Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrivalWe have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. Over the Creek Camping
Nice and isolated. Campsites are really far apart. The creek is really nice to sit in all day. Little bit of 4wding to get in there which was good.

Over the Creek Camping
Beautiful spot!!
I absolutely loveeee this place! My partner and I had originally booked for the creekside camping however due to the bad weather didn’t make it possible to stay there the first night, Phil was so extremely helpful and accommodating taking us to the beautiful 2wd spot which we were visited by the cows. The next day when it had dried up he took us to the lovers lane camp which was incredible!! looking over the creek at breakfast is so surreal, our dog absolutely loved this place too, so much room to run and play, the water was crystal clear and very refreshing. overall this was the most beautiful way to spend my birthday, will definitely be back!!

Over the Creek Camping
Second to none. Highly recommend.
Incredible experience! Staying at "Over The Creek Camping" was a true blessing. The opportunity to stay on private properties through platforms like this is fantastic. Carole and Phil, our hosts, were absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond, making our stay seamless. The camping area surpassed all expectations, and the creek was simply the best. The daily visits from the horses and cattle added a unique touch that sets this experience apart. It's truly something special and hard to find elsewhere. Here's to hoping that the serenity of such places is not taken for granted by future visitors, allowing us to cherish these unique experiences for many more years. A heartfelt thanks to Carole & Phil for making it unforgettable!
