4WD access and is very quiet with secluded private camp sites along the track. Group site is set back 50m from the beach and can only be booked by 1 group at a time. It is a large flat area suitable for those traveling with friends. Please message us any questions you may have prior to booking to see what site is best suitable to your camping needs. The diversity of the property showcases an amazing variety of vegitation, birdlife, and buterflies. Many walking trails allow for bird watchers and photographers to explore the wide diversity at Tide Water Park. I'm sorry to all, we have to reiterate this, but we have to due to some filthy campers. NO TOILET, NO ENTRY. We are disgusted to have to pick up used toilet paper. Sorry for the bluntness. A shovel does not cover as a toilet! Our place is a beautiful place and we will not allow this kind of degradation. The Beach is classified as a Green zone under Qld law which means fishing is excluded along the beach. You can fish at the creek mouth to the north. There is also creek access through the property but no camping there. A small boat can be launched and retrieved. Self sufficient camping only. No toilets, showers, dump points or power provided at this time. Horse yards are available if you wish to bring your horse for rides along the beach, obviously all at your own risk. Well behaved, quiet dogs are allowed, and must be kept within the campsite unless your walking them. Be respectful of others. Things to do here include, beach access (walks, drives), horse riding, bird watching, Fishing, Crabbing, A small wet land walk. Or just sit back and watch the beach change with the tide. What to bring and not bring, Insect repellent or be prepared to cover up when sandflies and midges are out. Torches, Sunscreen, rubbish bags. No hunting allowed, No ATV's, side by sides, drones, guns or chainsaws. Generator usage only in the afternoon and early evening.
