We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival

Nice and flat with a good coverage of trees to allow kids to play cricket and footy without too many to dodge nd enough to have some decent shade. Overall, when we visited, the whole area was nice and quiet. Definitely come back again

Honestly, this is probably the best spot we’ve stayed at so far , Only 1.5 hr away from Brisbane CBD. From the moment we booked, Alannah’s communication was spot on. When we arrived, Phil met us at the front and showed us all the way to our site, then took the time to explain everything we needed to know. You can really tell they genuinely care about their guests having a great time. We stayed at the Lovers Lane site, just across the creek, and it was perfect for the two of us and our dog. Super private, peaceful, and just the right size. The OTC site next to it is also really spacious, so that would be a great option if you’re coming with a bigger group. A few things that might be helpful if you’re planning a stay here: 📱 Phone & internet: We’re with Telstra and had no issues with calls. Internet was a bit slow and dropped out , but it was still enough to stream Spotify. For a proper bush campsite, that’s honestly more than enough for us. 🚙 4WD: You’ll definitely want a 4WD to get to this site, especially for safety. We had absolutely no trouble getting in or out in dry weather, but after rain I’d imagine you may need a hand from the hosts. 🔥 Firewood: Definitely get the $20 firewood option. It’s worth it. You get heaps more than you’d normally get from a shop, it kept our fire going all day, and having it already stacked and ready at the site was a nice bonus. Thanks so much, Alannah and Phil! We had such a great stay and will definitely be back 😎👍🙏

We love this site at Over the Creek, this was our 5th trip, it is our goto for a quick camp weekend. When we first started going the hosts would meet you at the gate and have a chat. We now get a message saying that we can head straight to our site. It’s spacious and quiet, right near the front creek that when it’s running (unfortunately not this time 😢) you goto sleep to the sound of the creek trickling. Our 2 dogs love the freedom of running around chasing a ball, although we keep a close eye as there are cows and horses at different times of the day, that usually don’t come near the camp site. We have bought friends and family up with us on different trips, it’s just a great place to be. We are already thinking about our next trip to Over the Creek! Thanks Alannah.

A great property! Loved it. Private camp sites down by the flowing creek with lots of space and far away from other campers. Even better when the summer rains flushes it out & fills it up a bit more but a few little pools to sit in atm. The owner Phil is friendly & helpful he delivers the firewood each day $20 such a great deal. Will def return.

Beautiful spot. Definitely need a 4wd to get in, not a hard climb, but steep. Carol met us at the gate. Guided us to the Lovers Lane site. Quiet spot, OTC site is very close (approx 50m), but sperated by some light bush. While we stayed there, it looked like all other sites were occupied. Despite this, it was a quiet night. Definitely recommend the spot.

Great campsite, very clean and private. The hosts were amazing! The creek at Miagi wasn't flowing (dry season) and the dam a little stagnant but the other creek was a lovely reward after a small hike :)

Great relaxing spot beside the creek at Lovers Lane. Needed a fair bit of levelling, got it sorted with some rocks and blocks of wood. Very steep road in. Cows paid us a visit. Friendly hosts. Enjoyed our stay

Outstanding views! So peaceful and quiet in the large area we had. Couldn't see and barely heard other campers The entire weekend. The horses and cows were friendly but kept a nice distance. It was lovely to see them appear a couple of times a day and drink from the creek near our camp. Recommend the $20 wood pile! Definitely going back again.
