One Tree Hill

Back again. After Staying at Dead Tree Alley, we said we'd be back. This time we stayed at Sunset Ridge, and it lived up to its name. The views were beautiful. Each meal we chose a different view to take in. We enjoyed the privacy, the local wildlife and of course all the animals that were up for scratches. The ease, views, animals and general atmosphere bring us back. It's also quite handy that despite feeling disconnected, local shops are only 8mins away in case you forget something.. ..like toilet paper😅

Such an incredible spot for a family getaway, and so close to the Gold Coast! The entire property is beautifully maintained, and the host family are absolutely lovely. The animals and the opportunity for the kids to interact with them were definitely a highlight of our stay. Having access to a shower and toilet was an added bonus. We had such a great time and will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay, our camp area was spacious and private, but not far from the amenities when needed. Our kids loved the farm animals and experiencing getting to know and feed them. Guy's kids were so friendly and were amazing at introducing all the animals and tasks. It's a beautiful property and was a relaxing stay.

Very accomodating I booked the wrong date they were more than happy to find a place for me to stay on the actual date and help me with everything I needed. Animals are wonderful right up next to you all night loved it. Will be back again

We went with other 5 families, Kids all had fun, they all loved the animals! But haven't rain for a while, when we went to 2 creeks, just still water, and the 1 of the creek was narrow, that was the only part that we felt disappointed, but it wasn't host's fault, just the weather. Overall, we had good time.

What an incredible place! Our family with 3 children stayed at Dead Tree Alley site, and the facilities and all the farm animals are just a short walk away. This site gives you full privacy and an amazing partly shaded area (that is so big a dozen cars could fit easily so you can choose where to set up camp). The farm is so beautifully taken care of with the smallest details radiating all the love that must go into it. There are even solar lanterns on the camp signs and we had solar fairy lights installed at our site! The hammock swing on a nearby tree is also a very nice touch to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. We felt very welcome and very much at home and will definitely be back!

Guy was such a lovely and friendly host. We had a great time staying here, and the kids absolutely loved the farm animals! A Place We’ll Always Come Back To

We’ve now stayed at One Tree Hill twice, and both visits have been such amazing experiences. Our first visit was with a big group of 11 adults and 6 kids, and we loved it so much that we knew we wanted to come back. The second time, we returned with just one other family — 4 adults and 5 children — and somehow it felt even more special. What we love most about One Tree Hill isn’t just the beautiful environment or the campsite itself, but the people and animals that make this place feel so welcoming. Our daughters have really built a connection with the owners, their children, and all the animals on the farm. One of the biggest reasons we came back for our second visit was actually because our eldest daughter had formed such a special bond with one of the calves, Latte, during our first stay. She kept talking about wanting to go back so she could cuddle Latte again 🥹 This time, we also got to meet the farm’s newest additions — two baby goats Patrick and Benjamin. They were the cutest little duo and, of course, the kids absolutely loved bottle feeding them! There’s just something really special about this place. The hospitality, the environment, the animals, the space for the kids to enjoy themselves — everything. You don’t feel like you’re simply staying at a campsite; you leave with memories and connections that make you genuinely want to come back. After two wonderful stays, One Tree Hill has officially made it onto our annual list of places we want to visit.

We absolutely love One Tree Hill! This was our second time camping here, last time we camped at Grey Gum Peak and this time we camped at Sunset Ridge. Both sites were great, well kept with beautiful views. Each site is secluded and quiet with lots of space. We love the morning and afternoon feeds with the rescue animals. Highly recommend!!

We had such a wonderful weekend staying on Curtain Fig Tree Drive! 🌿🏕️ It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot with lots of lovely walks around the property. The farm animals were amazing and so friendly — we absolutely loved seeing them throughout our stay. 🐴🐮🐑 The facilities were fantastic and everything was clean and well looked after. And I have to mention the shower — honestly, one of the best showers we’ve ever had while camping! 🚿😂 We had such a relaxing and enjoyable weekend and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend! ❤️

We loved camping at One Tree Hill. We stayed on the "Dead Tree Alley" site. Nice large flat area with a dedicated fire pit. Easy 5 min walk to the amenities (super clean!) and animal farm feeding. Only a little further to walk to one of the creeks for a dip. Guy and his family were super welcoming and friendly. We all loved the animal feeding sessions and enjoyed a few sunsets with the friendly animals. We will be back to experience it all again.
