We have had a great few days at Coominya farm stay. This is the perfect place to do absolutely nothing but recharge and relax. Amenities are very clean. Very peaceful. Thanks Lynn, we will be back

Site 17 beautiful relaxing area

Lynn's property is gorgeous, peaceful and spacious. The facilities (toilets, hot showers, kitchen, kids play area and general grounds) are very clean, well stocked and in great condition. You can see Lynn and her family have great pride in their property. Despite having to be relatively close to the electrical outlet, there was still plenty of room between campsites and we had privacy. Unfortunately fire bans were in place but it was well worth it regardless.

Coominya Farm Stay is a beautiful place to camp. There is so much room to spread out and be apart from your closest neighbour. From tents, campers to vans everyone is welcome. Lynn is very friendly and approachable. She replies to questions very quickly. The showers and toilets are extremely clean. An added extra that the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is right beside this property. It’s a great camp to relax and unwind, go for a bike ride or use it as base to explore the local area.

Was nice for a mid-week getaway. Only disappointment was lack of shade in the dam field. There is one stand of trees that someone was camping under but the rest of the large field is fairly sparse of shade. Luckily it was quite overcast so not too hot but I would imagine it would be excruciatingly hot on a January/February day. Toilets are sufficient, just portaloos. We didn’t use the camp kitchen or showers but looked clean and tidy with microwave etc.

Loved our stay! Lynn welcomed us as soon as we arrived. The trail was right there and easy to locate; perfect for a long run or cycle. The place was also great, spacious and it was quiet. We also like that it’s close to Brisbane.

Camping with fun

We had an amazing camping experience at the powered site in Coominya with our group of friends and family. 🏕️✨ The site was spacious, peaceful, clean, and perfect for a group camping trip. Having a powered site made everything much more comfortable and convenient. We really enjoyed spending time together, relaxing, cooking, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. A great place to escape from the busy routine and make some wonderful memories with your group. ❤️🌿🔥 Definitely recommend it for families and groups looking for a relaxing camping getaway. We would happily visit again!

Lynn was lovely and very welcoming. The site is very well set up and kept, with toilets, hot shower and a great camp kitchen. You can walk to town via the old rail trail, which takes about half an hour and is shaded most of the day from talk trees on either side. Really enjoyed my stay 🙂

Great place to get away for a few nights peace and quiet not many campers or caravans when we stayed for three nights end of August very large sites with firepit it has portable toilets and showers

We had such a lovely stay at Coominya Farm Stay! 🌿 The property is absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and quiet, and everything was lovely and clean. The sunsets were stunning and made the perfect end to each day. Such a relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy the countryside. We would definitely recommend Coominya Farm Stay and would happily stay again! ☀️🌅

Good for stargazers

Stayed here to catch the meteor showers. For being just one hour out of the city it's very dark, with the Milky way clearly visible at night. Potable water and power were really useful, and there is plenty of flat ground to pitch a tent.

Booked the unpowered dam paddock. Directions were spot on. Lynn made the arrival so easy. Fire pit available, toilets provided, along with camp kitchen and shower block. All very clean.

Lovely stay, nice open fields with some horses nearby. Beautiful location. Multiple fire pits setup around the paddock. Lynn came up to us on arrival and checked in on us to see if we needed firewood. Would recommend.

A lovely quote spot that has everything you need for any type of camping, be it a light rail trail camp (there is a kitchen, shower and toilets) or, like us a powered site for the motor home. Big flat open paddocks on a quite road surrounded by farm land and bush.

Camping near Wivenhoe and the rail

Spacious mowed grassy paddock with views to the north west. The facilities, camp kitchen, hot shower and porta loos were very clean. We had a flat unpowered site which was ideal for our caravan. Very reasonable price for what you get.

Lynn is super friendly and welcoming, great place to come and unwind! Super clean amenities with a great camp kitchen set up. Nice walk into the local pub for a meal or shop for any forgotten items. Short drive to Esk for a day drip to get lunch and some good coffee. Highly recommend!

Spacious sites. Power, camp kitchen & toilets if you need. Easy access onto the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Pets allowed. Hardly noticed them as all on lead & very quiet. Host Lynnn was great.
