We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival

The creek is always flowing with the clearest, cleanest water, and the hosts are absolutely wonderful—so friendly and welcoming. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely be back. Entrance is at the very end of dirt/gravel road (Simmons’s rd). Stayed at Phil’s spot - nice open space. Could not see other campsites but could hear some other campers. Great space for groups. Fun 4wd track to get to camp site. Phil greeted us at the gate and was a friendly host. Ground was level.

Second time staying at this spot and love it just as much as the first. So much space for the kids to roam, surrounded by cows and horses and beautiful mountain views. Right next to a creek perfect for leaf races, climbing trees and exploring. Thanks for another beautiful trip Alannah! The kid’s are already asking when we will be back.

Phil’s Spot.4WD
Carol and Phil are fantastic hosts! The campsites are well maintained, mowed, and tidy, and we really appreciated being able to collect firewood. This was our second stay, this time at Phil's Spot. It requires a walk to the creek but is large, mostly level grassy site with a large fire pit and best of all, no neighbours. Could easily fit a group. The Main Range views are beautiful, especially when the early morning sun turns the mountains pink. Our first stay was at Lindsey's Flat, which is a large, grassy & open site that has unobstructed views of the range but is more exposed to the wind. We hope to return and try Back Flats next time! Thanks for another great stay

We loved our spot at Over the creek. It was quiet, well kept on a stunning creek setting. Phil was friendly and welcoming, escorting us to our site upon arrival. (4wd is required for some sites) We headed up creek to find a hidden waterfall to ourselves! Absolutely stunning property. We will be back!

What a great spot. Love the fact it is completely off grid and to top it off Phil is a legend. We did pick some bottle tops and ring pulls and made sure we left our sites better than we found it. Already planning a return trip hopefully when it's really cold. Great place and beautiful scenery to chillax in.

We stayed at Lovers lane, its was beautiful, secluded and tranquil situated right on the creek. We have an off road single axel pop top caravan and the 4WD track to get to the site is not for beginners, but for an experienced traveler you’ll be fine. Our host Phil was friendly and left us to enjoy our time in private. We will be back in summer to enjoy the creek.
